Active since the early 2000s, his musical language developed through long-term residencies and close collaborations, where continuity, flow and sound awareness became central to his practice.Grounded in house music and informed by Chicago house, garage and deep-tech traditions, Kaya’s sound is defined by restraint, groove precision and long-form progression. Atmosphere and subtle movement take priority, allowing each piece to unfold gradually rather than rely on immediate impact.His music has circulated internationally through underground networks, including an early contribution to the Skylax House Explosion project alongside artists such as Terre Thaemlitz.
