Meditation to invoke your divine inner Shakti

the cosmic energy of Shakti lies within you, at this very moment. This deeply soothing and empowering meditation will act as a channel to help you awaken your divine inner Shakti. Shakti means power or energy. Mythologically, Shakti is always described as feminine, often personified as the goddess, Devi, the divine feminine consort of the divine masculine Lord Shiva. But at the deepest level, Shakti transcends gender. Shiva and Shakti energies lie within each one of us - often playing their own roles in every moment. By harmonising the Prana, practising with devotion and honouring the divine Shakti within, through Dhyaan, we can achieve a blissful state of being and union to this Shakti. May this meditation that has been infused with Devi energy bring to you immense peace, creativity, strength, wisdom and power to follow your divine path that will unfold beautifully.

"The attitude of gratitude is the highest way of living, and is the biggest truth, the highest truth. Meditation for presence

Yoga is about being present. In other words, yoga is about showing up for your life with the honest intention of doing the best that you can. Another way of thinking about this is, yoga is presence and presence simply means to be with what is as is. When you attend to what is happening you notice that the present moment, “what is,” is dynamic. Life is a precious gift delivered as the present, an always new moment. You are free to do with that gift whatever you want. Presence, Being Present, Being with what is, Mindfulness, Consciousness, Attention, Awareness. We can think about all of these words as focusing only on the task at hand; concentrating on a single activity; paying close attention to your actions; acting consciously and deliberately; to do what you are doing; being here now; conscious awareness; remaining focused on what is actually happening right where you are. A simple way to experience presence is by focusing on the breath. Feel connected to the present, as you allow yourself to feel deeply relaxed with this guided mediation.

    Yoga, an end to comparison

It happens to all of us - thoughts of comparison that lower self esteem and increase self doubt. Can this chain of thoughts be broken with a simple shift in perspective? Yoga goes to show us that yes it can. True wisdom in Yoga lies in experience. My wish for you is to give yourself this opportunity to embody an experience which can end suffering caused by comparison. As I share my learnings of the Yoga practise, I go back to one of my favourite quotes on the power of presence by Yoga teacher and Author Linda Sparrowe “Yoga begins right where I am – not where I was yesterday or where I long to be.”

    Meditation for Lightness in Being

What do inspiring spiritual leaders such as HH The Dalai Lama, Paramhansa Yogananda and Swami Vivekananda have in common? A radiant lightness in being. Each one of us has access to this lightness within. This Yoga Nidra Meditation will awaken a treasure trove of radiance, playfulness and lightness which you can embody in this very moment. A Light heart is wise, not held down by heavy emotion and thoughts of despondency. A person who is Light in nature laughs easily and takes life as it comes. They bounce back with resilience. As the wonderful saying by G.K. Chesterton goes, "Angels can fly because they take themselves lightly."

Meditation for Dissolving Thoughts and Inviting Clarity

Gift yourself this opportunity to allow your thoughts to slow down. Experience deep relaxation in a theta state. In 2005, the National Science Foundation found that the average person has about 12,000 to 60,000 thoughts per day. Yoga Nidra takes us effortlessly into a state of harmonious, restful being. From here, we can bear witness to our thoughts calmly, inviting in clarity and awakening to our deepest, all-knowing, all-welcoming self. This meditation is inspired by a beautiful quote by Pema Chödrön - “You are the sky. Everything else – it’s just the weather.”

Meditation for Radiant Health and Deep Sleep

Experience the art of relaxation and deep healing through Yoga Nidra. Yogic Sleep is ancient practise which originated in India in the 1960's by Swami Satyananda Saraswati. Directing your awareness to a specific part of the body will relax and recharge that area – opening a doorway into other parts of the body and mind for further healing and rejuvenation.
