I wanted to have this conversation because I too once worked for my family business. I have also worked for a brand in transition from one generation to the next and had the great honor of helping guide them through that process. It’s really reminiscent of all of the work I do, which is working with brands to identify their core values and points of differentiation, while creating strategies that help them grow and remain relevant in today’s ever changing world. So this topic is extraordinarily relevant, not just for those working in a family business, but for those who are looking to grow in authentic and substantial ways.
