Analogue synthesizers and digital effects are built on top until his signature trance sound comes alive.Inspired by the free techno festivals in Mecklenburg where he observed how people got lost in the music led Skydrips to create music himself. Now he also wants to curate moments in which the audience might forget about the world.Skydrips is an eternal dreamer living between the city of Berlin and its close-by nature. He can be found in his studio for days but also out in the plain nature doing nothing for the same amount of time.These days everything is focused on creating music and performing it live. Growing up in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, I’ve been accompanied by the sounds and spirit of the @3000-grad Festival - and the label behind it - since my youth. This year, I had the special honor of opening the Schatzinselfloor - and with it, the festival itself. Thanks to an invitation from the wonderful @Meeresrausch Festival crew & @Meeronautenmusik, this moment became even more special, connecting two kindred musical worlds. The set flows between Chill House, Deep House, and Downtempo, woven with diverse drum grooves and warm dub elements. Sometimes driving, sometimes gentle, always carrying a feeling of openness and a hint of sea breeze.

Skydrips & Tiefe Wasser Berlin - Le Cocon
At the beginning of the year I visited Lena and Mike in their apartment in Kreuzberg. A Berlin winter day. Cold, unpleasantly grey. And to be honest, all in all, I wasn't in the best shape at that time. Visits were very selective and rare. But I felt well surrounded by my friends. There was tea, homemade waffles and we talked about anything. A great moment. A familiar moment. A safe moment. And for sure - later on, At some point in the evening we talked about music. We were quickly moving on to imaginative levels and, best of all, we were imagining ourselves in a souk in Beirut. One of the fundamental ideas in this track. This song envelops all other tracks - just like a cocoon. You know? And that's what it's all about. It is about the space you need to let go and feel comfortable.

Greg Ochman - Hili (Skydrips Extended Tropical Remix)
After a nice summer break we're back with our latest release. Greg Ochman keeps on producing astonishing records and 'Hili' is again taking our breaths away. With lush subtle sounds that breath warmth and love the English craftsman create a timeless organic house track. Add to the the catchy piano melody and special arp sounds and we have a record that will stand the test of time and will be played on many festivals to come. On remix duties we have three guys that each give their own interpretation to the original. Argentina based Valdovinos never sees to amaze and adds his recognizable organic sound, Tekniq from South Africa adds wonderful rhythms and gives extra attention to the piano and last but not least we have Germany based Skydrips who slows it down a bit and adds a tropical vibe to close off this release in the best way possible
