Yap to Monkeying Around in Mexico

I hope you like the sound of Victoria's voice because that's who stole the mic this week. As she returned from Mexico, then got food poisoning, she's got a lot to say. That combined with Sarah's turn to be sick and mic issues, you'll find out soon who's doing most of the talking. If you learn anything from this episode - let it be to let yourself take breaks/vacations and enjoy time with your friends and family!

    Yap to the 20th Hannaversary

In this episode we channel our younger selves! As two girlies who watched Disney heavily and grew up admiring Hannah Montana, of course we were going to watch the 20th Hannaversary episode! Join us for a chat on our likes and dislikes and what we had hoped to see out of this. Do we lose the plot a bit and fall off the deep end on influencer consumerism? Sure, but you get the point!

    Yap to Summer 2026

Monday and Tuesday really had our seasonal depression gone, but just as fast as that false spring came, it went. We're both feeling a little down these days, summer expectations, body disappointments, and a total lack of Vitamin D. What better way to feel better than remind ourselves of all the good things we have planned this summer - warmer weather is just around the corner!

  5. 33

    Yap to Roommate Roulette

Human feces, stolen alcohol, straddling, and screaming men. What do all of these things have in common? They're all things our roommates did. In today's episode, we relive some of our most traumatic roommate stories. Some of us have had many roommates, while others have had one bad enough it seems like many. Comment your most horrific roommate story and our emails are always open for submissions!

Yap to Enneagrams - Personality Styles

Sit down, grab a drink and turn on your listening ears. This week we get a little more technical and dive into the details of personality styles. We thought what better way to honour our relationships for Valentines Day than to critique our personalities and determine if we are compatible with our partners. Spoiler alert, we ended up more confused than we started, some of these results don't track, and it is what it is...Learn more herehttps://www.enneagraminstitute.com/how-the-enneagram-system-works/https://www.mindbodygreen.com/articles/enneagram-compatibility-how-types-pair-romantically?srsltid=AfmBOoq9LkxEQpV0Nihjtu7rY22s5JmwVpqeSPD0XphYyhdHxUAqChZATake the test here https://enneagramtest.net/Stay with me here.. I was so excited for this episode however our video did not work, and really set the tone for the recording. Thank you for following along on our journey!

    Yap to Amazon Consumption

In today's episode we sit down and catch up. We do an Amazon review highlighting some major purchases from 2025 and give 'em a quick review. Looks like the best purchases were car mats, electric lighters, and and Italian charm bracelets. Stick around to find out our everyday purchases and learn how we splurged last year!

  8. 30

    Yap to 2026 Bingo Cards

We thought no better way to ring in the year than some positive manifestations. We hopped on the trend and got to work mapping out our goals and aspirations for the year. Your goals are like 60% more likely to come to fruition if you write them down. Right? Take this time to think about your goals and aspirations this year, maybe even write your own bingo card. Who knows, you may just change your year as you know it!

  9. 29

    Yap to 2026 Wrap

Happy New Year!Although this episode is a yap to 2025 wrap, we went through a LOT more trauma than we cared to relive. What you didn't get during this episode is much of a 2025 wrap, however you did get a lot of yapping around the fact! If it wasn't obvious, this was not our year, but I digress. We hope you can leave all the negativity behind and move forward. Honestly, it feels good to leave everything in the past and start 2026 fresh with a clean slate.

  10. 28

    Yap to Halloween History

Trick or treat? This episode is full of both. Through this week's episode (the last of the season before we break) we go through how Halloween came to be and some folklore like Stingy Jack and the jack-o-lantern! A mix between Christian and Pagan history created the wonderful day of Halloween as we know it, however this didn't really take off until the mid 1900's but don't worry, we'll fill you in on everything!Happy Halloween, (and Go Jays Go)

  11. 27

    Yap to Spooky Season

We wanted this month to get into the spirit of the season so this week we went with spooky! Not too spooky because Sarah's a little bit of a wuss, but we decided to share some paranormal stories off Reddit. The lights went off and the goosebumps came on - get comfy and prepare to be spooked!PS. Any stories of yours you want to share can be sent into our email @[email protected]

  12. 26

Yap to Your Fall "To Do" List

The weather is crisping up and the spooky vibes are rolling in. With the turn in the seasons, we decided to bring to you our fall "to do" list and rate both activities and movies to get you in the fall mood. If you do one of these this month, whether it be apple picking, corn mazes, hiking, or a Halloween movie night, we guarantee it'll increase your mood and make your month! We hope you're inspired by pumpkin spice and all things nice!

  13. 25

    Yap to Reality or Mandela

Though we start off all over the place, as per usual... this episode actually creates a lot of doubt and conversation. We start with a book/tv review, because why not, but the meat of the episode is centered around both the Mandela effect and Sarah's lack of recall regarding pop culture and social events. The Mandela Effect is a social phenomenon and collective experience where a group of people remember at event one way, while the reality of the event occurring was different. We hope you learned some new information and that you're not questioning reality too hard!

  14. 24

    Yap to Connie Baby

PSA - There will be spoilers in this episode!!The day has finally come! Whether you binge watched or have been watching for years, we are all on the edge of our seats. In today's episode, we are going over our predictions for the series finale of The Summer I Turned Pretty. We go through some of our realistic predictions for how the show and our watch party will go, but there are some whacky out there theories that we discuss as well (cue Twilight). Next week we will see if our predictions were accurate. If you are team Conrad, leave a polar bear emoji below (shout out junior mint xoxo) and if you're a Jeremiah stan ... I guess you can stay. Drop a cake emoji in the comments below.

  15. 23

    Yap to Icks - Men

Do you ever go on a first date, spend the night with someone new, or have a long term friend who pulls this incredibly foul habit/saying/move and you just go... iiick. WELL we have a list of our icks and common icks to share with you! Some of these have become realizations through our personal experiences, but others just don't even need to be seen to know that's an ultimate no-no.

  16. 22

Yap to Our Travels - Ohio

We did the unthinkable and crossed the border last weekend on a 12.5h, 1264km overnight road trip. That's not all we did thou! If there's anything you should know about us, it's that we pack a lot into our days. We had back to back plans from Friday night to Sunday during the day, and as tired as we were, we regrouped and brought you this fun recap. If you love when plans don't turn out ok, or people get hurt, embarrassed, or even scared, then you should not miss this episode! Get comfy, because we've got a lot to yap about!

  17. 21

Yap to Ronald Reagan, Birds Killer - Conspiracy Theories

Oh we are so excited to share this with you! CONSPIRACY theories. Have you ever dove deep into the world of what if, a little bit of paranoia, and a lot of excitement? Imagine the endless possibilities if reason and science were cut out of the picture-kidding (only slightly). Well we dove a little into a few big conspiracies including how they got their debut and our thoughts on them. Some of these are silly goofy while others open up a whole new can of worms. Let us know your thoughts and do you have any conspiracies you want to share with the class?

  18. 20

Yap to Our Mid Year Crisis

Everyday is an opportunity for growth and new beginnings. We started the year and this podcast off with a wrap of 2024 and a list of goals for 2025, so half way through the year we're doing a raw and honest check-in. We may not have hit all of our goals yet, but that doesn't mean we can't continue to work towards them and start now. The year isn't over, we hope you as a listener are inspired to continue going. Every day is a new day so here's your sign to start!PS - we have been experiencing some major technical difficulties the last few episodes. THANK YOU for being patient with us!PPS -If you made it to the end, Victoria did have this conversation with her therapist. Tears were shed.

  19. 19

Yap to Minimum Wage, Maximum Drama - Retail Stories

Retail therapy or retail trauma? We've both worked our fair share of retail jobs and all it's caused us is tears. We've learned quite a bit though, so we decided to bring our knowledge to the microphones and share our front end experiences with you! 5+ years in the industry leaves us with both advice and horror stories, so buckle up, prepare for some queasy stories, and lock in to this whirlwind of an episode!

  20. 18

Yap to Vet Bills, Finances, and Bad Friends - AITAH

We've had a rough week! Well, Victoria has... What's a podcast episode without a little 30 min yap session. Vet bills have taken over, but that's ok, there's nothing like an 'Am I the Asshole' thread to pick you up after a rough go. Take a seat with us while we yap about bad friends, bad siblings, and even worse step parents. We want to hear your thoughts! Do you agree?

  21. 17

    Yap to Bedroom Talk

Hey family members, maybe skip this one would ya? In this week's episode we take the edge off and play a little game and enjoy a silly goofy hangout. Things got a little deep, personal, and rated R. Sometimes its relieving to take the taboo out of the bedroom - join us and think deep about how you might answer these questions. Well, let's get yapping!

  22. 16

    Yap to Gaslighting the Gaslighter

In this episode we bring to you a light-hearted discussion on what gaslighting is and where you may experience this behaviour. POC and other minorities are often victims to gaslighting and more susceptible to systemic gaslighting in society, workplaces, healthcare, and even within family systems. Chronic gaslighting can lead to low self confidence, isolation, and survivors may struggle with decision making, self worth, and rebuilding confidence. Listen in to learn the signs and symptoms, and let's discuss resources to heal and recover together! https://www.thehotline.org/resources/what-is-gaslighting/https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/gaslighting#faqhttps://www.gbvlearningnetwork.ca/our-work/backgrounders/gaslighting_in_intimate_relationships/index.html

  23. 15

Yap to Anything But That Quiz

Do you find yourself and your partner butting heads and fighting about the same things? Although we aren't professionals, our brief conversation may spark the idea for a relationship check-in! Sometimes people express and receive love in different ways, and discovering your love language can help increase communication and appreciation between partners. Now, we couldn't get through a quiz ourselves, but maybe you can, and if so, check back in!

  24. 14

    Yap to This or That

Ladies and gents, boys and girls, we are back for season 2! What better way than to yap to a handful of this or that. We take on some silly goofy scenarios and some controversial opinions and openly chat. This is a safe space! Did we get a little off topic? Well, this podcast wouldn't be titled "Yap to That' if we didn't yap to just about everything. Are these really controversial? Take a seat, listen, and answer along with us!

  25. 13

Yap to Aunt Flo, Mother Natures Gift

After some odd cramping one day, we decided to deep dive into the nitty gritty of menstrual cycles. It got real, it got authentic, and it got a little ... 'ew'... These topics can be uncomfortable - Sarah just about leaves the frame as she inches her body away from the discussion, but speaking freely about these experiences are so important. If you have a uterus, you can probably relate to some of our stories, and we feel for you!

  26. 12

    Yap to Your Twenties

Sit down, get cozy, lets yap. Are you a planner? Did you know exactly where you'd go to college, what career you wanted, when you'd be married with kids? So did we, or so we thought. Then you're 25, and nothing has gone quite as "planned". We wanted to sit down and talk about the realities of being in your twenties. The unknowns, the highs, lows, and everything in between. Listen for some good advice, but... Long story short, just do it. All of it. You will never regret what you do, only what you don't do. Your timeline is yours, and you still have so much life to live. Slow down.

  27. 11

Yap to Unpacking Sleep and the Subconscious

We kick things off with a lighthearted dive into summer style - bathing suits! High-waisted vs. low-rise: which side are you on? Don't get too comfy on the beach because we're drifting into deeper waters. In this episode, we explore the fascinating world of sleep cycles, what's really going on in your brain at 3am., and how to interpret those bizarre dreams you keep having. From REM rhythms to subconscious symbolism, we break it all down in a way that's fun, accessible, and just a little surreal. Slip into your comfy clothes-this is your guide to the dream world.

  28. 10

    Yap to AITA Chaos

In this episode, we’re catching up on life and how remote work's little joys and quirks are treating Victoria. In our debrief, we dive into how our friendships have evolved—growing stronger, deeper, and sometimes hilariously chaotic, especially since bringing the boys into our crazy worlds. Then, we get into the drama with a round of "Am I the Asshole?" stories, focusing on the messiest of friend group fallouts, family tension, and classic roommate conflicts. Come for the wholesome vibes, stay for the petty debates.

  29. 9

Yap to Wet, Rainy, Low Vibes

Sarah's back from vacation but Victoria is not back from the dead! Join us on this week's episode as we embrace the wet, cold, gloomy vibes that the current weather has graced us with. This put us in some type of mood and we thought we could take on some spooky stories, but turns out we are far too wimpy for that! If you notice us jump all over the place, well this is episode 11, you shouldn't be too surprised! Thanks for listening!

  30. 8

Yap to the Fall of Ruby Franke

As difficult as it was to watch, Victoria, Sarah, and their first official guest, Jess sat down separately and watched the Ruby Franke docuseries where the truth unfolded about their home life. Join us as we navigate the truths that were exposed and our opinions on social media surrounding family vlogging. Of course we hope all those involved get the help they deserve and can heal from this. Please excuse the technical difficulties - thank you for your ongoing support & patience!!

  32. 6

Yap to Lip Prints & Stolen Cups

Who doesn't love a little morning debrief after a night out? This week, we're inviting you to listen as we yap about last night and relive some of our favourite memories from our nights out on the town. I thought we would be able to read other relatable stories, but if there's one thing you should know about us, it's that we can yap about ourselves forever. We only got to one other story before reeling it right back into us.

  33. 5

Yap to Drug Dealers, Skid Marks, and Stalkers

Have you ever found yourself coming out of a relationship or situationship and allow yourself to take a breather, just to look back and think "oh my god, how did I let that happen?!" WELL, luckily you're not alone! We've all found ourselves in relationships that had us looking back with regrets. Have no fear, we listen and we don't judge, rather we yap to that and welcome your stories and experiences with lots of laughs and support. In this weeks episode, we are going to talk about our own stories that we can now look back and laugh on. Additionally, we've taken some submissions from our listeners and can't believe what you have all been through!

  34. 4

Yap to Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan, & Mary Jackson

Today we discuss the trials and tribulations of three very important African American females. Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan, & Mary Jackson are three brilliant and monumental mathematicians that faced adversities while working as "computers" and engineers for NASA (NACA). They overcame racial and gender barriers to advance aerospace exploration into what we know it as today. The US would not have put men on the moon first if it wasn't for women. Let's celebrate them, and recognize how their determination and resilience continue to inspire female STEM professionals today through a powerful reminder that the development and progression of space exploration is a story of untold perseverance, intelligence, and courage.

  35. 3

Yap to Cupid and the Evolution of Valentines Day

In this episode, we dive into the brief and somewhat confusing origins of Cupid, exploring how this iconic figure came to be. You can't think of Cupid without automatically linking him to Valentine’s Day. So we thought, lets trace its roots, which originated from ancient pagan traditions and discuss the evolution to the modern-day celebrations we know today. And of course, we couldn't resist throwing in some hot takes on love, relationships, and everything in between—so get ready for some real, unfiltered romantic opinions. Tune in to hear us fully embrace our romantic sides and share our thoughts on this beloved (and often perplexing) holiday!

  36. 2

    Yap For The Girls

Did we even properly introduce the game? Honestly, we might have skipped that part, but hey, who needs formalities when you’re having fun? Grab a cozy blanket and join us as we dive into a nostalgic game night full of laughter, wild challenges, and unexpected twists. In this episode, we're playing For The Girls, mimicking carefree childhood sleepovers. Whether you're reminiscing about your younger years or just looking for a lighthearted escape, you’re never too old for a good round of playful dares and awkward truths. Tune in and let’s get (un)comfortable – it’s game time!

    Yap to Attachment Theory

If you can get past Victoria's sniffles long enough to listen, this episode will have you questioning your attachment style. We were definitely questioning ours. Did you know there are 4? Sarah doesn't do well under pressure, but after a few days of thought she said she felt understood recently when Will sent her money to treat herself to the smoothie bowl she had been wanting. Follow the link below to do the quiz yourself, determine your attachment style, and get on the path to more secure relationships!
