Dear Doctor
Written in 1830 this poem by Lord Byron is all about those times when publishers very firmly and mostly rudely rejected the publications of writers. Praising them at first and then very neatly rejecting the work, those were hard times. Listen to the poem for its humour for the irony , the wit and the level of sarcasm goes up the roof:)

She Walks in Beauty
George Gordon Byron also known as Lord Byron was an accomplished English poet of the 19th century. One of his biographers describes him as "a mystery in a winding sheet crowned with a halo". He was an observer and it is said that this poem was written when he observed a beautiful woman while attending a meet. we do not know for sure whether he was able to convey to her his feelings but of course the beauty of the poem lies in its juxtaposition of the the inner beauty and its outer reflection.

When You Are Old
This is a poem by the 19th century Irish poet William Butler Yeats. The speaker is asking his lover to think ahead to the future and the time when they will be old and suggests that the lover will regret not being with him once she realises the true face of all those false lovers around her.. but at that moment she will not be able to do anything about it.
