Many reports, opinions, and prejudices exist about migrants, but they rarely have their say about themselves. Therefore, we, an organization of and for migrants, would like to offer a sustainable contribution to a critical debate on racism. The new magazine MigranTh is intended to document and archive life stories that represent a colorful, cosmopolitan and diverse Thuringia. The focus is on biographies and life paths that enrich and help shape our society. We also present associations and companies that have been built up by people from different regions of the world and today make an important economic or civic contribution. In this way, we give migrants in Thuringia a face. The magazine aims to break down prejudices and make the results available for scientific research. For each new edition, a presentation event is planned. The first issue of MIGRANTh is scheduled for publication at the end of 2022, with regular publication planned from 2023.
