We talk to her about carrying on the traditions of the barbershop business and her positive outlook while living with metastatic cancer.

Our "Women in Business" special series continues,  highlighting local women entrepreneurs speaking about their lives and experiences in forging a successful path in their chosen career. Today we speak to Bonnie LaTourette about Cabin Brook Farm that she owns with her husband Mark in Wayne County, where they are presently raising beef cattle.The LaTourettes not only raised four children of their own, 2 girls and 2 boys, but opened their home to 63 foster children from 2004 – 2019.Bonnie was also selected as the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau’s “2023 Outstanding Woman in Ag."

Sandra Weiss, the proprietor of Organic World, shares her story of moving from Spain, her entry into farming, her future plans, and emphasizes the significance of organic farming and being a Woman in Business. Sandra joined Tim Bruno on Radio Chatskill.
