Ep. #20 - Talkin' Animation with an Animator
Nashville artist and animator Katie Callahan joins us for episode 20 to talk about the art of animation. Katie graduated from the Art Institute of Tennessee, Nashville, with a degree in Media Arts and Animation. Ep. #04 - Netflix Original Series
Netflix has quite the abundance of viewing material, both from their streaming services as well as their DVD mail order service. However, their original series have taken over these past few years as their bread and butter. In today's episode, we discuss how Netflix has broken the mold as a streaming service, successfully transitioned into being a provider of original content, and changed the way we consume entertainment. We also came up with our own top 5 favorite Netflix Original Series. In addition to today's topic, we started a new segment (name pending, Nerdy News Update maybe?) where we each talk about something that's been in the news of geek-media.

A few weeks ago, Nintendo had their big unveiling of their new console called the Switch. Although it seems pretty neat on surface level, once we looked a bit closer, we noticed a few things that could present some issues with the new gaming system. Ep. #02 - The Future of Star Wars

Ep. #01 - Originals In Cinema
Hello everyone! Our main topic today is about original films. I thought it would an appropriate topic since this is our first episode, and originals and beginnings kind of go hand in hand. We’re living in a world where original screenplays are few and far between. Most of what we see in theaters nowadays are movies based on books/comic books, reboots, or sequels. Don’t get me wrong, we all love these movies, and there’s very little that will keep us from continuing to see these films. However, it is a sad fact that original films could be considered a dying breed. Today, we’re going to dedicate our very first episode to originals in cinema.
