“coming through to the other side” is more than an album — it’s a living archive of transformation. This 23-track experience weaves together sounds shaped by years of personal and artistic evolution. Each piece holds fragments of emotion, resilience, and metamorphosis. Some tracks emerged from Evlov’s archives and were expanded upon, while others were born in moments of solitude, reflection, and renewal. Together, they form a cohesive whole — a musical bridge from past to present, from inward searching to outward clarity and resilience. With signature ambient textures, downtempo grooves, soul-nourishing atmospheres, and cinematic sonic journeys, Evlov invites listeners into a space where time dissolves and feeling leads. The experience is both deeply personal and universally resonant. Designed to be experienced as a continuous flow, Coming Through to the Other Side unfolds like a story — carrying the listener from one emotional landscape to the next with seamless grace. It’s a sonic journey that invites repeat listening, revealing something new each time. Whether you’re moving through a turning point or simply seeking peace in sound, this eclectic tapestry becomes a field guide — for those who’ve traveled far, and those just beginning to cross. Old track I produced around 2007 - 2009. Looking forward to having this one on an album someday! Who knows... maybe a version of "Eclectica" (an album that I would create and burn via CD back in the day) can show up someday! Enjoy the sonic journey!

Getting Deep
After a long break from his last full-length release, Evlov (Robert Alexander) was gearing up for a massive LP release. Somehow this EP had to make its way before the bigger album! Full of nostalgia, textures, acoustics and sonic journeys, "Thank You For Listening" brings you on a journey that Evlov has been wanting to take you on for quite some time. You will appreciate the soothing sounds, bumpin' beats and melodic textures that will take you to another level of listening pleasure. Inspired by various artists like Tycho, Christopher Willits, Underworld, Charles Webster and Four Tet, you will be surprised to hear a different direction that Evlov has taken for this release. This sonic journey will most likely want you begging for more. This is just a taste of what will be released in the near future. 2021 was a massive year for change. May this release take you on a journey that serves you in ways that work best for you. Indeed, this is an album that reflects promise, motivation, strength and hope. After all, you so got this! And... with all that being said... literally... "Thank You for Listening!" credits released December 11, 2021 Evlov (Robert Alexander) - Programming, Producing, Mixing and Mastering on all tracks except: Welker Road - Live Impromptu Jamming with Guitar on "Between The Lines" (Track 5) Thank you so much to Welker Road for being one of the inspirations for this release. Also a special thank you to Tara Green for the motivation for inspiration for the commitment to record/produce every morning (for a long while). More special thank you's to Ginger Adam Little, Richard Slade, Kaisa Tokoi, Terri and George Kursar, Todd Williams, Freddie Grant, Don Estes, Allanah Hunt, Janessa Rose, Jake Alexander, KB (you know who you are), Cory Warfield, Lisa Ma, Brian Whitten and the many others who have believed in my craft. And... how can I not forget my amazing mother? I love you! And thank you everyone for being you. Times haven't been easy and I invite you to take each day to celebrate where you are, how far you've come and where you are going. You are amazing... truly! Keep up the great work!

Chilly (2020 Teaser)
Been working on my new album and felt called to upload this sound sketch. This was initially created in March of 2016 and it's slowly being built out. I think that you will appreciate the nostalgia influences and the power of the cinematic effect. If you're into a piece of music that spans across multiple genres, I think that you will appreciate this gem of a recording! Enjoy the journey! - Robert (Evlov)
Mellow (remastered) - Unreleased
This track was found in my archives. I created it on Acid Pro back in 2004 on my PC. I used an old Yamaha keyboard that my grandmother gifted me that was made in the 1980's and all of the other loops were provided by Acid Pro. This track definitely takes you on a journey - you can definitely listen to this and feel it's direction - leading you into a space that can help you fly while on the ground!
Beginning A Year
This track I produced on 1/01/09 - new years day. This track definitely has a story! - It was the day of my first 'DJ lesson' in Studio City. I was taught by DJ Miss Adventure. She convinced me that 'Reason was unreasonable' and 'Logic was illogical'. She was originally supposed to help me learn my MIDI DJ controller and she was better with good ol' fashioned decks. This track definitely shows that Reason is NOT unreasonable! This song got airplay on a college radio station and many people definitely appreciated the song at the time it was released!!
Slow Mover (Single)
A new single that was released in late June 2020. If you love Chillout, Drum & Bass, Downtempo and Lounge - I think that you'll appreciate this homage to genres that are uniquely innovative and highly influential in my life. I hope this song brings flow, wonder, happiness and inspiration to you - especially during these dynamic times. This will be on my next full-length studio album. Stay tuned, thanks for your patience for new music! I so appreciate your support and interest in what I do! - With Gratitude - Robert (Evlov)

The Day I Heard That MA Jorge Transitioned
Sometimes we are given news that a well regraded one has transitioned. This song is to commemorate a soul that made a massive impact in the AA / MA community. You will hear an intentional moment of silence in the song that is given to him. The sonic journey may sound dark at times but also with glimmers of hope, warmth and regard. Rest in peace Jorge! May your memory be remembered by the many that you have touched!
intentional
This music reminds me of various electronic music. Four-Tet and Radiohead definitely inspired me to create this one. This will be on an upcoming album release!
Turn It Down And Wrap It Up - Vocal Mix (demo)
A track inspired by motivation, todays times and remember how to stay true to ourselves, realizing our own vibration, frequency and knowing that we have what it takes to accomplish what we desire in life - no matter what! If you are into dub, chill out and downtempo, this is the song for you. I produced everything and yes! That is me on the vocals!
a song for mel (uncut)
This is a new song off my long-awaited upcoming album. I have been deeply inspired by artists like Four Tet, Bonobo, Helios, Tycho, Christopher Willits, BT, Aphex Twin and many others who follow their hearts and intuition. These types of artists / producers think outside the box and create a unique sound that is not easy to 'pigeonhole' into a certain category or genre. There are many others who operate in this similar capacity and my heart goes out to you. If you are reading this and are one of these amazing music artists / producers, please know I am walking alongside you and proud to join you by your side. Wherever you are in the world, may this song not only be for Mel - may it be for all of you who are following your heart and intuition. You are doing an amazing thing! Keep up the great work and shine brightly - day or night!
Ground: Immersion 1.0 (Sonic Journey)
This sonic journey is specifically designed to help you find peace, calm, relaxation and grounding. Highly recognized as a 'digital immersion', this piece is structured to take you into a space where you can allow mother nature, ambient textures and organic instruments to help you create the wellbeing as desired. Best listened to with headphones, a comfortable space and an open mind. Enjoy the sonic journey! - LifeRhythms - Your Life. Your Rhythm. - www.liferhythms.us
not professional
An old track that i made back in April of 2004 under the moniker "Genre". I felt inspired to upload a old track that pays tribute to a life that is more alive and aligned for myself. This is encouragement for others who desire to walk away from people, places and circumstances that are not serving them in their most highest aliveness and capacity. Just remember - it's not professional!!
music to help heal the common cold - 528 hz
This music is designed to help heal the common cold. As I created this music, I was under the weather and have felt my symptoms improve! It's a great idea to listen to this as you are laying down and ideally with a pair of headphones. You can play it softly in the background. I invite you to close your eyes and take in the powerful frequencies that have been created. The intention to help you receive reprieve and a full healing. The music is no substitute for professional medical care and hopefully this helps you in your healing process! You deserve it! If you have any questions, please feel to reach out through here or via website! Hope you are feeling better and have a speedy recovery!
