Pauly's headed to the Playoffs in both Leagues!
So we start the episode with the college football portion, and Jeff Kersey picked ALL games correct AND the risk reward for 210 points, so he chose the risk/reward for the first round of the playoffs as which of the 8 teams playing has the most rushing yards. No Bonehead this week though from Shane. In the NFL portion of the show, Derek limps into the playoffs in the ESPN league suffering his 3rd straight loss to finish 10-4 overall. And Derek also wins his 2nd in a row in the Sleeper leauge to clinch the final playoff spot at 7 -7. Dan Herron had the highest point total for week 14 and let his son, Sam choose the risk/reward for week 15 as which team has the most 1st down conversions between Detroit, Jacksonville, and Tennessee. I also express my disdain for those who play in a fantasy football league and quit early on. Hope you enjoy!

Pauly was perfect in his NFL Pickems as well as in the Sleeper League
I didn't watch much college other than the Georgia Tech-Georgia game and some of the Tennessee-Vanderbilt game. But boy, Melanie finished off the regular season with the highest score of the week and chose a good risk/reward heading into the conference championships week. I drop 2 straight in my ESPN Fantasy League, but I am still in 2nd place at 10-3. I went 16 for 16 and got the risk/reward as far as NFL Pickems go for myself and Nick and Adam's league. I also won in the Sleeper League to improve to 6-7, 2nd overall in my division, so not horrible. I can't complain, going 16-10 in both leagues isn't bad, it averages out to 8-5 in both leagues. Hope you enjoy the episode!

Had the guys from "CFB in NC" on for the episode!
So for this episode, I had both Nick Mason and Adam Creason from their podcast/project "CFB in NC" where they preview/recap all 14 FBS/FCS colleges here in the "Old North State". If you like what you hear regarding their show here on Pauly's Pickems, head on over, and show them some love on their podcast! I did not mention how everyone did this past week, or say who had the Bonehead Award, but if you are curious on how that went, head on over to the Facebook page to catch up. Hope you enjoy the episode!

You're feeling pretty good if you have Ja'Marr Chase on your Fantasy roster
So I recapped what happened in the NCAA and NFL this week. Technically Tyler had the highest score in the NCAA and NFL this week, but I mistakenly gave the NCAA to Adam. Tyler was a good sport about it so we will roll with it. And as you can see in the title of the podcast, Ja'Marr Chase went off for over 55 points, and was one of the reasons I lost by over 100 points in the Sleeper League to fall to 4-6, but I am 9-1 in the ESPN league. Hope you all enjoy the episode!

Dropping names in the podcast, like I'm dropping in the Sleeper Fantasy League
So I'm doing decent in both of my Pickems, exceptional in the ESPN Fantasy League, but not so good in Pauly's Probables, or the Sleeper Fantasy League. I was able to watch some college football this past weekend, and talked about it in the show. Not so much with the NFL, but that's ok, I kept up with the scores. I ended up dropping a lot of names in this podcast and I am not sponsored by them, nor am I getting any kickbacks...just trying to help steer some traffic their way. Names include: Ryan Frick and Bill Tomer of the Tapouts and Touchdowns podcast; Desmond Johnson, the main producer of Tobacco Road Sports Radio; Nick Mason and Adam Creason of their newest podcast they started this year CFB in NC; Michael Davis, the CEO of Boom Broadcasting and host of Outta Pocket with Michael Davis, and Shannon Smith with his podcast Quick Hits on Boom Broadcasting as well. Hope you all enjoy this episode! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

Finally get a win in the Sleeper Fantasy app; my college picks however...
Well I mention that Tyler Hutton won the NCAA Pickems this past week, an Brad Betts won the NFL Pickems this past week, and both gentlemen chose pretty good risk rewards. I shortened the NFL portion of the podcast considerably by not mentioning who scored what on the starting lineup and bench for each individual. Instead I mention why you don't draft a kicker in the early rounds. The individual that chose a kicker (Justin Tucker) is only averaging better than Jaylen Warren, who by the way is no longer on anyone's roster. I end the podcast mentioning that Adam won the previous week's Pauly's Probables and chose individual that they think will either meet or not meet their projections. Hope you enjoy the episode. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

The Sleeper league is more competitive than the ESPN league, that's for sure!
No co-host for this episode, so it was fairly short. I mention the NCAA scores, and a couple of the upsets that happened this past weekend. The bulk of the show focused on the NFL and both fantasy leagues that I'm in. I'll be 2-3 in the Sleeper league and 4-1 in the ESPN league. Forgot to mention Pauly's Probables, but B. Michael Davis holds a slight lead over everyone else, percentage wise. Hope you enjoy the show! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

Back with William after a 2 week hiatus
Had first time guest, William Dunn, an Alabama fan on. We talked a little about the NFL/Fantasy, but mostly talked about college. We were all over the place due to me, so I will try and fix that going forward. I had fun talking with William, and look forward to doing it again in the future! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

First Week of Fantasy Football was not kind to Pauly
I totally whiffed on mentioning Pauly's Probables and how Michael Davis of Boom Broadcasting had a perfect week (6-0) over everyone else that is playing. No guest this week, so I was going solo. I mention some of the NCAA, such as the games and the Bonehead Award. I mainly focus on the NFL and you'll hear that in this episode. Hope you enjoy! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

Mixing it up with Melanie after NCAA week 1
I give the floor to Melanie, and we talk about how Mike Leach's death affected the Mississippi State culture, realignment, and end with who we hope will have a breakout season for both of our teams. A lot to digest, but a good episode nonetheless --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

What the Tuck?!
So I was in 2 Fantasy Football drafts this past weekend, and I swear it seems like a running joke that some bonehead selects kicker Justin Tucker WAY earlier than they should and I make mention of that on the podcast. Also, I talk about a couple of notes I've made about each draft, give you all my round-by-round picks, as well as tell you who is interested in some of my draft picks (but I am NOT gonna offer a trade seeing as how the season hasn't even started yet). Hope you enjoy! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

Pauly talks high school football in this shorter episode
Full disclaimer, Spotify for Podcasters no longer lets users record/edit profiles, so I am using Riverside and Podcastle instead. I apologize ahead of time for the long pauses, and hopefully will be better in the future! With that being said, when my work schedule allowed me to watch high school football, way back when, most of my Friday nights were spent at West Montgomery High School in North Carolina watching my alma mater play. I've also been to the cities of Robbins, Albemarle, and New London to watch high school football games. I talk some about East and West Montgomery's football records before they consolidated into Montgomery Central before the 2019 season, and talk about a few notable players from 1A football here in the Tar Heel State. Hope you enjoy! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

Adam wins the 2nd installment of spring football on Pauly's Pickems
Unfortunately, Adam had extenuating circumstances that prevented him from being on the last episode. However, Shannon Smith (@podcast_smitty) from the "Cat Cave" part of the Keep Pounding Podcast Network powered by the Fans First Network was gracious enough to come on and talk some UFL and who he thinks got snubbed on offense. I had a great time with Shannon, just like I have with Adam all UFL season. It's been a blast to have guests on Pauly's Pickems throughout the years, hearing different perspectives and chatting others up has been fun. Once again, congrats to Adam Creason for winning the 2nd spring football Pickems! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

Michael Davis from "Outta Nowhere"
There were only 2 games to talk about, so Adam and I promoted a few things going on. Adam and Nick have a podcast coming out, and I promoted Zach Cremer and his son Eli with their YouTube channel dedicated to Pokémon. We touch on the viewing audience and how they were in years past compared to this year, we hit on the games, and finally we end with Adam asking me a version of "Would You Rather?". A very fun episode once again. We hope you enjoy! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

Adam gets all the R/Rs correct for Week 10
My co-host Adam did amazing this week, and will choose the R/R for the conference championships for the USFL and XFL divisions. You'll also hear who we think would benefit to stay in the UFL for QB, RB, WR, TE, as well as what teams we'd retire from this season and what former teams we'd resurrect from the past. All in all it was prob one if our best episodes, so take a listen! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

4 Way tie for 2nd Place!
Well we all picked the correct teams, but Derek got 3 of 4 risk/rewards correct. However, Derek let Adam, Brad, and Michael Davis pick the risk/rewards this upcoming week. We also talked about our teams we'd promote/relegate to the NFL/UFL. Do you agree or disagree? And finally we end with our perspective with regards to streaming services and the NFL, possibly college football, and the UFL in the future. Hope you all enjoy the podcast! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

Mother's Day provided low scores this week!
Well the highest score this week was 30, had by myself and Brad Betts. Our first topic was who should be promoted to the NFL from the UFL and vice versa. Our picks may surprise you. Next we discussed if a Bonehead Award would be appropriate for the league, maybe/maybe not. And finally we end with recapping the games and risk/rewards. Hope you enjoy! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

No perfect week, but everyone had 30 points and above!
So Adam and I pick up where we left off as far as the spreads go for our adopted teams, Birmingham and Memphis (which Birmingham easily covered). We then chose players from different teams that were doing well. Adam chose Wes Hills of Michigan and I chose Malik Fisher of DC. Pretty interesting conversation there. Finally we end with the recaps of the games, and who picked the risk/rewards correctly, and I mention the risk/rewards for Week 7. We hope you enjoy! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

Halfway point with our mid-season grades
Adam and I give our grades to Matt Corall and Vinny Papale. They're underwhelming to say the least. We then talk possible playoff scenarios (way too early might I add). Finally we finish up with the risk/rewards for the past week and what Shannon chose this week. Really bo recaps because we talked so much about the games throughout. Enjoy! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

Brad Betts gets the first perfect week!
Well the guys touch on how they like the "peek behind the curtain" in regards to the sideline reporters talking with players/coaches after scores or big plays, and how we both like listening to the replay officials talk with the officials in the field. We also have a brief convo on notable injuries so far. We also talk some wrestling on here (as we are both fans) and eventually end with the scores, risk/rewards and recaps of the games. Brad Betts had the best score with 85 points, while Derek brings up the rear with 20...still some games left to be played. Hope you enjoy! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

Nick fills in for Derek for episode 4
The "Cheering from the Cheap Seats" crew talk some UFL that happened this past week. They also talk about some of the college players of the teams they support (ECU for Nick and Wake Forest for Adam. We end with the standings and the risk/rewards Adam chose. Enjoy some of the overlapping convo, I know I did! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

Week 2 of the UFL and Adam & I get the high score of the week!
So week 2 of the UFL is in the books and unfortunately it had to compete with MLB, men's Final 4, and Wrestlemania. Shannon and Michael Davis didn't make picks this week but hopefully they'll get in this upcoming week. Everyone went 2 for 4 this week for the risk/rewards and Adam let me choose the R/R for week 4. We talk 2001 XFL jersies, recap the previous week's games and R/Rs, and finish with WWE. Enjoy yourselves! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

Talk about a kick in the teeth!
Well there were a lot of surprises in week 1 of the UFL, at least for Adam and myself. We did ok with out predictions that Brad posted, and Michael Smith picked extremely well and he is currently in 1st place. We talked some about the kickoffs/extra points, uniforms, and how the fans in attendance were. Enjoy the episode, y'all! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

We have a new voice for season 3!
So for season 3 of Pauly's Pickems the Podcast, I'm joined by Adam Creason from the "Cheering from the Cheap Seats" podcast that he hosts with Nick Mason, and we start with the UFL for the 2024 season. If you're looking for an in-depth podcast, then look somewhere else. This podcast centers around my Pickems page and we are having fun and only plan on scratching the surface of what the UFL is about! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

Fantasy Wrestlemania Draft Card
I'm able to sit down with Adam and we go over our cards with each other. He definitely put a wow factor in his card. I feel as if my card is fairly solid. So who would YOU, the listeners, say had the better card? 🤔 --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

Fantasy Wrestlemania 3-Way-Draft
That's right, Adam, Nick, and myself had our Wrestlemania draft this past weekend. To give credit where credit is due, I "borrowed" this idea from Bully Ry & PJ Steven. Changed it up a bit where we allowed each other to choose tag teams as 1 pick. 25 picks apiece for 75 picks total. Who had the better draft in YOUR opinion? --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

Ryan and Derek talk wrestling with Bully Ry from June 2021
My childhood friend Ryan Kendrick and I talk WWE with the host of Tapouts & Touchdowns Mr. Ryan Frick better known as Bully Ry. Marcus is our NFL Champion -- and the Podcast will be on hiatus for a bit
Thank you everyone who was a guest this season and those who listened to a guy ramble about college and pro football! While I didn't win either college or pro this season it was fun regardless! Congrats once again to Marcus on winning the NFL portion of Pauly's Pickems. I'll be taking a sabbatical from podcasting before my son Henson James arrives, but plan on starting it up again in the future. I'm going to try and forge ahead with some XFL and USFL football, so stay tuned to the page! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

Long time player first time winner of the college portion of Pauly's Pickems!
Charles Daniel Bentley wins his first ever college portion of Pauly's Pickems! He made a run at it with strong showings in the conference championship and NY6 Bowl games. With Damar Hamlin's unfortunate condition, I'm not counting the MNF or the risk reward for week 17. We will see if Marcus can hold on to win the NFL portion of Pauly's Pickems. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

The NFL was crazy this past weekend! Had a 4 way tie for the highest score in the NFL as well!
8 people with over 100 points! George, Glen, Marcus, and Jasmine had a 4 way tie with the highest score of the week (125)! Glen picked the risk-reward for next week which is which QB will have more yards between Trevor Lawrence, Derek Carr, and Baker Mayfield. However, as far as ESPN Fantasy goes, Glen is dead last since he hasn't edited his lineup for a few weeks (3-12) and I'm currently in 11th place (4-11). Curious to see how ESPN finishes because Tyler and Bully Ry are neck and neck with Tyler in first place due to points since both gentleman share an 11-4 record. On Yahoo Fantasy I'm doing much better (10-5) and I'm a half game back from Dom and first place (10-4-1) since he tied with my sister a few weeks ago. Let's see what happens there! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

Recap for college & someone steps up for my "Open Mic" Night (Part 2)
Well, Wil and I didn't do so hot, but luckily Ben Wilson did and will be choosing the risk-reward for week15 since he had the highest score of the week (85). But I have good news--I won both games in Fantasy this week. I'm tied for 2nd in my bro-in-laws league and even though I'm dead last in my own league that correlates to this Podcast, your guy knocked off Bully Ry who was sitting with the best record in the league. Hope you enjoy the Podcast! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

Recap for college & someone steps up for my "Open Mic" Night (Part 1)
I give a recap on the college standings, and a preview of what to expect for the NY6 bowl games. Not to mention I'll be a guest for a 3rd year in a row on Bully Ry's podcast! Then I have a very insightful conversation with a brother in Christ, Wil Proctor. We talk NFL, Fantasy, and how we're doing in our leagues. A good episode for sure! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

Chris Dean redeemed himself and we had multiple Boneheads thanks to LSU!
A couple of upsets had the scores lower this week for the NCAA portion, but Chris Dean managed the highest score of the week for the NCAA. Both Brad Betts and Charles Daniel Bentley had the highest score for the NFL, so that means Brad Betts gets the Top Dog award! I won in my Fantasy league this week and lost a heartbreak to my sister in my brother-in-law's league. Looking forward to the Conference Championship games for college, are YOU? --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

Marcus continues to excel and I get animated in the NFL portion
It was a down week in college due to all of the upsets. Marcus and Shane tied with the highest college score, and Marcus had sole posession of the NFL highest score of the week. Pauly's Probables wenr 4-2 and Pauly lost in his fantasy league, and nearly lost in his brother-in-laws which he was none too happy about! Check out the episode ! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

Other than the Oregon/Washington game everyone had a great week in college!
If 44 points was the lowest score in college this past weekend, then I'd say this was a successful week in college football. William Carpenter picked the risk/reward this upcoming weekend since he had the highest weekly score. In the NFL scores were down across the board, but I was the only one to get the risk/reward correct! Charles picked the stipulation for the NFL. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the episode! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

"Sarge" steps in for George this week and we have a good conversation about possible playoff spots!
So Marcus Cassidy who has been dubbed "Sarge" by Bully Ry was the guest/co-host this week and he came prepared with how the college rankings SHOULD look. He's also sitting atop the leaderboard in the NFL Pickems but, his lead has shrunk some. David Wells had the highest score for the college pickems, Charles Bentley had the highest for the NFL, and unfortunately Brad Betts took the Bonehead Award this week. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

Abbreviated version of Pauly's Pickems due to a wedding!
I'm in Orlando for my cousin's wedding so didn't get a full show like I wanted. Its ok, my ci-host ghosted md anyway, haha. Congrats to Marcus for getting the Top Dog award, and all of the teams that won this past weekend. I'm falling to 0-8 in Fantasy, but who cares? --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

A lot of transactions going on in the NFL, but no so much on Pauly's Pickems!
Adam had our 2nd perfect week this season and also had the risk reward correct! Ben Wilson took home the Bonehead Award and Jasmine won her own Top Dog Award for having the highest combined NCAA & NFL score! Unfortunately my guest couldmsmr is this week, but we kept moving forward. Other than that it was a fun week in football! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

It feels like 1998 again -- and Derrick is able to join us for this episode!
Glen Bray wins Jasmine's Top Dog award this week! Jasmine and I finish 2nd and 3rd for that award with strong showings in the college games! Derrick and I talk about our respective teams and how we think our seasons will go, and even though I fall to 0-6 in my fantasy league, Tennessee beating Alabama this past weekend has me in a good place. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

No Derrick Myers? No problem! Plus, a couple of college games royally screwed a lot of people!
Unfortunately Derrick's couldn't make the show, but still wanted me to discuss what he wanted to talk about which was the SEC coaches and their salaries. Would we have agreed? Perhaps. Also, Shane's Bonehead Award claimed not one, but TWO people this week! Overall, the NFL was much better for everyone in general and nearly everyone had the risk/reward for the NFL correct! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

Had a great time with Melanie--and the NFL Pickems now has a 5 way tie for 4th place!
Actually had a lot of fun talking with Melanie Moody regarding Mississippi State and college football in general. I think she did a fine job. Jennifer had the first perfect week in Pauly's Pickems and chose the risk reward for week 6. Ben Wilson had the highest score for the NFL, and Jasmine M. Montgomery introduced her "Top Dog" award which combines the highest weekly score for both college and NFL which Ben won for this week. Pauly is 0-4 in his Fantasy league unfortunately, but hopes to rightbthe ship for week 5! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

It's your guy, Bully Ry, giving us some Fantasy advice on Pauly's Pickems!
Bully and I start off the college portion with the games we watched and how we felt about the outcomes. I know Bully really enjoys doing the NFL so that was the bulk of the show, but is was fun, nonetheless. Remember to also listen and follow his podcast, Tapouts and Touchdowns! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

Got to talk some college and NFL with Zach Cremer!
Had fun once again with this week's guest, Zach. Talked Hogs and Tennessee a little bit in the college portion, and how we're doing in our Fantasy leagues. Zach has played the college Pickems in the past, and even with missing a week this year he's still not in last place. I was able to squeeze Pauly's Probables and a little bit of Fantasy at the end. I hope you enjoy this week's podcast! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

Talking with Tyler -- Across the board everyone did much better than the week prior!
Had some people drop off this week in college but more people have played this week for the NFL Pickems than last year. Tyler breaks down college and the NFL and we even talk some fantasy football and how Derek would have won this week if the bench players were accounted for as well. Overall it was a fun episode! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

If your last name isn't Pauly, you did well in the NCAA portion!
My co-host didn't make it this week, so I went solo. The risk/reward did its job, as a few people benefited from and a few got screwed by the stipulation for the NCAA; better luck next time! Pauly introduced a new talking point to the NFL portion of the podcast dubbed "Pauly's Probables". Check out the podcast for more details! (Two mistakes were made in the podcast. I said 4 people chose Tulsa instead of Wyoming when it should have been the other way around; and in regards to the 2 page spread in the sports section of the newspaper, when I said it may have been 1994 when I saw all of the teams and their schedules, I would have been turning 11 that year, not 9.) --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

Pauly's Pickems is back for season 2!

Changes are on the horizon for the future!
Pauly talks about his vision for the future of the podcast. Hopefully the USFL and XFL are a viable option next spring so he won't have to rely on college baseball. New intro music will be unveiled, as well as (hopefully) new and/or recurring guests. Hope you enjoy! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

Take your self-care serious

Tyler wins the NFL Pickems, and you all learn who my 1st favorite team was
Even though Tyler didn't win the college football Pickems, he won the inaugural NFL Pickems. He helped with the scoring and came up with the risk/reward stipulation before the season started so let's give him a round of applause for that. Would love to see more people next year play! And the Buffalo Bills were my first favorite team back 30+ years ago when I was still in elementary school. I may post a picture of that later on the Facebook page Pauly's Pickems. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

Andy Mccarley from outta nowhere!
So Andy came seemingly out of nowhere to dethrone Tyler from the number one spot, claiming his first ever Pauly's Pickems title in it's 7th year. Very glad to see a long time player rewarded. I get the bonehead pick for the New Year's six bowls as well seeing as how i picked just one game correct. In the consolation bracket for Fantasy I win handily (why I didn't do this during much of the regular season, I have no clue). --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

No more Fantasy Football, but still have upcoming NCAA & NFL games
Although I fall short of going 500 in my brother-in-laws league oh, I did in the season on a high note by beating the second-place individual. Tyler had a monster week for the NFL pickems with 145 points total, so he will get to choose the risk-reward for week 17. Stay tuned next week for the conclusion of the NCAA pickems and how everyone did in the New Year's 6 bowls as well as overall! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

Part 1 of Supersized Episode 16
With no NCAA games to speak of, I invite Bully Ry of Tapouts and Touchdowns to talk about the NFL games as well as fantasy. Short(er) but not necessarily sweet(er)

The college pickems were good, but Thanksgiving didn't start out the NFL or Fantasy like I hoped.
Mitchell had the highest score of the week, just one point shy of a perfect score. Most everybody had scores in the forties and fifties, with Glen getting the bonehead pick for choosing Auburn at 10 confidence points, although at one point it looked like Auburn was going to beat Alabama. George and Tyler had the highest scores of the week for the NFL and one of them will choose the risk-reward for week 13 of the NFL pickems. Two teams that played last Thursday are also starting out this week, which are the Dallas Cowboys and the New Orleans Saints. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

It seems like smoother sailing compared to earlier on
The Pauly Pickem ship seems like it's on course now; Pauly scored in the 50s in the college Pickems, had the 2nd highest score in the NFL Pickems, and won his 2nd Fantasy game in a row. We had Melanie Moody score a perfect week in college where nearly everyone scored in the 50s as well, and Tyler retook the lead in the NFL Pickems with the best score of the week. Will the short, Thanksgiving week shake up the standings this week? Stay tuned to find out! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

I take back what I said regarding Fantasy Football
This week saw 2 winners of the highest weekly score for the college portion of Pauly's Pickems, George and Shane with 50 points, while Andy and Charles received the Bonehead PoTW for forgetting there was a Friday night game for college. Everyone had a down week for the NFL games, but Pauly finally put a winning lineup together in Fantasy and had the 2nd highest point total in the league. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

Pauly continues his slide down the standings for college & pro
Although Pauly had a down week, there are some bright spots such as last weeks Bonehead, Shane turning things around this week to have the highest weekly point total for the college Pickems, as well as George finally getting the highest weekly point total for the NFL Pickems and choosingbthe risk/reward for week 10. Hopefully in Fantasy, Derek is able to right the ship against his brother-in-law this week. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

Once again, everyone was just kinda ho-hum this week
Unlike last week, everyone didn't do as well this past week, mainly because of Kentucky and Buffalo losing in the college pickems. And we have a 3 way tie for 1st in the NFL pickems for the risk/reward. So that should be interesting to figure out! https://anchor.fm/s/45f0d83c/podcast/rss --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

F*ck fantasy football, Pauly's Pickems matters more
In this episode, Pauly laments the fact that he has suffered his 5th loss in Fantasy in a row. Two new individuals have joined both the college and NFL Pickems, and both Tyler & Jennifer are atop the college & NFL Pickems, respectfully. Enjoy! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

We have a new leader in the NFL Pickems!
For the most part, everyone did well for the college pickems; there were a lot of 50+ points weeks and Andy Mccarley had a perfect week! Derek and Jennifer tied with the highest score for the NFL Pickems, even though Derek lost his 4th game in a row for Fantasy. Come and check it out! New, Fresh Face for Pickems
As mentioned in the podcast, my childhood friend and co-host of Ryan & Derek Uncensored joins in on the fun for both college and the NFL. Alabama and BYU were the two games where everyone nearly was unanimous except Glen Bray & Charles Daniel Bentley, and the NFL picks were much better this week. Still no perfect picks for the NFL Pickems, yet. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

College Pickems did much better this week; NFL not so much
Surprisingly Amber and Glen did not make college picks this week so they slid down the rankings. Not a lot of movement yet other than Amber & Glen. As I'm #1 on the college side, I'm in last place for the NFL Pickems. Jennifer won the risk/reward and her stipulation is who will have the most passing yards between Joe Burrow, Dak Prescott, and Kyler Murray for week 5. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

Golden Gophers got everyone!
No perfect week thanks to the Golden Gophers on the college Pickem side, and not really a whole lot of movement at the top regarding the standings. Pauly also breaks down the NFL Pickems and incorporates his Fantasy along with the games this week. Not a very successful week in Fantasy for Pauly or in the Pickems for that matter as he is in last place for Pauly's Pickems NFL version. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

Mistakes and Reconciliation
In this segment, Pauly did not see Scottie Wright's picks until later but fixed the points, recaps the college and pro games and who chose which team, and finally Pauly introduces a new segment as he makes an assessment of the Fantasy football league he's in. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

A couple of shockers for the week
Pauly breaks down the college football Pickems and gives the updated standings along with the games for week 3 of the college season. Pauly also goes into the standings for the NFL version of his Pickems, gives an "Easter Egg" of Shane's risk/reward for week 2, and goes off on a small tangent regarding his fantasy football week 1 loss. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/derek-pauly/support

2nd Episode but the first weekend of football
With week one of college football in the books, I break down everyone's college week 1 picks in-depth. Unfortunately no perfect scores in week 1 due to a couple of teams losing. Also there's a quick rundown of the NFL picks for week 1 and I make a change regarding the QB who I feel has a shot at throwing for the most yardage.
