Ron and Adam share their thoughts on some of his most notable appearances, roles and material he’s left behind for all of us. But it’s not all bad news. There’s other things in store and even a bit of a peak at the upcoming Cinemasters Spooktacular which debuts at the end of September. Water Cooler: More Delays and Theaters Fight Back with Shang-Chi
Oh hey there friends. Welcome back to another fun little installment of Cinemasters. We’re kind of low key today. Just some friendly water cooler talk. Kind of like a fireside chat but with more casual beverages and movie news with less spirited libations and singular movie focus. From time to time our Cinemasters will be dropping these little updates as necessary. The movie industry is an ever changing one given the state of the world right now. From scheduling changes to studio bulletins, The Rental King and Nighthawk will be chiming in with their two cents on everything that’s bubbling up around the proverbial office. So sit back and enjoy an abbreviated episode of CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE!!!

The answer is the best damn Suicide Squad movie there is. Welcome back Cinemaster fans! This time around we’re sitting in with Ron and Adam as they talk about a new movie still in theaters. So this should serve as your SPOILERS WARNING! Our Cinemasters will be talking about the movie in detail so if you’ve not seen the flick yet just know they both HIGHLY endorse it and have enjoyed it probably close to 10 times or more between the two of them. Comfy in their velvet clad wingback chairs, clad in the classiest of smoking jackets, the Cinemasters will cover time travel, tasteful nudity, and vehicles that start by slightly lowering the driver side visor while simultaneously playing “Bad to the Bone” by George Thorogood and the Destroyers. The conversations will jubilantly bounce around from topic to topic and you’ll even get some added bonus banter in the last third of the podcast. So give me your clothes, your boots and your motorcycle (so you can’t go anywhere) and enjoy this episode of CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE!!!

As long as you’re one of the Corey’s in a mint green Cadillac then the answer is most definitely you! This week Ron and Adam get into the 1988 coming of age classic “License to Drive” featuring the iconic Corey Haim and Corey Feldman. Mastering 'Drop Dead Fred' (1991)
Round two of our Movies that May have aged well is back in full effect and this time our Cinemasters are taking on the 1991 “cult” classic of imaginary proportions, “Drop Dead Fred”. Is this film the ultimate definition of childhood friends only you could see or perhaps a precursor to a Tyler Durden fever dream. Ron and Adam will weigh in on all things Fred in this installment and help us understand why anyone would live on a paddleboat, get a mommy and me makeover or date Tim Matheson in general. You’ll just have to listen in on this episode of CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE!!!

Mastering 'Beavis and Butt-Head Do America' (1996)
Let’s finish out our month of Fools with Mike Judge’s dynamically dumb duo of Beavis and Butt-head as they “do” America. Charged up with 90’s MTV nostalgia and nary a brain cell between the pair, these animated fools awkwardly giggle through 81 minutes of double entendres in hopes of one big score and a new television set. Add in a bevy of celebrity voices, a Rob Zombie musical interlude and enough cavity searches to bankrupt the American Dental Association and you’ve got a modern classic for the ages. Join our Ron and Adam for one final bout of foolishness in this episode of CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE!!!

Mastering 'The Jerk' (1979)

Mastering 'Tommy Boy' (1995)
Welcome to April, Cinemaster fans! It’s the month we celebrate fools. First up on our list is the immortal physical comedian from SNL fame, Chris Farley in his most iconic role of all time. Sandusky’s favorite son and heir to the Callahan auto parts empire, this 7 year Marquette grad has to wrestle with real life when his father leaves him too soon. Coupled with long time SNL alum and friend, David Spade, we cover all things Farley and Tommy Boy in this first installment in our month long tribute to fools.

Mastering 'See No Evil, Hear No Evil' (1989)
Hey there Cinemaster fans, we’re back with our third installment of our love affair with movies. Through the month of February we are picking movies we just love for one reason or another and are sharing them with you. This week is Ron’s second pick, the 1989 Richard Pryor and Gene WIlder classic “See No Evil, Hear No Evil”. Our Cinemasters will walk you through the nuts and bolts of this comedy classic and share their fun takes on some of the goofy things a plucky blind man with a penchant for punching will do and a cautious deaf guy will say trying to keep them both from ending up in the penitentiary for a murder they didn’t commit. Hilarity ensues as these two legends light up the screen with their physical humor as well as razor sharp wit. Also featuring a young and slightly deformed Kevin Spacey and the always stunning Joan Severance, this film is a treasure from the past that our Cinemasters dug up, dusted off and served up just for you in this latest installment of the CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE!

Mastering 'Harvey' (1950)
Welcome Back Cinemasters Fans. We are back for week 2 of our February affair with movies we love. This is Adam’s pick and is near and dear to his heart. Its a classic film from the golden age of black and white cinema. So strap in with the Rental King and Nighthawk of the North as we sit down and talk Elwood P. Dowd and his 6 foot tall rabbit friend, Harvey in this brand new episode of the CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE!

Mastering 'Hot Rod' (2007)
"GODS OF WAR!!!! may your hammer be mighty." Welcome back to another episode of CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE and since February is the month of love we're going to present four movies we have a love affair with, kicking off with Ron's pick: the 2007 Lonely Island (and perhaps more so Adam Sandburg) vehicle, 'Hot Rod'. Hot Rod is an underdog tale about a young 'boy' that wants to be a stung man just like his deceased dad and clearly has some issues with his new step father, Frank. But to earn Frank's love and respect, he must first beat his ass in a fight! Problem is, Frank (played by Ian McShane) has a sick heart and needs $50,000 to afford a heart transplant. Thankfully for him, Rod, along with his intrepid crew, are up to the task of earning the dough and helping Frank get better....and Rod can once again go back to trying to kick his ass. A silly movie to be sure, but you need to listen to this show to understand just how underrated a movie it really is.

Mastering 'Halloween' (1978)
Hey there movie monsters and welcome to our final October episode. To do Halloween the right way we decided to go extremely meta and dedicate our Halloween episode to the movie Halloween. And if that wasn’t kicking it up enough, we pulled out the rest of the stops and brought out the White Machete! In this very special Spooktakular finale we put all three of our horror-rific heads together and break down the initial iteration of the 70’s slasher extraordinaire, Michael Myers. So turn off the lights, grab that leftover trick or treat candy and fill your ears with the Cinemasters instead of those bump in the night noises. See if you can survive in Haddonfield in this episode of CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE!!!

Mastering 'The Gate' (1987)
Since it’s Halloween, we have to push the envelope a little bit. We figured the best way to amp up the podcast this week is to bring back a familiar voice (since you can’t see our faces now anyway, stupid pandemic) to help us break down the 1987 Canadian Horror Classic, “The Gate”. Matt Mercer Joins us to discuss all things demonic for a young Stephen Dorff as he and his north of the border cohorts attempt to dispatch an unholy series of little men in rubber suits trying to eat Louis Tripp. We will cover house parties, metric conversions and the best hairstyles the 80’s had to offer. You’ll get 50% more Cinemaster in this episode and its absolutely free! All you have to do is tune in to this Spooktacular episode of CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE!!!

Mastering 'Rear Window' (1954)
Welcome back for week two of our Spooktacular series this October of all things scary. This time around is Adam’s pick and he’s bringing us his favorite flick from an old school master of thrills and chills, Alfred Hitchock himself. There’s no creepy shower scenes or avian infestations this time around though. This time the scares come from what happens right outside your window. Your “Rear Window” that is. Our Cinemasters take a look and break down the slow burn of the 1954 Jimmy Stewart/Grace Kelly classic look at the crossroads of voyeurism and murder. So grab your binoculars and see if you spy the suspense in this episode of CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE!

Mastering 'Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors' (1987)
October means one thing when it comes to the Cinemasters...Halloween. This year we are bringing you 4 specially designed episodes to bring the terror. Week 1 is Ron’s first pick and we kick it off with a powerhouse when it comes to all things horror. Think red and green sweater, knives for fingers and he’ll get you when the caffeine runs out. That’s right its Freddy Kruger in the best of all the NIghtmare on Elm Street sequels, numero tres: The Dream Warriors. This week we will deep dive into Westin Hills darkest dreams and go toe to toe with the most famous burn victim the silver screen has ever known. So pop in your air pods, sync up the bluetooth speaker and prepare yourself for the CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE!

Mastering 'Bill & Ted Face the Music' (2020)
It’s a movie that’s been 29 years in the making. And because this year feels like it will never end, it also feels like it’s been 29 years since you’ve seen the Cinemasters. But now, their most triumphant return comes together in a truly glorious and entirely excellent fashion. That’s right kids, the Cinemasters are back and it is 100% all about Bill and Ted Face the Music! After a summer hiatus because, let’s face our own music that everything in the world is just the tiniest bit bogus, our heroes are back to talk all things Bill S. Preston Esquire and Ted “Theodore” Logan. So hop in your phone booth with your copy of Battleship and head to the Circle K and hang with our favorite film fanatics the CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE!

Cinemasters: Trivia Junket: Vol. 5 (Graduation and Summer Edition)
Trivia fans, come on down! It’s time for another episode featuring one of our absolute favorite things to do and that is test our collective movie knowledge. We are back again with another round of questions for each other to see just how much of a mastery we have on the cinema. As it stands we are tied with one win a piece and a couple of draws under our belt. We always have a lot of fun coming up with, asking and answering the questions and this episode was particularly fun to make. As usual, we have no idea what the topics are ahead of time and we simply have to do our best to get as many correct answers as we can. Will there be a new champion? Will we face off and have another tie? Will we get all of them wrong and be forced into humiliation and stop doing this forever? The only way you’ll really be able to find out what happens is when you tune in and listen to this episode of the CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE!!!

Cinemasters: 10 Favorite Scoundrels, Anti-heroes or Reluctant Good Guys
Who are the best bad good guys in movies? Or are they the worst good bad guys? We’re not totally sure either but we do have a list of candidates we have put together of our favorite scoundrels, anti-heroes and reluctant good guys. Essentially they aren’t your typical, squeaky clean protagonists. But these guys get the job done with efforts that might be less than desirable in certain circumstances. From dark vigilantes to awkward uncles, we’ve got a great list of characters you’re definitely going to love. Join Ron and Adam as we champion the dark horse in these cinematic contests in this exciting new episode of CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE!!!

This one has been a long time coming, kids. We’ve run out of time for this on our last couple of recordings but we have finally gotten around to discussing these two films. And hopefully by now you’ve seen the epic Cinemasters parody commercial featuring the infamous “bicycle scene” in a Juicy Fruit gum commercial. This episode was particularly fun to make and we had a great time talking about these two films. Now you get to listen to us talk through the ups and downs of both films. You’ll have to tune in and find out what our final verdict is on each of these flicks and whether we recommend or not on this brand new episode of CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE!!!

A Tribute to Pac-Man in the 80's (40th Anniversary Tribute) - Episode 61
It's hard to believe it's been 40 years since the little yellow pizza with a missing slice first gobbled pellets in arcades, laundry mats and convenient stores, our homes and bed-spreads across America. The BitGeeks take a look at the mania that was Pac-Man in the 1980's.

Cinemasters: 20 Memorable Movie Quotes
Everybody loves a good movie quote. It’s like a secret language that only those who have seen a particular film can speak. Some quotes go far and wide for big blockbusters and others sneak by and are only caught on the radar of a select few for a cult classic. Whatever the quote is, we all have some that we hold near and dear to us. In this Feature Presentation the Cinemasters are bringing you 20 classic quotes that they love. Obviously this is a hard subject to whittle down to a top 10 so there’s no sense in painting ourselves into a corner. This is a subject we are just scratching the surface on and will be sure to revisit in the future. One thing is for sure, these quotes will have you reminiscing in some of your favorite flicks and will definitely spark some of your favorite quotes as well. So sit back and enjoy as Ron and Adam bring you 20 of their favorite quotable lines from movies across the spectrum in this episode of CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE!!!

Cinemasters: State of the Cinematic Union Part 2
We are firmly into the Cinematic desert we never thought we’d find ourselves in and there have been some adjustments in the landscape we’d like to discuss as a living record of our takes on these strange days. First we have to cover the battle of the industries. With Universal Studios recent Video On Demand rental of Trolls World Tour apparently doing as well as it has, it’s opened up a bit of a Pandora’s Box in the movie world. AMC theaters is pushing back with the promise to not show ANY Universal movies in their theaters once things open back up. Who needs who more in the landscape ahead is what’s on everyones’ minds going forward. Will AMC be able to survive by boycotting films like Jurassic World: Dominion or F9, the latest in the Fast and Furious series? Is this a huge overreaction that they’ll have to shamefully walk back the morning after? We’ll discuss all this and much more in the world of VOD going forward. We’ll also take a look at the latest Star Wars news regarding Taika Waititi joining the ranks as the newest director on board to helm a picture in the world after Skywalker. We’re both quite excited at this news and wanted to bring a little positivity to the forefront. You’ll get all this and more in part 2 of the State of the Cinematic Union on this episode of CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE!!!

Cinemasters: 99 Cent Comedy Rentals
Welcome back movie goers. This is a Feature Presentation we’ve had in the can for a while now. It’s a whole new segment we’ve been waiting to unveil. From the mind of Ron Avis comes the 99 Cent Rentals. Having both worked in video stores, corporate and mom & pop style, Ron and Adam both understand how to help the wayward customer looking for something a little different than the new release standard fare. In these instances, patrons of the old brick and mortar movie rental establishments would rely on the clerks for a little extra movie knowledge to recommend a hidden gem or maybe dust off a classic. In this segment our Cinemasters will bring 3 comedies to the table that maybe you’ve seen and forgot about or maybe you’ve never even heard of them. Whatever the case is, we are happy to bring this new service to you, our proverbial customers. But to find out just what kinds of flicks our film fanatics are featuring, you’ll have to tune in to this latest episode of the CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE!!!

This time around we are doing a long awaited return to one of growing favorites, Who Played it Better. This time around our Cinemasters have really thrown down the gauntlet with some heavy hitters in the way of classic comedy. Though as per usual, Adam has royally stuck it to Ron. But without giving away too much in this friendly little teaser, Ron has truly risen to the occasion and delivered an amazing line up. Not to scoff at what Adam has put forth this time around but Ron is really going to rock your socks off. So grab your headphones and check out this battle of the iconic comedies in this tasty bite of the CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE!!!

Cinemasters State of the Union
I’d like to formally welcome everyone back to the new and improved, COVID-19 approved Cinemasters of the Universe! We had to take a break and retool our configuration to bring you the same great quality podcasting with a twist of social distancing, because we’re that kind of responsible. But now that we’ve done all that, washed our hands down to the bones and watched the world melt into oblivion, we figured it was time to talk about what everyone is REALLY worried about. WHATS HAPPENING WITH THE MOVIES?!?! So this new episode is the boys speculating on the Cinematic State of the Union. We’re going to cover how the world has recused itself from theater attendance, since ya know, you CAN’T anymore. We’re also going to talk about how studios are migrating some films to later dates, pushing some out to digital platforms ahead of their previously scheduled ETA and where things are potentially going to go for the rest of 2020 and beyond. It's mostly conjecture with a dash of wit and and a whole lot of fun. It’s not all doom and gloom so come and chillax with your Cinemasters, in audio format only. Sorry we can’t bring you our shiny happy faces right now. We’re just happy to pump back into your ear drums in these crazy times and bring you the best we can in all things movies. So tune in and listen to this brand new adventure from the CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE

Cinemasters: 20 Scenes from Movies Greatly Enhanced by Music
Welcome back Cinemaster-ites. As always we appreciate your continued investment in our musings on all things movies. This time around we have a real treat for you. We are in our 26th episode which technically brings us to the most recent James Bond movie, “No Time To Die”. After this episode we will have eclipsed the entire franchise and will no longer have a catalog of films to compete with as we continue forward. It’s wild to think we’ve don’t this many episodes and we have many more ahead of us. It’s nice to take a moment to look back at where we’ve come from and how excellent it is to be where we are now. We’ve grown to a decent little following and are very appreciative to our listeners/watchers of all our fun, movie related wiles. We will continue to bring you the level of content we’ve been delivering and always try to improve as we go along. This episode was particularly fun to put together. Think of your favorite scenes in movies over the years. Now think of some of your favorite songs from over the years. Now imagine if those two things got together in the back of a Volkswagen and had a baby. Those kinds of scenes are what we are talking about this time around. Each of the Cinemasters picked out 10 amazing scenes in some of their favorite films that got turnt up to 11 because the music in those scenes elevated the entire moment to a whole new level. In addition to watching and reacting to these scenes in real time, the fellas will be putting out a Spotify playlist of all the songs for your listening pleasure outside of the podcast. So channel your inner Christian Slater and get ready to pump up the volume on this audio/visual delight as we power through 20 Moments of Monumental Movie Music Magic in this episode of CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE!

Cinemasters: Breakfast at Tiffany's & Heat (What?? You haven't seen that??)
Hey there Cinemaster fans. We are back again with one of our signature Tasty Bites. In this Coming Attractions episode we are going to circle back to a couple of films that Ron and Adam missed seeing somewhere along the line. That’s why we call this segment “WHAAAT??? You haven’t seen that???” because typically that’s the response we get. Yes, we’ve seen a lot of movies but there are also still a LOT of movies out there. So we use this as a special place to slow down just a little, like we’re in a Welch’s jelly commercial, and smell the cinematic roses. This time around we will be covering a pretty broad spectrum as we go back to the early 1960’s for Adam’s pick and shoot forward to the mid 90’s for Ron’s. We will look at Audrey Hepburn’s most iconic role as Holly Golightly in the scintillating classic film “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” as well as the high intensity of two film titans going head to head on the big screen in a matchup of De Niro v. Pacino in “Heat”. Will these selections from the film library of yester-year prove to be worth our Cinemasters effort or should these flicks have stayed frozen in time? To find out you’ll have to tune in to this episode of CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE!

Cinemasters: A Conversation About Erotic Thrillers (Remember Those??)
Saxophones, sweaty bodies and Michael Douglas! Got your attention? There haven't been a lot of new genres in Hollywood over the last several decades, so it's really interesting to see one as prevalent in the 80's and 90's as the Erotic Thriller go away. But they kind of did didn't they? White Machete returns to discuss what makes a thriller so...well, erotic. Let's have some fun playing 'Real or Fake' (Erotic Thriller Edition), try to explain what makes Michael Douglas, basically attracted (PUN) to the genre as well as dissect six of the all-time greatest erotic masterpieces (Body Heat, Poison Ivy, Basic Instinct, Sea of Love, Fatal Attraction, Wild Things). So without further ado, it's time to get the juices flowing.

Cinemasters: The Evolution of Kevin Smith
Ladies! Ladies! Ladies! (and Gentlement too) The Cinemasters are in the hizzzouse! That’s right movie fans, we are kicking off our dedication episode to Jay and his hetero life mate, Silent Bob, creator and legend amongst many, Kevin Smith! And in addition to an excess of the usual ear candy (I’ll refrain from comment on our video presence…) we provide we have gone longer and harder this time, fortunately not in an awkward place like the back of a Volkswagen. And as an added surprise we have our newest Cinemaster joining us again, Matt Mercer. It’s our personal homage to one of the greatest storytellers of a generation who has a loyal fan army of millions. It’s pretty much the only reason Tusk made ANY money. We’re going back to the beginning with the movie that started it all, “Clerks”, and moving through the years of Kevin’s illustrious career from the briny shores of Leonardo, NJ all the way out to Critters of Hollywood in LA. These three Cinemasters have an overload of information from trivia to personal testimony and they’re going to tell it all with no need for a prompt from Walt Flanagan. You’ll get insight into all of Smith’s films from the favorites to, well, the flops. We all love Kevin but if given the chance to go back and do it all again, it might have been #WalrusNo. But that doesn’t stop these three Quick Stop faithfuls from celebrating a man who brought the world the joy of Jason Mewes, gave Jason Lee his start in motion pictures and put Ben Affleck on the map. Any way you slice this Egg-A-Mooby Muffin, the world is a better place with Kevin Smith. So grab your Big Choice Video card, crank up the Olaf “Berzerker” and fill this with Coke, no ice because our Cinemasters are giving you their secret stash in this very special, super extended, might be a squeaquel episode of CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE!

Cinemasters: Gyparody (Kevin Smith Trivia)
Walt Flanagan’s Dog...come on down! Welcome back Cinemaster fans and first time callers. This tasty piece is far more satisfying than some Mall production of Truth or Date. This is a trivia contest devoted to the world of Kevin Smith aka Silent Bob. Ron Avis has lovingly crafted an amazing battle of the wits sure to challenge even the likes of Vincent Pereira, the official View Askew historían. However, this contest is not betwixt our usual Cinemasters, no. We have brought a new funployee into the fold and initiated him as an official Cinemaster. Matt Mercer joins the ranks and he IS supposed to be here today. He and Adam will mentally standoff against each other to see who know the most about all things Jay and Silent Bob. There will be laughter and tears. Chewlies Gum and Mooby’s Cow Tippers. Stink palms and finger cuffs. Willam may even see the sailboat. Bring your friends, neighbors, heck grab your mother, even if she is a tracer. But heed the warning of the Metatron. In Kevin Smith fashion, the language in this installment is in TRUE Jersey style. Dirty. It’s nothing your cousin Walter couldn’t handle though. So pause that Morris Day album for a minute, say goodbye wild horses and tune in to this installment. Cuz we’re goin to Hollywood and you can’t NOT SEE this podcast. And on that note, we cue the music.

Cinemasters: The 16 Best Movies of 2019
Welcome back to another Feature Presentation of the Cinemasters of the Universe, ya filthy animal. And Happy New Year, too! No we aren’t trying to debase our core followers. It’s simply a fun little homage to Home Alone 2 that works perfectly for our YEAR IN REVIEW episode. This is a most excellent episode to tune into if you’ve been watching/listening since day one or are a brand new ticket holder. On this installment each of our Cinemasters, Ron and Adam, will be going through their top 10 films of 2019. This past year was a fantastic one for films. There were box office records broken and great little films that surprised theater goers all over the place. We’ve seen some phenomenal ensemble films that culminated gigantic franchises and one off films that tore at our heartstrings. I can assure you that in whittling down a decisive top 10 there were many difficult decisions for our cinematic compatriots. We should probably let you know that there could definitely be a spoiler or two as our Cinemasters run through the films. Some of the plot lines are guarded for the sake of both Ron and Adam in the event they’ve not seen one of the films discussed, but there are many which are discussed in some detail that if you’ve not seen the films yet, you may want to proceed with caution. It’s never our desire to ruin the movie going experience for anyone who enjoys the podcast but we’d rather be courteous in giving you a heads up that listeners tread carefully. If you think you can handle it either way, we promise we’ll do our best to make it worth your while. These fellas aim to please and entertain. So pull up a chair and get comfy as this episode may go a little longer than your typical fare. But it’s definitely worth your while. Ron and Adam will run down their lists and give you all sorts of insights and trivia, laughs and tears, and maybe a few movies to add to your list of things to watch this January. There’s going to be plenty of horsing around to hopefully keep your spirits high but also some very heartfelt moments that give you a little window into what makes these Cinemasters tick. So if you think you’re game to find out what these two fellas think are the best of the best that the last year of the 2010’s had to offer then grab your popcorn and Coca-Cola Zero Sugar and tune in for this episode of THE CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE!

Cinemasters: Trivia Junket (2019 Edition)
Hey there Cinemaster fans! It’s time for another tasty bite with Ron and Adam. After the implied success of slicing off a piece of your normal Cinemasters episode and keeping our loyal fans appeased on a more regular basis, we are back for another in between with a very special Trivia Junket. This time around the fellas tackle 2019 in review. You might just find when their next official episode drops that this is a very fitting topic to go in tandem with that. Each of the Cinemasters has come up with a 10 question roster for the other with something tying it to the year in review. With Adam’s victory in the first installment upset by Ron’s seizing of the trophy on their second outing with this segment, this third contest will prove to be a very compelling. You’ll have to be sure to tune in to this special episode to play along and see who comes out the victor on CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE!

Cinemasters: 'The Rise of Skywalker' SPOILER Review
A little while ago in a galaxy relatively nearby a Star Wars film was released in theaters. That means the Cinemasters were there to experience The Rise of Skywalker in all its J.J. Abrams glory. Being the 9th and final film in the established Star Wars franchise it seemed to be a bit of a big deal as the theaters were quite full of patrons. But that didn’t stop Ron and Adam from sitting through the film in its entirety and enjoying a good many bits of it. Coincidentally, our newest Cinemaster, 4K Jay, was also on scene with Ron to partake in the film and since we had such a wonderful time with the Star Wars Mad Libs we did last time we brought him along again for a conversation on Star Wars: An Anthology. I should give you a fair heads up that our conversation regarding the film is quite frank regarding plot points in the story and therefore should be regarded as “Spoiler Filled”. While this may be a bit of a misnomer in the sense that it is not filled ONLY with spoilers, it’s a fairly standard way of putting things in this particular venue. If you don’t mind spoilers, have seen the film or are just watching because you love Ron and Adam as much as you do, you’ll be sure to enjoy this episode quite a bit. If you’d like to wait until after you’ve seen the film to watch or listen to the podcast we do also understand that and hold no ill will. So buckle up Star Wars fans as we walk you through not only the latest installment of the Star Wars franchise but we talk all things Skywalker from the first movie to the last and everything in between. We even have a fancy computer program that takes each of our rankings of the Star Wars films and creates a master list of how we feel the films weigh in. We also have some very interesting thoughts from Nick Wright on the Bitgeek podcast who was unable to join us in person but sent both his perception of the movie and his force ghost to watch over us. So you are getting DOUBLE the normal amount of commentary as usual! But in order to get all this Star Wars goodness you’ll have to tune in to this episode of the CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE!

Cinemasters: Movie Mad Libs 'Star Wars'
Calling all Star Wars fans! Calling All Star Wars fans! We are looking for all our film friends who aren’t (or are maybe only a little) butt-hurt about the Star Wars film franchise to enjoy a brand new tasty piece from the Cinemasters of the Universe! We have an extra special treat in the form of a 4th Cinemaster being sworn in on this very special Coming Attraction: Star Wars Mad Libs! 4K Jay joins Ron and Adam to play a fun little game while we talk some Star Wars. This morsel should tide your podcast appetite over until the Feature Presentation of their review of “The Rise of Skywalker” and general Star Wars discussion comes out later this month. This time we are all about some good old fashioned sophomoric fun. Ron got his hands on some Star Wars themed Mad Libs and our 3 Star Wars Stooges will conjure up some of the most immature parts of speech their Jedi minds can come up with. We would like to apologize in advance to George Lucas as we hold nothing sacred in this episode sure to make even the Emperor blush a little. And trust us, it’s genuinely hard to tell with that gross Palpatine skin these days. So hop in a falcon, hijack a Thai fighter or ride piggyback on a Wookie because it’s nothing but fun time Star Wars laughs in this interim episode of the CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE!

A Tribute to Ghostbusters
When there's something strange in the neighborhood who you gonna call? You probably think it's the Ghostbusters, don't you? Technically you'd be right. But there is an alternative that is a bit more accessible to you, the general public, that we think you'll want to take advantage of and it's the first ever Crossover Episode of the BitGeek Podcast and the Cinemasters of the Universe! I should warn you that if you are actually experiencing some sort of full floating vapor or have a chubby little green ghost eating up all your hot dogs, we might not be totally capable of dispensing with your bothersome spirits. However, what we lack in proton related firepower, we more than make up for in charm and wit. In this special crossover episode we unite Ron and Nick of the BitGeek Podcast with Ron and Adam of the Cinemasters podcast. What seems like it would be a panel of 4 with 2 Rons in the mix is actually just three guys and only one of them is Ron. He does have the charm and wit of 2 full Rons, though. So tune in to this very special conversation about all things Ghostbusters. We'll cover the old movies, the cartoons, the games and gear of the Ghost busting universe. Oh and we might just speculate wildly at what all three of us hope will be a magnificent new iteration into the franchise coming next summer. If you've been a fan for 35 years or you've never seen the flicks, we will do our best to entertain you with our shared love of all things Zeddemore, Spengler, Stanz and of course, Venkman in this very special installment of TWO PODCASTS YOU LOVE!

Cinemasters: 10 Movies Coming Soon (January, February and March 2020) to Watch
Buckle up Cinemaster fans, this is your very first episode of JUST the Feature Presentation. Hopefully you enjoyed getting a smaller tasty bite of Ron and Adam with the least installment where the guys covered their Rad Dad Christmas picks. This time around will be filled with action and adventure, comedy and drama, and a little bit of the unexpected. With December coming to a close we have a lot to look forward to in 2020. Not only will there be plenty of optometrist puns but I can only imagine the Barbara Walters, Hugh Downs and John Stossel references will run aplenty in the impending year. But one thing we can definitely count on like clockwork is that Hollywood will continue churning out films we want to see. Thankfully the Cinemasters are always here for us to let us know what they are looking forward to the most in the next 3 months. So tune in and hold on for a riveting assortment of films that will be hitting the big screen in January, February and March of 2020. But there is a bit of a twist with these upcoming films. Ron and Adam try their hands at predicting Domestic Box Office performance in addition to selecting some high quality films in the first quarter of the new year. In January both of the fellas take a bit of a gamble on who they think the front runners will be. Adam makes a big, bold prediction in February and we find that March may be a bit sparse at this time. But to find out exactly what our Blockbuster Buddies have in store for you, you'll have to tune in to this episode of CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE!

Cinemasters: Rad Dads (Ernest Saves Christmas/Santa Claus: The Movie)
Deep within the recesses of the core of creation, long before time and space became a twinkle in the eye of the cosmos, there existed a force so pure that no one being could truly harness its brilliance. To prevent this power from finding its way to the fiendish grip found within the dark hearts of men, the elders of the universe split this core into two pieces and sent them to the corners of existence, only to be summoned when the time was appointed for the union to be restored. Eons passed. Life ebbed and flowed throughout the galaxy. Civilizations came and went. None were worthy, that is until the Radical and the Dadical collided together in a sheer tyranny of will and two men were revealed to be the vessels by which this ancient power should be imbued. They were the Cinemasters. Though set on different paths, these two mere mortals were thrust into the world with no knowledge of what weighty tasks lay before them. Life unfolded in the chaotic exuberance of humanness as these two amassed a filmography unlike that of their peers. From Schwarzenegger to Scorsese, the voraciousness of their videographical appetites were unquenchable. Consuming an endless array of films, the Cinemasters began to fulfill their destiny, unbeknownst to them. Eventually these two men were bestowed progeny and the prophecy's fruition drew nearer and nearer. And finally when all of mankind was reduced to a single Blockbuster Video, our two fateful heroes paths became woven together in a glorious tapestry. In this holy union betwixt these embattled compatriots a goodness the world had never seen before was birthed...Rad Dads. In this episode, Ron and Adam have chosen Christmas Classics that are a little off the beaten path. As the typical holiday procession of movies gets passed around and the standard fare become almost a blur on TV screens across the land, our Cinemasters have hand picked two yuletide gems to reveal a subtler approach to the season that only the 1980's could afford. Ron selected "Ernest Saves Christmas: to share with his children and Adam picked the Dudley Moore December delicacy that is "Santa Claus: The Movie". Thus far our Cinemasters have maintained an untarnished reputation as Rad Dads. Will they keep the streak alive or meet an untimely demise. You'll have to find out in this all new mini-sode of CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE!

Welcome back film fans for another spooky installment of “Cinemaster of the Universe”! This episode is number 18 which means we are fully legal and can totally vote in a sanctioned democratic election, amongst other things. If we were a James Bond film we’d be “Tomorrow Never Dies”, the sassy follow up to Pierce Brosnan’s initial outing as 007. In this episode we’re going to kick things off in the coming attractions with our follow up on “WHAAAAT?? You’ve Never Seen ______?” with Adam’s creepy pick “The Strangers” featuring Scott Speedman and Liv Tyler as well as Ron’s scary sequel “Psycho II” featuring a reprisal of Norman Bates by Anthony Perkins as well as young Dennis Franz and the ever vibrant Robert Loggia. Will these films scare the pants off our Cinemasters? Hopefully not as charges will likely be filed after last time’s stern warning. But you’ll have to tune in to see how things play out. Next on to our Feature Presentation. This time the boys are bucking convention a bit and giving you menacing morsels of the scariest scenes in Cinematic History. Now all these scenes are strictly from horror films but all 20, that’s right 20, scenes are sure to give you all manner of nightmares. Have you been left hiding under the blankets with the lights on by any of these terrifying snip-its? Finally, we get to the post credits scene to see what our Fearless Film Fanatics will be up to on the next thrilling endeavor. Night Shamalamadingdong twist you won’t see coming so you’ll have to be sure and tune in to this exciting episode of CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE!

Cinemasters: 10 Great Sports Movies, Rad Dads (Kazaam/Labyrinth)
Step up to the plate movie fans and welcome to the big show. This is where that fun little Sports Center jingle would go if I had it and copyright wasn’t a thing. But in this episode our Cinemasters are taking on the wide world of sports with reckless abandon. Kicking off our Coming Attractions this time around we ask our fellas once again if they are Rad Dads or not. Ron decided it was time for the kids to see the immortal David Bowie/Jennifer Connelly classic “Labyrinth” while Adam took things in a completely unexpected direction and sat his boys down for the often overlooked cinematic gem featuring the second biggest genie, “Kazaam”. Did each of these timeless treasures make the play with the next generation or were the laces not out on this kick? After that we move into the Feature Presentation, 10 of the best Sports movies of all time. It’s the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat as Ron and Adam run down their picks for the best play makers in athletic filmmaking. There might be some curveballs but with these two swinging for the fences I don’t think anyone will need a buzzer beater to win you over on their rankings. And don’t worry, we’re probably close to out of sports lingo at this point. One more, and we’d be in the penalty box for sure! Finally, the post credits scene this week is a teaser for the next round of Trivia Junket! In the exciting next episode our fellas are gonna duke it out in the ring of movie knowledge. They’re each going in blind as to what 10 questions they will get this time around so if you want to see this prize fight you’ll have to make sure you tune in next time for the CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE!

Cinemasters: 10 Great Movie Trailers | Movie Trivia (80s Movies, Ryan Reynolds)
"For Your Eyes Only" Welcome back theater goers. In lucky number 13 of our Cinemasters episodes the boys introduce us to a brand-new segment in this week’s Coming Attractions. Trivia Junket gets its theatrical release and our Cinemasters challenge each other to a gauntlet of specialized Trivia. If you want to know just how well they fared in this test of wits, you’ll have to tune in to see how things go down. Next we’re on to the feature presentation and this time our heroes are running down the list of some of their top movie trailers of all time. It's too hard to fathom coming up with a legitimate top 10 so the Cinemasters will give us a look at 10 of the best trailers they’ve come across in their trailer tenure. Some selections will be sure to surprise you but once again, you’ll have to listen in to find out just which previews made their top 10 to see which ones you’re going to check out on youtube. Finally, in the post credits scene of this episode, our pseudo-Siskel and erroneous Ebert line up what is on tap for the next installment’s coming attractions. A Conversation with Dagan Moriarty
Whether he’s working long hours animating for the Emmy award winning children’s television show Sesame Street or flying across the country to record with his brother on the popular retro and nostalgia themed podcast CLS Knockback, the enormously talented Dagan Moriary never fails to be a pleasant and charming and full of warmth. So we were overjoyed when the Dagan accepted our invitation to join us and chat about his personal and professional life. Avid listeners of CLS Knockback already know the eldest sibling of four is pretty tight with his family. So it’s no surprise to learn that before styling the iconic quaff of Miami Vice star Don Johnson in the early 1980’s, it was his grandfather who taught the budding artist how to draw Mickey Mouse and make a crayon do things that seemed like magic to a young impressionable Dagan. Leading up to his success at Sesame, we learned about his work on the popular series of computer video games Leisure Suit Larry as well as his experience working on The Mr. Men Show over at Cartoon Network. But there’s much, much more that I’m not going to spoil here. If you want to hear about the first ever arcade cabinets Dagan remembers seeing or which classic video game sprites he thinks are the coolest OR IF he knows everything a nerd ought to know about his hometown of Long Island, NY you’re just gonna have to tune in!

Cinemasters: 10 Great Remakes, Reboots and Re-imaginings | Rad Dads (Batman, Monster Squad)
Hey there boys and girls and welcome back to another exciting episode of Cinemasters of the Universe! In Episode XI (that’s eleven of you’re counting) which we’ve dubbed the Moonraker of the series we’ve got a lot to cover. Our heroes Reel to Reel Ron and Coming Attractions Adam five right in with a Rad Dads for the ages. Ron shares a Father/Son moment over the 1989 Tim Burton Batman with a 4K 30th Anniversary edition. This dives our fellas into a rousing conversation about the caped crusader’s first big screen foray as the true Dark Knight. Adam and his boys found out that the Wolfman does, in fact, have nards in the 80’s classic “Monster Squad”. But to find out if the guys are Rad Dads or not. Then after the coming attractions is the Feature Presentation and in this installment our Cinemasters will be giving us 5 of their favorite reboots, remakes and re-imaginings of previously made films. With Nostalgia in full effect these days, the popular route these days is for a studio to take what we love and see if they can do it again. Sometimes it’s a win and sometimes it’s a Will Smith Genie...but no matter how you slice it, it’s the way of the cinematic world today. Ron and Adam take turns giving us their top picks and you can see how their lists stack up against your own. Finally there’s a teaser trailer (of sorts) for a new segment the Cinemasters are introducing. The price of admissions to this show is free and you’re going to be involved. On the next episode the guys will be unveiling a Trivia game for their (and your) enjoyment. You’ll have to tune in to find out exactly how it works on the next exciting adventures of the CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE!!!

10 More Board Games We Love
Ron has a hankering' for Cracker Barrel, Nick loves his video game and TV show-themed boards and Mark isn't giving up his game show inspired sets anytime soon. When it comes to the nostalgic feels there's nothing like some good old fashioned, sitting at the dining room table with family and friends, board game action. And for this week's episode we invited a family and a friend over, Mark Baker-Wright, to talk about 10 board games we love(d). Speaking of Mark and TV shows, we also get an inside glimpse of what it's like to try out to be a contestant on Press Your Luck in 2019.
Cinemasters: 10 Great Movie Soundtracks | Recasting Star Wars: Attack of the Clones and Forrest Gump
The boys are back in our TENTH EPISODE! We made it to double digits and we are darn proud of it. To go along with it, we’ve got a whole new set for the Cinemasters to broadcast from and we think you’ll love the new digs. Picking up where we left off, our Cinemasters have been tasked with recasting two iconic films. Ron challenged Adam to recast the dismal Star Wars prequel often mocked for its CGI Pear scene, “Attack of the Clones” and Adam viciously assaulted Ron by demanding he recast the beloved Tom Hanks in one of his greatest roles ever, Forrest Gump. Both of our heroes made some interesting and bold choices in their recasting and we think you’ll be surprised and pleased with the results. From there we move on to our Main Event which should be music to your ears. Dust off your Discman as our Cinemasters go through 10 of the greatest movie soundtracks of all time. Disclaimer: These are not the TOP TEN of all time as that’s simply too big of an undertaking. The fellas recall some great moments in movie history set to some of their favorite tunes and we are confident you’ll be pleased with their selections. Before long you’ll be rummaging around in your old CD cases looking for some of your favorite movie tunes as well. Finally we round out the podcast with a tried and true classic at this point, Rad Dads (This is where you insert the “Excellent” from Bill and Ted). Ron is very excited to showcase his selection as it’s a film very near and dear to his heart that he’s got a fantastic new 4K release to share with his kids. Adam recently re-discovered a bygone classic from the 80’s he’s not seen himself in at least a couple of decades. Will our hopeful heroes be able to wow their progeny once more and maintain their status as Rad Dads or will this be the time they finally get dubbed a Bad Dad. You’ll have to tune in to our next exciting installment of CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE!!!!
Cinemasters: 10 Best SNL Movies Starring Cast Members Past or Present
Welcome back to another exciting installment of Cinemasters of the Universe! In Episode 9 we see the Rise of the Cinemasters as they change things up a bit with the visual aesthetic. What Adam lacks in overall appeal and personality, Ron more than makes up for in technical ability and general likability. Our heroes kick off this episode with another round of “WHAAAAT??? You haven’t seen _______”. This time Ron is going over his experience with Tom Hanks and his crazy “Bachelor Party” antics, pre “Man with One Red Shoe” fame. Adam is giving us the low down on a nitty gritty cop flick with Gene Hackman and Roy Scheider called “The French Connection”. You’ll have to see what these fellas have to say about their films of bygone era and whether or not you should check them out too. Then we get into our main event as always. The boys will be covering the films of SNL fame. This doesn’t just include the movies that have been specifically produced by Saturday Night Live but rules that Ron and Adam arbitrarily, but thoughtfully, put in place to determine an “SNL Alum” flick. For Ron it was any film with at least two SNL Alumni members in predominant roles. Adam skewed it similarly but his rules were any film that included at least 3 SNL cast members, former or present. To avoid overlap and give you a true top 10 from our Cinemasters, they each concocted a list greater than 5 so they could pivot on a dime and give you, the viewer, just what you needed. Finally we round out this episode with another installment of “Who Played it Better?” where Ron and Adam challenge each other to recast a film to see if they are up to the challenge of executing an award winning casting call or not. The boys really stuck it to each other with this round and it will be compelling to see how each of them handles it. I’m not going to tell you what they picked for each other, you’ll simply have to tune in and see how things unfold in this episode of CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE!!!
BitGeek E3 2019 Prediction Show
It's Christmastime for gamers as E3 2019 is just days away and the BitGeek crew has come together once again to see if they can't predict what Nintendo and Microsoft (and maybe others) have in store for us.
Cinemasters: Our 10 Favorite Animated Films, Rad Dads (E.T. and The Mighty Ducks)
Ok kids, this is the big one. Episode 8. This is the one where a portion of you will hate us so much you organize a petition to erase this episode from our canon simply because we killed off Luke Skywal….oh crap. I gave away the ending. Dang it. Well, you should still watch/listen because there’s other really compelling stuff in this podcast too. Like….uh….RAD DADS! Yeah, we did a Rad Dads and oh man are you gonna love it. Ron watched E.T. the Extra Terrestrial (not like that’s redundant, Mr. Spielberg…) and I don’t like to throw around things like “Game Changer” because it seems like that’s just too played out these days but boy was this a game changer. Adam shared a tremendous moment with his kids by showing them the immortal classic The Mighty Ducks. Now we only have to ask the question, “Were our Cinemasters Rad Dads or Bad Dads?” You’ll soon find out. Then we jump into a topic that will bring out the kid in all of us. Our multiplex masters are covering their top 5 animated films of all time. This is a big deal because let’s face it, there’s a ton of cartoon flicks out there and narrowing it down to just 5 is a bit of an undertaking. How will the boys do it? Will they go old skool or new? Will there be too much CGI? Does Green Lantern count since a good portion of Ryan Reynolds IS technically animated? These are all questions you weren’t even thinking until you read them out loud to a crowded room of elderly people you read to on occasion. But now you’re all curious and that means I’ve done my job. Finally we round out the broadcast with a rousing round of WHAAAAT? You haven’t seen ______?? This is steadily rising in the charts as a fan favorite. In case you’re one of the countless newbies to our steadily seasoning endeavor, each of our fellas takes a flick they’ve never seen (or maybe has but its been a good minute or two) that you’d assume they had seen or maybe just that they’ve always meant to but never got around to it. Ron chooses…oh wait. You almost got me there. I’m not doing the big reveal. You’ll have to watch or listen to find out. On the edge of your seat? Well sit back a bit, its the CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE!
Cinemasters: Most Anticipated Summer Movies of 2019 / Who Played it Better (Breakfast Club, Silence of the Lambs)
In this installment our boys are busting out a brand new segment called who played it better. If you recall in our last episode Ron challenged Adam to recast the classic thriller “Silence of the Lambs”. Adam returned the volley with an 80’s classic to find new, young talent for “The Breakfast Club”. Whatever you do, don’t check his browser history, folks. After this interesting change of pace we revisit a formula that worked for our Cinemasters once before. They’re going through the most anticipated theatrical releases this summer as they countdown their Top 5 films for June through August. What makes this episode even more special than the others is the fact that Ron has “had a few drinks” and is nearly unfiltered. The laughs don’t stop as we visit 10 different summer hits. Finally we round it out with a fan favorite, Rad Dads. Both of our dads are on a roll. Can they keep their rad status alive? Will they select all together wildly inappropriate films to watch with their children? Just how many Zimas DID Ron have? If you want to know the answers to these questions and so very many more you’ll think of while you watch them, be sure to tune in to Episode 7: The Force Rests It’s Eyes, It’s Not Sleeping of THE CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE!!!!

Predicting the 20 Remaining Games for the SEGA Genesis Mini
Ever since the announcement of the SEGA Genesis Mini, SEGA has been drop feeding the announcement of 10 games at a time. To date half of those games have been revealed, but we thought it would be fun to try and predict which other 20 games will be in store for the nostalgia hungry SEGA fans. Will the final list be a love letter to it's fans (Nintendo) or will SEGA spit in the face of it's fans (SONY)?
Cinemasters: The Evolution of The Superhero Movie (1950's - 2008)
The place is England. The Year is 787. Our Cinemasters are embroiled in the fight of their life. Each of them have selected a movie they've somehow never actually seen and challenged themselves to do the unthinkable. Watch. That. Movie. Ron has selected a classic piece of theatrical genius and has enriched his mind, body and soul with the wisdom contained within. Adam watched a movie with people who do stuff and its pretty alright. They'll tell you things about these movies but if you want to know just what it is that they watched...you'll have to tune in to see the big reveal. Once you've managed to navigate the enthralling nature of their distinguished tales of motion picture glory, you're in for a real treat this time kids. These boys are marching their way through superheroes/comic book lore as it plays out on the silver screen through the decades. You'll laugh. You'll cry. If you don't pay close attention to your bladder, there's a good chance you could inadvertently wet yourself with sheer delight. These two brothers really know their stuff when it comes to movies about guys in tights and capes. They have a strong bond. You'll get lost in the discussion just as they do and wind up feeling significantly enriched by their nuggets of....well lets just say there's things that could be nuggets and you'll probably get them. Finally you'll be privy to a BRAND NEW SEGMENT! These boys are on a roll this week, I tell you what. This time they are challenging each other to recast a classic film and bring back their new picks for starring roles in a couple iconic movies in what is being called "Who Played it Better?" Its going to be a case of original cast vs. the best these guys can come up with so make sure you adjust your expectations accordingly on this installment of CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE!!!!
Cinemasters: Our Favorite Years in Movies and Rad Dads
As we last left our heroes they were embroiled in another fantastic quandary of whether or not they were, in fact, Rad Dads. This cliffhanger ending (nearly 2 months ago) had us on the edge of our seats as Ron, our Courageous Cinematic Commander, and Adam, the Plucky Theatric Rascal, vowed to bring two classic films from the annals of their infancy in filmdom to the forefront of their own children’s theatrical education today. This is always a risky endeavor as some films don’t have the movie magic to pass the test of time. How will their families respond? Are Ron and Adam Rad Dads or Bad Dads? You’ll have to watch or listen to find out. But the fun doesn’t stop there. Once we get their full check in from that mission its straight on to the next. This time the boys decided to pick their favorite year in movies. For these fellas we knew it was going to be difficult as that’s a lot of years of movie watching. You might be surprised where they land and even more surprised as they burn through 10 movies a piece. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry. You might get up for a bathroom break as these guys can really talk about movies for a long time. No matter what you do, you’ll be sure to enjoy this fun jaunt down memory lane. And just before you know it, we’re right back to another teaser. These two certainly do like to keep us in bittersweet anticipation of what they’ll do next. It’s a reprisal of a popular segment they did before. “WHAAAT? YOU HAVEN’T SEEN THAT???” pops back up for them to each pick a movie, recent or not, famous or not, that they’ve always meant to see and haven’t yet. To see what they pick you’ll have to watch or listen and to see what they SAY about those movies you’ll just have to tune in next time to the CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE! Ohh boy, this time around these guys are doin…doin some crazy movie stuff. They’re gonna tell you guys how things with Rad Dads went with their kids when they watched their Rad Dad movies. You’ll be totally blown away by just what they say about that whole thing. They’re gonna tell you which movies they watched and then even some more information about how their families and kids responded to those movies that they picked out and watched. Its gonna blow your minds wide open. Then after that part is done they’re gonna move on to a whole other part and guess what that has in it? Even more movie talk, you know? It’s all movies all the time with these two guys and this time they are going to talk about their favorite years for movies. When you hear what years they picked out and talked about movies from those years you won’t even believe it when you hear them talking. Oooohwee! Finally once they’re done with that part they’re gonna tease you one more time with something else, another movie thing to tease like with a movie teaser kind of thing, you know? And this time they’re doing another one of those “Wow, you haven’t ever seen this movie before? I can hardly believe that you haven’t seen it since you watch so many movies” or whatever they call it. But they each pick a movie to go back and watch and you’ll hardly even believe it when you hear the movies they picked out. So just strap in and just buckle up for a whole big bunch of excitement when you watch or listen to the newest podcast from the Cinemaster of the Universe. Aww geez.
Interview with Arcadeaholics Makers of Cosmotrons (Arcade)
The 2019 Louisville Arcade Expo had its share of highlights but for us the biggest may have been the surprise inclusion of, what we described as, "Multiplayer Asteroids" and "Asteroids Battle Royale". The game was called Cosmotrons and the makers were a two-person developer team based out of Wisconsin. Joining us for this episode we have those two very talented gentlemen, Shane Gutbrod AKA "Cosmo-Shane" and Dave Furrer AKA "Dave-o-Tron" on the show to talk about their company, the game we loved, what games they grew up playing and much, much more.
Cinemasters: Most Anticipated Movies of March, April and May 2019
Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls. Please gather round for another exciting installment of THE CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE! In this latest edition we are lovingly subtitling "A New Hope" we find our heroes Ron Avis and Adam Peterson wrestling with a new foe. They take on the idea that somehow there is a classic movie, new or old, that they've not seen. Shudder! In a new segment titled "WHAAAAAAAAT?? You've not seen that? The boys each pick a movie considered some kind of classic and purposefully sit down for a viewing. Once those coming attractions have concluded we move directly into the main event. Ron and Adam go through the films coming to theaters between March and May to hand pick their most anticipated picks this spring. Certainly the Superhero genre with the likes of "Captain Marvel" "Shazam!" and "Avengers: Endgame" are all automatic picks so they make the cut regardless. But the boys react to trailers live as they make their way through each of their top 5's. Finally we conclude the feature with the post credits teaser. This time they're circling back to defend their statues as Rad Dads! Will their selections be epic or will they end up as Bad Dads? You'll have to stay tuned to the very end to see what they've lined up for episode five. There will be laughter. There may be tears. We might even have a special guest pop in for a visit. You never quite know just what could happen when you're dealing with THE CINEMASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE (cue echo and fog machine)
A Tribute to the Original Xbox
Microsoft saw what Sony did to Nintendo and SEGA, soundly defeating one titan while putting another out of the hardware business for good and they figured, "why not us?" The Xbox may have seemed like a novelty when it first launched in 2001, but despite soft sales in Japan, the west seemed to dig what Microsoft had to offer. For the first time PC gamers were taking notice of what consoles could be like with first person shooters playable with a controller *GASP* and not a mouse and keyboard. Oh, not to mention, changing the way we all play games online with Xbox Live. Join Nick and Ron as they pay tribute to the original Xbox.
