I am a retired Kentucky State Police Master Trooper with 24 1/2 years of experience working as a road Trooper, Accident Reconstructionist, Defensive Tactics and ASP Instructor, and Dignitary Protection for two Governors. I retired with no intention of returning to police work, but a chance encounter with the sheriff in my county led me to take a School Resource Officer position in 2023 in an elementary school.
