This one was also for a theatrical production in the PuSh Festival in January 2015. The first section is for a young girl going to bed, while a not-so-manacing character awaits under her bed. They meet, become friends, and play. The middle section is their sword battles with dragons and pirates, followed swiftly by exhaustion and sleep in the third section. Was it all real, or perhaps in her dreams?

This is a cover of Billy Joel's And So It Goes, as arranged by Bob Chilcott. I performed this recently with Vivaldi Chamber Choir and decided to record it myself for fun. It's a nice song. Enjoy!

This track began as something totally different, but then I was bored one day and decided to have some fun and make a parody of something and for some reason the words "Itsy Bitsy Spider" came out. The video is on Youtube is you'd like to see it.

This is an alternative beginning to the previous release of Shoals of the Past. I like it more, but that's just me. It's dark, and that's the point. I was thinking about the deep and vast silence of space when I wrote this. Furthermore, I wanted to add more to the idea of space. I thought about the stars being tiny (yet vast) lights in the darkness, and that was the inspiration for the image attached to this track and the video on Youtube. The light is from within and shines across even a vast distance in total darkness. Ashley Bulthuis created this image for me after I described what I wanted. Thank you Ashley.

I wrote this piece for a theatrical production at the Roundhouse theatre in the 2015 PuSh Festival. While this recording played, two performers danced a mysterious waltz reminiscent of that which may or may not have occurred in a dream you had. Be swept away...

I wrote the music for this track in 2011, and remixed it in 2015 for the PuSh Festival Performance Phantasmagoria: Circus of Dreams performed at the Roundhouse Theatre in Vancouver, BC Canada. This was played while two performers acted out an intense scene. Enjoy! Zac

This track is inspired by the works of Philip Glass and the minimalist movement. It incorporates tinges of 21st century postmodernism while running an accelerated phase shifting technique in the voices. I recorded the vocals after releasing the instrumental for use in a documentary film by Dan Reville about the Bachelor of Performing Arts degree program at Capilano University during the 2014/2015 year. I wrote this song the evening I heard about Robin Williams' death. There are many people who have lost someone special, and in a way this is not only for Mr. Williams, but his death shocked me and inspired me to write this poem of the same name and to write and perform this song. Jordan Burgess helped me engineer the audio quickly. Thanks Jordan!! Farewell Robin, farewell Robin, farewell Robin. O, your star, always shining in the night sky tells of a father's love. Though now we part, we'll always see you, there in the sky above. And one day we'll be together again.
