The Old Me Could Never
Hello Beautiful! Happy new year I know it's been a hot minute since the last time I released an episode; life was very heavy in 2025 and I spent a lot of time taking care of my mental health and going to therapy. There have been so many things I wanted to share with you, and I figured starting with our most recent trip to Saint Lucia for the holidays would be a fun place to start. I hope you find this episode helpful, and I can't wait to hear what you think! Your body is not the problem!

Your Arms are Not the Problem
They're telling you your arms are the problem. I'm telling you... YOUR ARMS ARE NOT THE PROBLEM! What do YOU want to think? What are you WILLING to think? What do you NEED to think? It feels like I need to yell from the roof tops right now with everything I've seen online lately that YOUR ARMS ARE NOT THE PROBLEM. Typically, I don't see diety/toxic content on social media, but two body positive content creators I follow both posted about the same IMO unhelpful workout program. So, today we're hopping on facetime and discussing WHY your arms are not the problem, with tips and challenges you can implement to begin seeing your arms as your friend. YOUR ARMS ARE NOT THE PROBLEM!

Are You Taking Care of Your Weight Loss or Yourself?
For so many years I was solely focused on taking care of my weight loss instead of myself. And that makes the years I spent sick make a shit ton of sense. Today I discuss ways in which you may be taking care of your weight loss instead of yourself, where those beliefs could stem from, and what taking care of you may look like. I hope this episode is helpful! Your body is not the problem!

How to Be a Great Host: Body Image Edition
With more holidays approaching, I wanted to share with you 8 things you can start/stop in order to be an even better host! Can't wait to hear what you think of today's episode and what actions you will take before hosting your friends/family this year. And if you're not hosting... feel free to share this episode to your stories in an indirect way of encouraging those who are hosting you to maybe make some simple changes. Cause the goal is that every one has fun right? Your body is not the problem!

I Denied Being Weighed at the Allergist
*This is not medical advice* At the beginning of this month I went to an allergist and denied being weighed. The allergist was fine with it... However, after I shared a reel on Instagram describing my experience, there were a lot of random men who were pissed. That reel has since been taken down because Instagram continued to push it (300,000 views) to men who were making nasty comments, not just to myself but also to others who had left positive comments. I did share their Instagram handles in the episode because I thought it lightened the episode and was a friendly reminder that these strangers should not get to dictate how we feel about our bodies. But I chose the comments that were less mean and more so just uneducated/diet culturey and that we could have had a conversation about, IF they had been civil in the comment section. With that, I can't wait to hear your thoughts on today's episode! Have you ever wanted to or have denied being weighed at an appointment? Your body is not the problem!

Are You a 'Be Safe' or a 'Have Fun' Kind of Person?
I had the realization over the summer that for most of my life I have been a 'Be safe' person. Which like, there's nothing technically wrong with it but I experienced the difference of being told 'be safe' and 'have fun' about the same activitity and I was like holy shit do the two of those feel different. And I would love to implement saying 'have fun' more than I say 'be safe' to others and to myself. As I continued thinking about the two statements I realized how it can be applied to our body image, and so that's what I share with you today! Can't wait to hear what you think :) Your body is not the problem!

The Menstrual Cycle Box
Are you falling into the Menstrual Cycle Box? You might be if you get mad at your body for not having energy when you're ovulating and or using your luteal phase as an 'excuse' for being grumpy etc. Don't get me wrong, I think it's VITAL to understand your cycle and to use it as a tool to listen to your body and decipher it's messages and I think that sometimes we get stuck in this box that leaves us feeling more frustrated or mad at our bodies than is warranted! Fact: Basing Your Worth on Your Size is BS
Graeme and I were shopping for a tshirt a few weeks ago and I went in wearing a shirt that was an XL and tried on a shirt that was XXS. When we base our worth on our size we can realize how silly of a metric that is when it's capable of changing within one minute without our body changing. AND EVEN IF OUR BODY DID CHANGE, YOUR BODY IS STILL NOT THE PROBLEM!!!!!!! Can't wait to hear what you think of today's episode! Your body is not the problem.
