Failure Is Not The End

Potential
What is your potential? Potential, is commonly used in our society. We are told you are wasting your potential, you are so close to reaching your potential. We are constantly told about our potential and yet, what exactly is our potential? Potential is defined as; having or showing the capacity to become or develop into something in the future. This vague definition only gives us a glimpse into what people are telling us. We can become something in the future. However, the real question is who do you want that person to be? In this episode, we discuss what potential can be, how it can be found and shown in our lives, and when we need to embrace it.

The only thing that separates the successful from the aspiring is the mindset and skills to never give up, never quit, and never back down from the challenges of life.
Running & Returning With Vicki Hunter
Today we are hosted by Dr. Eileen Gallagher who is joined by Vicki Hunter. Vicki grew up on the East Coast, displaying a competitive spirit from an early age. Tetherball and other sports were not merely sources of enjoyment, but opportunities for her to strive for victory. Throughout her schooling, Vicki engaged in various athletic pursuits, including tennis, basketball, softball, and lacrosse. After completing her education, Vicki sought a competitive outlet and ventured into short-distance triathlons. However, her deepest affinity lay with running, leading her to focus on running races and eventually transitioning to the demanding marathon distance. In 1985, Vicki's move to Boulder, Colorado for graduate school exposed her to the world of elite running. Fortuitously, she crossed paths with numerous professional runners who graciously mentored her. Until then, Vicki had been oblivious to the existence of the Olympic Trials. Nevertheless, she resolved to qualify for the marathon trials, undeterred by the fact that her best marathon time was 3:50, over an hour slower than the qualifying mark. Through dedication, countless miles, and eighteen months of unwavering commitment, Vicki accomplished her goal in September 1987. At the Twin Cities Marathon, she clocked an impressive time of 2:49:24, securing her spot in the 1988 Olympic Trials Marathon. This qualification was a remarkable feat, but it also initiated a journey of relentless ambition and competitiveness that yielded unforeseen repercussions. In 1997, Vicki married and became pregnant. Tragically, at fourteen weeks into her pregnancy, she was involved in a single-car accident on September 11. The accident inflicted severe injuries upon her, including ten broken ribs, a broken sacrum, a broken pubic symphysis, a collapsed lung, a punctured liver, and three skull fractures resulting in a brain injury. The critical first forty-eight hours after the accident determined their survival, and the medical professionals acknowledged that Vicki's physical fitness played a pivotal role. She spent six weeks in the hospital and eventually returned home, albeit confined to a wheelchair. The ensuing five months were dedicated to regaining her strength, driven by the desire to ensure a healthy delivery for her baby. Vicki approached her due date as she would a race, constructing a recovery plan that encompassed endurance and strength training. On March 12, 1998, Jade was born, precisely on her due date. Vicki has since devoted her life to discovering the most effective recovery methods, and one of her true passions lies in sharing these insights with as many individuals as possible. She upholds a principle of personal experience, never recommending anything to her clients that she has not undertaken herself. Vicki holds her Ph.D. in Political Science and is now retired from The University of Colorado where she taught for 23 years. She is a certified Foundation Training Instructor, Level I and II as well as a Certified Lydiard Running Coach, Level II. Her book, “Running and Returning: Seeking Balance in an Imperfect World,” was published in 2022 and recounts her journey in an effort to help others learn from her experiences. Time & Energy With Dr. Eileen Gallagher
How much time do you have left? Is it at all possible to know? Tomorrow is not guaranteed, so how will you live today? The question is not IF your time on this earth will come to an end it’s WHEN. So when you leave this earth will you be able to look back and know that you gave all of your energy to something that you passionately believe in? It’s hard to hear, it’s a hard pill to swallow but we have to accept that we live in a fragile shell that can not go on forever. Don’t let fear hold you back from living life, because the only thing you should be afraid of is not living life to the fullest in every moment. Become who you want to be, be confident in what you want to do, and have a life worth living. Adventure and exploration will fill you with memories, sitting behind a screen scrolling, and typing your life away won’t.
Consistency & Contribution
How often have you pushed things to the side because you CAN do it another time? Consistency is easy, right? Well because it’s easy, it’s also easy to not stay consistent. True consistency comes into your life through the little things. The little everyday actions you take to achieve an ultimate goal. Starting is the second most important step, the biggest thing you have to prioritize is doing it, consistently. Tune in to The Final Percent Podcast episode 205: Consistency & Contribution to learn how to turn your everyday actions into priceless experiences.
Walls vs. Bridges
Do you set boundaries or are you always flexible? A saying in our community is change your standards, change your life. Now this can be a double edge sword. You may build a bridge for someone new to you when you shouldn’t or put up a wall for someone who is close to you. The key to all this is learning when is the best time to set these things in place for the people around you. How do you do that though? It can be hard to identify, tune into The Final Percent Podcast Episode 204, Walls vs. Bridges to learn how! You can find the new supplement line at: www.thefinalpercentstore.com Subscribe to the TFP RED email list at: www.thefinalpercent.com/tfpred
Envy vs. Ego
What dominos can you identify in your life? No not the pizza restaurant. The items that if you completed right now, will cause a chain reaction of positive change. Envy and your ego go hand in hand, they cause you to look at the people who have toppled their domino and think, “Well why aren’t mine falling?” You never took action. OsteoStrong: The Ultimate Biohack with Ryan VanDanyew
Welcome to our first episode featuring a new host. Dr. Eileen Gallagher has been a coach and mentor inside TFP for 4 years now. She is a medical doctor in the Boulder area and has met some fantastic people doing ground-breaking work in the area. Ryan VanDanyew is an owner of a company that has begun to assist people who are looking to change the power and strength of their everyday activities. Osteoporosis is a concern in modern times. Bone density can change through genetics as well as time. We don’t do the work to strengthen our bones and in turn, it leads to a slow decrease in bone density. OsteoStong is now biohacking for people to change that narrative. On their website, they describe their process as “OsteoStrong is a unique place where you can go to improve your overall health by focusing on the one thing we all have in common: a skeletal system. At the OsteoStrong East Boulder Center, we will work with you to help you experience a positive change to your skeletal system you will see and feel as you improve your bone density, muscular strength, balance, and overall health!” This episode provides some fascinating insights into a few of the problems people have been facing for years. Look forward to listening to more episodes hosted by Dr. Eileen Gallagher here on The Final Percent Podcast. The Butterfly Effect
We got back from Renatus Nationals last Friday and have been playing catch-up. So let's catch up! The 2023 Nationals was amazing! I had so much fun speaking on stage, meeting everyone, and getting to experience the incredible event that the Renatus team put on. During my speech I broke down the steps I took, the conversations I had and the people I meet that lead me to where I was. The thing I realized is that a chain reaction occurs in everything we do. Those chain reactions can cause major adjustments to where you are, good or bad. So the thing I started to ask myself was "How did I get here?" So let's take a look at the ripples in your life and see how much time you are willing to take in order to see the effects of your actions.

Mentors are one of the most important things in our lives. They bring out the best in us. They show us the path and what steps to skip. Today I was blessed to be joined by my mentor. I have told everyone the story of how I chose this path in life. Today when you listen to this podcast, think of how you will start your day and how you will notice when the cascades begin. For good or for bad. Go The Final Percent for yourself and don't let 10% ruin the other 90%.

It has been awesome to meet so many new people, to travel the world helping change and redefined their future. With such a cool year coming to a close we want to make 2023 extra special for everyone. We have big things in the works, from retreats around the nation, to events with RENATUS, this year is going to change the way we operate as a company, as individuals and as a community. This year we are going to W.A.R.! Now what does W.A.R. mean? W.A.R. means Wise Actions Repeated. We are going to take our wisest actions over the last few years and we are going to repeat them this year. Not just once but over and over again. Now it may seem wise now but could no longer be in the future. Wisdom is not knowing everything, it is taking what you know to be true right now and making decisions around those reference-able experiences. Everyone is the wisest person for their own life. You know what you like best. You know who you like spending time with, how you spend your time and why you spend your time. No one but you can determine the way life will play out. Your decisions define your quality of life. However by joining a community and beginning to experience the way others define and live their lives your wisdom may change. Suddenly the exposure to new places, people, things and ideas may give you a new lens to view your own life through. I know it did for me. When I saw the total eclipse in Wyoming, my view of my own life shifted dramatically! When I visited Kenya last year, I not only got to spend time with new people but experience new cultures that changed the way I view my own culture. This is the power of having someone to create more reference-able experiences with. When you go to W.A.R. you step out onto that field with every memory you have standing behind you. If those memories are negative, W.A.R. becomes battle. But if those memories are positive, W.A.R. becomes an adventure. I want to create positive experiences no matter where I go. Negative memories are bound to happen, it is impossible to stand on that field with nothing but positivity. However by being positive, by unlocking the piece of your life that allows you to stand with every positive memory you can, you can hold your negativity as a sword. As a tool to be wielded in the face of adversity, while still having every angel that you have crossed paths with, standing at your shoulder. Waiting for your wisdom to redefine the course of that adventure. Let us all be a good person to each other this year, so that they do not have to go to W.A.R. alone.
Regaining Options
Welcome back everyone! Thank you for tuning into this edition of The Final Percent podcast. We have some big things coming up this Saturday. From new event announcements to a little something that you are probably not expecting, you are sure to want to tune into our first Super Saturday! The team and I have been working hard to bring you these very special things. From new graphic design to video shoots and updates to our website we have been hammering away at creating something very special for 2023 and even a little bit of 2024! For those of you not in our FaceBook group you can join through this link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/thefinalpercent Now with Super Saturday announcements out of the way I want to ask you all, hows your fitness? Fitness has become a very import aspect of the team at TFP, while we were out on tour we would leave our hotel at 9-10 at night to get to the gym and get a work out in. Now every day we are doing some form of workout. Basketball, running, weight lifting or even just doing pushups until we drop. Now we don't just do this because we are gym bros who want to show off, we want to lead by example. We have been working with individuals and groups to improve their mindset for a long time and we have shown everyone what improvements in that world looks like, now we are starting to show everyone what improving your physical health looks like. We aren't going into this with a ton of training and knowledge however, while I have been going to the gym for a long time I still don't know everything about physical training. So I have been doing research. I began working with a training professional, ordering new kinds of workout equipment and trying new exercises. I have become an experiment for vitamins and supplements, all because I want to become incredibly healthy in my life so that I can live a longer and happier with my wife and child. I want to raise my physical awareness so that I can overcome the challenges of age, so that I can become The Final Percent version of myself physically. If anyone saw me back at the beginning of 2022 I was overweight and honestly depressed. Now I am feeling amazing, I have dropped weight, gained muscle and begun to enjoy the things that use to feel impossible to me. I mean I ran 2 marathons this year! That is the greatest benefit of health, the power to gain back the options in your life that you had previously lost. With that I want to invite you to become The Final Percent version of your physical self with me.
Age Is Just A Number With Alysia Clements
How often do you think you can or can’t do something based on your age? Oh I can’t relax, I'm not old enough, oh I can curse I'm young, oh I am, oh I am not, I am, I'm not… Age is just a number. The number of people who have said, “there's no way I can be successful. I'm not old enough.” Is a little ridiculous. Today I was joined by my friend, Alysia Clements. She is a 21 year old entrepreneur in the Denver area that is absolutely crushing the Airbnb business. She currently has ownership in around 30 Airbnb properties. Now Alysia wasn’t always working in this market. She had to go through many hardships that lead her to the ventures she is in today. The reason she defines that age is just a number is that she shows others that this life doesn’t need to operate on a select time frame. A common life would structure everything out for you, first you go to school, then you go to college, then you get a job and you work until you retire. This commonality of life is starting to break, more and more people are redesigning the way we see the time frame of life and have begun to build in the beginning of life when many others are still staring at the blueprint. You can’t allow the history of mankind to determine the way you will live. Life has a complex winding system of paths that will change as you move along. Yes you can follow the guide, follow the given straight ahead path or you can go on an adventure! Travel your mind and resign the idea that you can or can't do anything. Break the mold and become who you want to be. No matter the time table you are dancing on.
I Am Not Who I Think I Am
After a long journey around the nation it is my honor to welcome you back to The Final Percent Podcast. We have been falling behind on the episodes however we are getting back on it! Having been to so many places and meet so many people, I have made some connections that are going to change the way I operate. Both interpersonally and externally. We have been having the conversation and been planning two additional companies that will be operating in tandem with TFP's coaching practice. Alongside these new connections, I have been beginning to separate from some old ones. As I realized more and more that they don't serve me I began to have to pull away my grace and realize that although everyone deserves grace, only provide grace were grace is due. It brings me back to the old adage that I say often, I am not who I think I am, I am not who you think I am, I am who I think you think I am. Now that sometimes sounds so outlandish that you might not think it's true. However how often do you confront someone about a problem and they didn't even realize there was one? This is why we give grace. This is why compassion and kindness surpass all other giving virtues. Because while we exist in our own world of ideas and dreams, we often degrade ourselves by thinking people believe something about us that they don't. As the end of the year approaches I am getting so excited for what I have in store. And I refuse to allow the idea that others will look down on my dreams deter me from this path. We hope everyone can join us in person or online for our live stream Super Saturday on December 17th. Big things are going to be announced and we are going to change the name of the game!
Roles with Don Lewis and Rick Lewis
In this very special episode I got to speak with and interview the Lewis Brothers! The Lewis Brothers run a company called Tridium Corp. In their company Don and Rick (Lewis) Tag team the business by being perfect complementary partners to each other. Though they have differences of opinion and of venture, they always find a common ground to come together and overcome any challenge. After being in business for 15 years I had to ask them about their story and see if they would be willing to share from the middle. As I was speaking with them I began to realize something about their story. Something they conquered, where many don't ever even recognize. Roles. They have mastered their roles in their company, in their partnership with each other and their partnership with themselves. This is so important to notice because it allows you to become the absolute best version of yourself, without ever needing to question who you are supposed to be. You may deviate outside your role, however if you know where you belong you will always gravitate back. Inside of roles you might have to ask yourself hard questions. Am I a leader or a follower? Do I have executive choice? Where do my best skills lie? What is my mission as an individual? All of these questions point you to a specific role. However roles are one of the best things to identify because no individual has a singular role. You may be a parent and a teacher. A leader and a volunteer. Or one of my favorites, a mentor and a mentee. If you don't know your role however, how can you expect to perform? Say you stand on the stage of life, you just got queued to get on stage. You stand ready to head out into the wide eyes of the public. Then suddenly it hits you, "I know one line of each character in this play..." "WHO AM I PLAYING?!" You begin to spiral into a state of stress and disillusionment, you step onto the stage sweating and confused. Everyone in the crowd is just as confused and begins to wonder, "What is happening?" Now what would happen if you knew exactly who you were playing? You leap onto the stage with confidence and vigor! You crush every line and the crowd stands to applaud as you take a bow. You feel proud of yourself. Proud of your accomplishment and you can't wait for the next time that curtain opens. This is what it means to understand yourself. What it means to find your pocket and play your role perfectly. We all have a place in this world and while we are casting for our role we may feel confused on what we will play best. However the world has a way of fitting you into exactly where you need to be. Believe in yourself and your ability and I have no doubt that you shall become the lead role of your own Shakespeare play. Until then I can not wait to watch your story, from the middle. A big thank you to Don and Rick for joining me in this thrilling episode. To learn more about the Lewis Brothers, head over to their website at https://www.tridium.ca/
Discipline
When do we stop making ceremonial declarations and start making disciplined decisions? The main difference between these two points is consistency. It means that you have to become so ingrained in your own thought process that what you think can and must come to fruition. Now in this Podcast episode I was in Wyoming for my uncles birthday and I was meant to be spending time with the family. However as I was unplugging and relaxing I found myself feeling guilty. Guilty that progress towards the future was not being made. So my wife told me to go get a workout in, to go spend some time and focus my thoughts. As I did, I realized that my decision had become a discipline. I had made a decision to loose weight, to get in shape and make health a priority. Then I made a decision to run a marathon in mid October. Now I workout every day. I eat healthier and I run as often as I can. All of this began from a split second decision to make a declaration. I told a crowd of 25+ people that I would get in shape or pay them all $1000. No one believed me at the time. 3 months later, they all watched as I stepped onto a scale and beat the goal that I had set for my self. Even now however I am not where I want to be, I am still working towards my goal however as mentioned in the video, at this moment in time I am a masterpiece and a work in progress, all at once. And I think this is true for everyone, we are all a work in progress and always will be, however our lives have lead us to become masterpieces in our own right.
Unkown Influences
Happy Labor Day! I know we are a day late on releasing this however we were spending the time with my family in Wyoming and we had to push it by just one day. Today I wanted to look at influencer culture and the way it is a constant in our lives. No matter what way we turn we are constantly being influenced by everything. By Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, etc. All of these platforms regularly change the way we think and act. Now this isn't limited to the online social world. Everyone around us is also an influence for us. In a positive and/or negative manner. If we give our time to positive people we end up creating positive change and the same is true for the inverse. When we recognize the influences that constantly pouring into us we begin to identify the three kinds of people in our lives. These three people include stepping stones, corner stones and people who need to get the *beep* out of our lives. Stepping stones are people who we can step on and/or step on us. Corners stones are the people who change the course of our lives and, well the last one I am sure you can figure out. When you break it down to this simple principle you can see the path you want to walk down. If that path goes hand in hand or diverges down the road then that is what it is. The other key principle to realize is that you yourself are an influence to everyone. Have you ever walked past someone and given them a smile and watched their face light up? It is a magical thing to watch and it is insane to think that a brief moment, a compliment, a brush through each others lives can cause a complete shift in our reality. My challenge to everyone today is to become that positive influence. To be the guiding light for everyone around you and to be the one who smiles when you walk down that road. Life is too short to frown at the thought of someone else's happiness, that is why I choose to smile alongside them.
Take Aways from Costa Rica
We just got back from our recent trip to Costa Rica. It was an absolute blast and I was so honored to spend a week with such inspirational and incredible people. From spending time with Bob Synder and Zach Ohelman, to meeting and having dinner with Woody Woodward this trip was an opportunity to learn and develop my mindset with some of the best people I have met. The biggest takeaway for me was kind of a reaffirmation of the idea of MOVE! Funny how that keeps coming up with Bob Snyder, however it's completely true. By getting myself into motion I accidentally ended up in Costa Rica for a great week. When you move more you get the chance to put yourself in the right place at the right time. This consistent push towards your own future will begin to tear down walls. It will allow you to find the future that you are looking for. Now by moving you are also giving yourself the opportunity to get out of whatever rut you are currently in. To overcome your personal narrative and redefine the person you are. Now we are going to be hosting our 10th annual TFP Summit this year, however it is going to be much smaller than last year. We are limiting it to 40 people and have thus far sold around 20 tickets. So if you would like to secure your place this year, I encourage you to MOVE and reach to owen@thefinalpercent.com to see if you would be a good fit for this intensive event. Thank you to everyone who helps support the channel, we couldn't do this without you!
Responsibility With Zach Oehlman
What responsibilities do you have? What responsibilities do you believe you have? The difference between these two questions is much larger than just the phrasing. Responsibility comes down to more than just future action, it is our past actions, our current actions and the actions of those we influence. Responsibility is hard because it is not just a perception of needing to take care of something or someone, it is the physical commitment to do so. I take responsibility for my son, for my team and for myself. Now think about that statement. I take. I take on the backlash, good or bad, when I say something and that something happens. I take on that weight. Now if we think even further into it, does that mean the more responsibility I take on the stronger I am as a person? YES! If you are responsible for a dog, then you have more will power. You know you can't stay out late because you need to take care of that dog. You know you have the life of that dog held in the palm of you hand. All of these thing are only what you are responsible for. What do you believe you're responsible for? This is what you concern yourself with. This is what you commit your time and energy to. What if as humans we all believed ourselves responsible for the care of the elderly? Not just our family but everyone. What if we believed ourselves responsible to help rebuild after disaster? What if we believed ourselves responsible for the entire next generations well being? See where this is going? If we believe ourselves responsible for doing our job at the highest possible level without need for compensation or praise, we would have a very different outlook on work. If we believed ourselves responsible for caring for the earth, doing our part to clean up after ourselves and plant new trees, we would have a very different planet. If you believe in something strongly you will go on to accomplish it. So what will you believe you are responsible for today?
My Life In 24mm
So today I was thinking to myself and I asked, what would be fun? What do I want to do today that I would thoroughly enjoy? The answer to that, spend time with those that I am the closest with! So starting off my day I worked out for close to 3 hours with one of my closest friends, Drew Dugan. Following that, our fitness did not end as we then had a 2v2 basketball game with Salo and Owen, in our backyard. We got our heart rate up because everyone at TFP has recently made a vow to commit to getting in shape and working on our fitness. From weight training, to running, to basketball and even eating healthy we are fully engrained in ensuring that we all hold each other accountable for our health. Health doesn't end at eating and acting healthy though. Health truly ends when you work to be happy. If you're happy with your weight, you are probably healthy. If you are happy with your diet, you are probably healthy. The most important one, however is are you happy with your life? If you are happy with your life, and not just happy, but filled with joy throughout your life, I believe that that is the point in which you are truly healthy. In honor of all of my team taking these steps to reach an Exponential life with me I am going to begin to document and release my journey for everyone to see. I want to show you more behind the sense of what we do, from basketball to travel to even just one of the team cooking for everyone, I want to show you that this thing we talk about, an exponential life, is not just the big things. But the little things along the way. The memories and companionships that we all make together. This new series is going to be called, My Life In 24mm. It will be a collection of memories, of ideas, of experiences that I had the opportunity, no the honor of living. Let's start a conversation about what life is all about.
Ode to Konrad
Today I got to spend some time with my wife Cayla and my son Konrad. We went on a "DMV" adventure. We spent more time than we would have liked waiting for things to get done, but most importantly we got to spend quality family time together. As I am experiencing this new life coming into this world that is completely alien to him, I am beginning to notice that exposing him to new things and new experiences that seem boring to me are insane to him. Exposure is everything. It is a basic piece of what human nature is and is more commonly known as nurture. The idea of nature vs nurture comes down to internal vs external. The physical vs the spiritual. As I am thinking about the idea of nature vs nurture I notice that those two things need to be in balance. By getting out and giving yourself physical experiences you will be happier, however if you never work on your spiritual self you will feel out of place and out of energy in those physical experiences. In the modern day, so often we are absorbed by the physical world, we spend more time on the phone than with our family. More time watching tv than out in nature and more time distracting ourselves than focusing our energies. This brings me back to the idea of more. We spend more and yet more is not acquirable. So that means we are actively going into debt with ourselves. We are actively draining a bank account that we never should have had access to in the first place. This means rather than asking you to spend more time outside, spend more time with your family, I just want to ask you to begin focusing on spending time with your family, spending time outdoors and spending time developing yourself. Life is so finite and to keep juggling what you should be doing is unsustainable. With the time you have here on this earth my hope for you is to look back at your life and know that you lived it to the fullest, that you spent your time on what mattered most to you. Because that is all we have, once the bank account of time is spent, there is no buying it back. So get out there and buy what makes your heart jump with joy.
Acquisition Vs. Building
As a gear head I am often looking into what the latest technology or "toys" I can utilize. My gear is in a constant state of flux depending on what I am doing, where I am going or what needs to happen. The one thing that I refuse to do however is buy a new piece of gear without first recognizing what I am building. Gear for me is like tools for a construction worker. It is very needed in order to do my work properly. I don't plan to build a home while buying screws and a hammer. Instead I will design my blueprint, find my team and then acquire the materials. Once all of that is done, then I can begin my build. I can begin to construct something greater than myself. One of the key statements in that is find my team. Tools are worthless without the right team to use them. Alternatively a team is a lot like a good set of tools. If one team member is incapable of completing a task, then it is wise to look for one who fits that specific work set. When a team is made properly then you will have a tool belt of individuals who make your tasks possible and compliment the work flows of each other. Unlike tools however, team members get better with age. With a little bit of patients and a lot of individualized commitment you will find that by doubling down on the people in your arsenal will benefit you greatly. Rather than always seeking the latest and greatest, you will simply have to reach into your booklet of powerful team members and grant them access to the tools they may need, in order to overcome any object.
MOVE with Bob Snyder
As I am still processing and fully understanding my journey through Kenya I wanted to speak with a friend I made on safari. Bob Snyder is a world class business man and an incredible person. I had the opportunity to ride in Bob's safari vehicle while we travelled and viewed the great migration. As we spent more and more time together I realized that I had accidentally found myself in the right place, at the right time to meet someone like no other. Today we spoke about the experiences and ideas we found ourselves thinking about as we went on this journey. The crosses in our own lives with the actions of animals. The decision process of lions and the indecision of wildebeest. The grace of cheetah vs. the power of a cape buffalo. As humans we tend to overcomplicate things, rather than viewing it from an outside perspective. One thing that kept popping up for us is MOVE! Movement is the key to everything. If you move you will always have something happen. If you pick your feet up and take even a single step you will change the world. You will cause an impression on the ground. Although it may be small, a little indent in the earth, you have created physical proof that you are here! That you were alive! If you stand in one place however, you will never be able to show the world that you were here. That you understood that your time on this earth is finite and rather than choose to dwell on that fact, you chose to live! Bob brought to me so many ideas that showed me new windows into different perceptions of life. Although we adventured together we did not have the same journey. Each of us walked away with different ideas different concepts, of what we had experienced. However by building a connection on our adventure, we had the opportunity to connect. To not only connect our dots in reverse but each others dots in reverse. To see the thing they saw and begin to interpret each others interpretations. This is the power of communication. This is the power of the human mind that we refuse to utilize on such a regular basis. To build upon each other. To rise to new heights through the power of the person standing next to you, in spirit or in person. We need to release this self absorbed era of dependent thought that leads to independent results. Instead we need to begin to pull one another up to new and greater opportunities by creating independent thoughts that will lead to interdependent results. I want to send a huge thank you to Bob Snyder for joining me on todays episode. It was an absolute treat to speak with you and I can't wait for our next adventure together. Building a Team
I got back from Africa just about two weeks ago and I have been firing on all cylinders. When I first returned I thought things would slow down for a bit, however the exact opposite happened! We all speed up, TFP began to revamp our content, our mission and our operating principles. We are now going to Costa Rica next week to speak at a convention, we began planning our TFP Summit 2022 and we began to find some extremely cool opportunities behind the scenes. This is the beginning of a new era, a new beginning for TFP. If you remember yesterday I told you to find people who bring about adventure in your life. Well to everyone listening, everyone reading and for everyone that is a support system for TFP, thank you. Thank you for bring about the greatest adventure I have ever been on in my life.
Lessons From Kenya with Bob Tierney
My journey to Kenya last month was all thanks to my good friend and fellow coach, Bob Tierney. Bob brought me along on this wild adventure and showed me a new area of the world. I am so blessed to have someone like him in my life and I encourage you to find people in your own life who bring about new adventures. People always see the idea of rich as what you have in your bank account, what things you having sitting in your home. Rich however is not what you have but rather what you do and who you do it with. Those who have experiences and craft their future WITH other people rather than alone, those are the people who are truly rich. I met so many people through the selfless act of Bob. I built so much with other people and developed my perspective of life and what happiness truly is. Happiness is being at peace in your current predicament. Allowing stress and anxiety to fade away and allow yourself to be in a state of bliss right where you are. Empty your cup and fill your soul with the bliss of breath, with the recognition that you are alive! Allow yourself to be happy and stop demanding yourself to do more, be more, have more, more, more, more... We can't get enough more, so find bliss in the fact that you are enough.
Strange
This episode was recorded close to two weeks ago however it had to be postponed because I was unable to send it out from Africa. Thats right Africa! I had the distinct pleasure of joining some incredible people on a journey exploring and viewing the wonders of Kenya. I had the chance to get a new perceptive on life and a new appreciation for all the small things in my life. Life is much more precious than we give ourselves the chance to behold. We never let go of chasing after the sunrise of tomorrow and never stop in the morning to be present. What is strange is the idea that we never want to be here. Right here, right now. By being present in everything you do you will achieve a greater level of understanding for yourself, for your spouse, for your child, for your friends and for everything around you. Right now is called the present because it is a gift. Don't let your gifts go to waste.
Adventures
How do you respond to the challenges in your life? Do you fight to overcome? Or climb to rise above? As humans we often sink into our animal instinct of fight or flight the moment things get too tough. We refuse to rise to the occasion so that we don't just reach the top but rather crest it. When I climb mountains I not only climb for the challenge that it poses to me, but the view that awaits me at the end. If I make it to that end through fearsome thought, frustration and a lack of will to see the peak, then my mindset shall remain the same as I take those last few steps. I then choose to fall to the ground and gasp for air rather than letting my breath be taken by the glorious world I have been placed into. You're always at the right place at the right time, however this can only be evident when you lift your head. So will you lift your head and go on an adventure with me?
The Little Things with Bob Tierney
In mid July I have the unique opportunity to travel to Kenya with my good friend Bob Tierney. Bob is an incredible person who helps teach the next generation of entrepreneurs through learning the ins and outs of real estate. As we were talking today we realized that so many people never watch the big gestures, they watch out for the little things. The little things re-define what you see in a person. A hug can be 10x more powerful than buying someone dinner. A compliment can change someone's attitude and completely change the course of their day. Humans are so complex and so hard to understand, however, by taking the time to understand the little things you do, the small actions you take, the little things that define who you are, you can begin to understand the little things of those around you. Let the little things change your world, leave your loved ones flowers, call your family when you can. Change the narrative of things you do on a minute by minute basis and you will begin to alter the course of the big things. Your dreams will now be supported by someone who merely saw who you are by giving them a smile. Your mission will be backed by people who you gave nothing more than compliments. Allow the moments that seem like nothing to become the defining moments in your life. Give kindness and hope to everyone you meet and you will create the future you have seen in the reflection of those you help.
Ceremonial Declarations
What does it mean to declare something? When we declare something to the world we make a statement, tell everyone you will change something, build something, or succeed in a challenge that we are currently working on. However a declaration is just a statement. It is just words said to the world telling them that you will do it. The difference between those who complete those declarations and do not, is a decision. It is a choice to completely commit to the challenge at hand. To be consistent and to overcome the adversity beyond a shadow of a doubt. Consistency is key in creating a company, in building a family, in developing a future. The ultimate mindset is hidden behind the repetitive cycle. Is built in the moment that you are actively living and is the exact moment that you decide, to change your life for the better. Not to just say you will change, but to truly, wholeheartedly become who you are meant to be. We are all meant to be the hero's of our own story. Are you willing to save yourself from the villain of your own mind?
Projection and Exploration
Should. Should is one of the most toxic words in the english language. This word breaks you down internally and shrinks you externally. If you wake up and say I should get out of bed, I should brush my teeth, I should, I should and you should all over yourself. On the inverse, if someone tells you that you should, you begin to question how you want to live your life. You begin to compare your reality to theirs and they start to project their way of life onto yours and now you get into the loop and shrink into a comfort zone. Exploration is a challenge in the modern era. We have explored the earth many times over, however there are still corners and depths we have not gone to. As soon as we wish to find these corners however everyone tells us we are crazy. We should get a job, we should settle down, we should, we should, we should and now they are shoulding all over you! Exploration is how we became who we are. We explored the world through our own eyes and our own minds and now we are asked to conform to everyone else's explorations because we should fit in? NO! We must be willing to stand out. To be ourselves and to overcome the projections of others. Everyday is a chance to explore the world and discover the amazing in your life.
The Signal Flow of Life
For those of you who don't know, I am a bit of a gear head! I grew up with my dad building sound systems, designing audio treated rooms and learning how it all flows together. Today I have a music studio that I have spent years building. If you would like to check it out you can head over our YouTube channel; https://www.youtube.com/c/TheFinalPercent/videos In the music world there is one thing you always need to ensure you pay attention to. Signal flow. Signal flow decides if you get sound or not from your speakers. If you can record the audio from a guitar, piano and more! The thing about signal flow, is that it doesn't just apply to the music world. Signal flow is the key indicator of life. With it you can identify the way that certain actions flow into the next. How the beginning correlates with the end and how, by recognizing this you can change the way that actions begin to shape into reality. I like to remind people that the dots only connect backwards. That the actions we take today may not be recognized as a key moment in life until much later down the road. However by understanding we are in the right place at the right time ALWAYS, we will begin to manipulate that signal flow of life into tomorrows next hit song.
An Update About The Final Percent
After taking some time to recenter and readjust to my new life as a dad, I am ready to get back into the swing of things. It has been challenging to find the motivation to work when I have a cute smiling face waiting for me downstairs. Now that I have found my rhythm in my drastically changed life, I am ready to begin firing on all cylinders. In this episode I talk about a few of the challenges that I have faced and overcome over the last few years. My deep state of reflection has brought me clarity in my life and it has brought about deep set emotions that I feel as though I need off my chest. I am so thankful for such an amazing and magical community. You all have helped pull me though this time and I am ready to begin giving back.
Intentionality and Integrity With Ben Humble
What does intentionality and integrity have in common? The end goal. In this episode I am joined by my friend Ben Humble. Ben has now toured America attending and creating events that teach the fundamental principles of a financially free future. Following his event in San Diego I drove to Phoenix, AZ and stayed there with Ben for an additional week. In that week we had the opportunity to elaborate further on our key principles and how they can impact others lives. As we spoke more and more we discovered that we had a similar mindset of focusing on the end goal. Now in order to reach the end goal, as we discovered, you need two things. Intentionality and integrity. Intentionality grants the vision to see the end and the drive to reach for it. Now integrity gives you the ability to do the work needed to make it to that finish line. With the end goal in mind we must work day in and day out to drive towards the line and become the future we want to create. A big thank you to Ben Humble for having me at his event! Can't wait to see what else we can create together.
The Principles of Coaching with Briana Stonelake
I have had the distinct honor of working with a wonderful woman named Briana Stonelake. Briana is a coach in the Phoenix, Arizona area. As we were talking I asked her, "how do we get into a situation where a person feels more love?" Her response was so dynamic that I felt it necessary to share it with you. She has brought to my attention some incredible insights into what it means to be authentic. Learn more about Briana at: https://www.stonelakelifeconsulting.com/
Reflection
The more time I spend reflecting the more I recognize the times I have been stuck. With my son giving me a new sense of direction, I MUST focus my attention to be so much more purposeful. Everyday I look back at how I made it here and I am so thankful to everyone who has brought me this far, this does include myself. I want to remind you to be thankful for yourself because you can only spend every moment of life with one person.

As a new year begins so too does a new chapter in my life. This year I have shifted my focus to be more introspective and intentional with my actions. We all have our own resolutions for this year, we all have our goals we want to hit and we all have missions we want to pursue. All I ask is, and I want you to ask yourself this as well, am I giving my energy to the right people, places and ideas?

Ellen Degeneres was telling millions about Katie's little invention on her show. Rachel Ray and the TODAY Show did as well. The paparazzi caught Kourtney Kardashian walking around with the Puj Tub (her first product) tucked under her arm. Her face was on millions of boxes being sold in Target, Costco, Nordstrom, and stores in over 26 countries. I get to interview Katie on the behind-the-scenes moments that led to the change. We are so excited to have her as a speaker at this year's TFP Summit. www.katierichardson.com www.thefinalpercent.com
Language
The way you talk to yourself is more important than the way someone else talks to you. Why? The language you use has a massive impact on your life. It can set you up for success or be the reason you've become stagnant. It's all up to you.
I can't lie. I am a little scared.
What scares you? What does fear mean to you? Well in this episode I talk about what has me scared and what I do when fear shows up.
Lazy Deserves ZERO Grace
Don't let rest turn into laziness. We need rest and it is very important to give ourselves the GRACE to take rest when NEEDED. Unfortunately, we often let it turn to laziness. Grace is not a pass for laziness but it is a path.

I hope you enjoy this very entertaining episode with these two wonderful people.
Prevail is My Dads Middle Name

He prevailed against all odds and is on the road to recovering and has made some very life-changing decisions. I debut the song "Prevail" in this podcast as well. I hope you Enjoy it.

Good AND Bad, Right Place Wrong Time, Right Time Wrong Place
We need to use the words AND & WITH more. Usually the good comes WITH the bad, pleasure WITH pain, and we don't always feel prepared to deal with what life throws at us. Stay on your path and know you are destined for greatness the only secret is DO NOT QUIT. Life is not choosy, it deals good hands and band hands alike, IT IS NOT JUST YOU.
When Curiosity Shows Up Take Action

Getting Men Off the Island with Johnny King
Self-expression is hard for men. There are so many unwritten rules that govern how we think we need to behave, like DON'T ask for help, directions, or read an instruction manual. We as men think we need to be all-knowing and show no weakness but it's just NOT true. We need to normalize communication of our true selves so we are not holding onto masks that hide who we really are.
Overcoming the Jacuzzi Experience with Dr. JC Doornick
We often get addicted to experiences hoping for motivation and inspiration and while we feel it in the moment, we forget to take continued disciplined action. Dr. JC Doornick and I discuss how to stay charged up so you can take consistent action long-term instead of in short bursts.

Stop or START doing that!
Why do we do the things that we do? Humans are habitual creatures, and if we learn our patterns. We can then break, change or rewrite them altogether.
Appreciate BEFORE life makes you.
Appreciation is one of the rare gits that we have as human beings. Learn to raise your awareness so you can spend more time enjoying life while it's happening instead of living in the land of, shoulda coulda, woulda. Life throws curve balls and changes your perspective all the time, are you ready?
What is FREEDOM really?
Freedom is very important to us humans. In this episode, I discuss different ways to be free. It usually means something different to everyone. So let's talk about what freedom really is.
Love On People Who Love On You
Ep. 113 In this episode I talk about restarting my podcast and doubling down on people who double down on you. The video of this will be live on my YouTube channel as I am walking around our facility in Boulder, CO doing this podcast. So often we forsake and forget the people who are constants in our life, all the while trying to impress people who could realistically care less if we even existed. Don't forget to love on people who love you because they truly are the most important people in your life.

Mindset Shift Featuring Cayla Kimble
Ep. 108 Today I got the chance to sit down with my partner in business and in life, my wife Cayla Kimble. Just like any other business in the midst of the pandemic, we have had negative thoughts about our future and have been afraid to navigate this uncharted territory we are operating in. There is still a sense of uncertainty in the air around the world today, but my wife has done an incredible job shifting her mindset throughout this entire ordeal in order to remain in check and continue pressing on for the betterment of the bigger picture at stake. Action is the only form of perfection these days. It's all a matter of perspective and small mental shifts that will keep you on track throughout this tumultuous time.
Do It Anyway: Revisited
Ep. 107 This concept has been a major staple with my clients and I believe its purpose holds true now more than ever. With society having more time at home on their hands to choose to pursue new things, new hobbies, new ideas, and new directions with their lives, there is absolutely no excuse we can use of "I don't have time." If you want to make something happen for yourself and you have the choice to make of whether you move forward on it today, don't make an excuse, just DO IT ANYWAY. What you want to accomplish tomorrow is completely dependent on the choices you make today. You miss 100% of the shots you don't take. You have to show up for yourself in order to create opportunity out of this dark hour and truly make this your breakthrough season!
Community Featuring Drew Dugan
Ep. 106 Today I sat down with my good friend Drew Dugan to get his perspective on the recent COVID-19 crisis at hand and what changes he expects the world to make to pivot into a more virtual reality. Society has been violently shoved into preparation for the future of every business operating on a different playing field. The most important thing we can do to prepare for this shift is unite the communities surrounding us and set the precedent for the generations to come.
No Instruction Manual
Ep. 105 No matter what anyone claims, there is no "instruction manual" for how to go about your life. The fact that we live in such a judgmental world, especially in a time where the world needs to unite now more than ever, is the real "unprecedented" issue that we need to shed light on. Spreading negativity constantly will not solve any of our problems and yes, I'm aware there are a lot of problems on our plates right now. In this uncertain time, I encourage you all to approach every situation and interaction with patience and understanding as we all need to focus on spreading more positivity and support for one another.
Find Joy
Ep. 104 How do you quantify your happiness amidst today’s heightened climate of the COVID-19 crisis? It’s all a matter of your perspective. I’ve chosen to begin seeking the feeling of “joy” as we navigate how to experience happiness. What was your “pure joy” moment you remember most from your childhood? What were the contributing factors to that moment? With the craziness surrounding society right now, it is crucial for us to find the same aspects of our “pure joy” moments in our everyday new reality. Learn to CHOOSE happiness today!
House of Cards
Ep. 103 We're back today in the middle of the COVID-19 Pandemic happening in our country, discussing the major flaws in the current business models companies are operating within. So many of the businesses that have fallen because of this crisis have only fallen because of the 'house of cards' their systems and processes were built on. Now is the perfect opportunity to create something NEW and sustainable instead of trying to FIX what was previously developed.
Opporchancity
Ep. 102 The word of the day today is "Opporchancity." In this tumultuous time in the world, we need to take a chance on the opportunities we have been given. Now more than ever, we are constantly grasping for certainty. The world as we know it is actively forcing us to slow down and take some time to take chances on the opportunities we still have available at our fingertips. Take the chance on true connection with others and appreciate the time we have been given! This is your OPPORTUNITY to RESET!
Unprecedented
Ep. 101 With the overwhelming effects of the recent coronavirus pandemic our country is facing today, we are living in an uncertain, ever-changing, UNPRECEDENTED time. In times of great adversity always comes great growth. In today's episode, I want to explore what is possible on the positive side of this tumultuous event and how to overcome the negatives to truly BEcome who we are meant to be at the end of all of this.
Pillars to Live By Featuring Doug Wood
Ep. 100 My team and I recently traveled on a cruise to The Bahamas to partake in Coach Burt's Monster Luxury Cruise as a featured speaker. Along the way I got to catch up with some of my favorite people in the industry, including The REAL Doug Wood! Doug and I explore some of the biggest and most impactful habits, life lessons, and concepts that have helped us both achieve our exponential parts of life and discuss how these principles can also help you explore the final percent in YOUR life.
"Say Yes" Featuring Jay Palmer
Ep. 99 In the busyness of this holiday season, I was very grateful to have gotten the chance to catch one of my good friends in business, Mr. Jay Palmer, on the phone to interview him on some of his best strategies that have helped him build the empire he has today. If you don't know of Jay, he owns 9 different locations of Floyd's Barbershop throughout the Colorado area and is on the verge of so much more in the coming years. One of the biggest principles he has led his company by is the concept "saying yes" when it comes to the customer service industry. He has an incredible group of employees behind him in this operation and one of the best things he tells them they can do on a daily basis is to tell the customer "yes." Listen today as to how Jay has implemented this mantra throughout his locations and how he plans to build even more in the near future.
The Final Percent: Revisited
Ep. 98 It's Final Percent Friday and I wanted to sit down today to go back in time and remind everyone how the concept surrounding "The Final Percent" got its start in the first place. Take a ride down memory lane with me as we reflect on these past few years with TFP as well as take a look into the future for the brand and our incredible community of TFP members. The Final Percent is the exponential part of life and I encourage you all to explore your full potential with me in the New Year!
Control
Ep. 97 Today I took a deep dive into the concept surrounding our society that is "influence." We all want to influence people's lives, influence people's patterns, influence people's opinions, influence, influence, influence... but really what we are looking for is control. Instead of trying to influence someone's decision, we are actually looking to control their decision or the outcome of a situation that stems from a lack of control in our own lives. The best way to be truly be "influential" is to focus on what kind of an "impact" you are making instead of struggling for a sense of control.
How Do You Occur?
Ep. 96 The word that has been circulating my family and my team lately is the word "occur." How do you occur for other people? In most cases, we are trying to occur for other people as "perfect" or "we have it all together" either in person or on social media and this behavior has become addicting to our society. The real root of the problem is this: when the cameras are off and your are alone throughout your day left to your own decisions, how do you "occur" for yourself? The thought process that you have in these times are the most important for our growth and in turn, will help you better "occur" for others.
Do It Anyway
Ep. 95 In a recent sales seminar, I was asked to share one of my best pieces of advice for closing and I had to say the "Do it Anyway" concept. People tend to get very wrapped up in their own heads trying to make sure they are taking all factors into account when making their decision. This concept can not only be applied in the closing of a sale, but also regular day-to-day decisions. I applied this concept in recording this podcast for you all today and I hope you can apply it in your own ways throughout your life to always make the first move in the right direction and just "do it anyway" regardless of your thoughts, motivation, and other roadblocks.
What is Your Wake Up Call?
Ep. 94 As many of you may not know, my family went into this Thanksgiving holiday a bit on edge this year as my niece was hospitalized with a life-threatening diagnosis. We were originally told that she may not make it or may be in an unstable condition for up to a year of recovery. In this time of remorse and emotional highs, my unorthodox family came together in ways we haven't before - forgiving, forgetting, letting things go, and rallying around one another in support of my niece. The real questions is, in the midst of all of our family problems and our interesting past, why does it always seem to take something catastrophic to happen for families to begin to repair? I invite people to not wait for a devastating wake up call to feel blessed, have joy in your heart, and understand that life is truly a blessing. We must push forward in who we can be and strive to be more than we were yesterday because we are not promised tomorrow.
Colorado Impactor Series Featuring Brian Watson
Ep. 93 In the first episode of our "Colorado Impactors" series, I got to sit down with my good friend and fellow entrepreneur, Brian Watson. Brian has worked as a commercial real estate owner and is the founder and CEO of Northstar Commercial Partners. He built his legacy by standing firm in his faith, working to create new opportunities in his community, and rallying around his team in times of undeniable adversity. Brian Watson is a true world-class leader, author, and politician in his field and seems to be the perfect fit to kick off this new podcast series.
The Sircle of S's
Ep. 92 The "Sircle of S's" is a concept I have been developing for a while now and I want to share it with you. There are 5 S's in life that are very important in the process of achieving your goals: 1. SAFE - We all start in the SAFE part of life. Don't take risks, don't spend more than you make, don't live above your means. etc. 2. STRETCH - As you move past always playing it SAFE, you will begin attempting to STRETCH your time, stretch your knowledge, stretch your budget, stretch your relationships, and move a little bit further than you are ready to. Remember: You can only lead as far as you've gone. 3. SCARY - Once you have STRETCHED just a little too far and entered into new territory, generally people enter what is called the "scary" part of life and if they are not ready to experience it fully, they will begin retreating out of fear all the way back to the SAFE part of life. 4. SACRIFICE - If you have persevered through the SCARY part of life and continue moving forward, you will begin to SACRIFICE things like your time, energy, and other things that are important to you in order to achieve the things you want. 5. SPECIAL - Once you have made it through the SCARY times, and the times of SACRIFICE, you will finally begin to understand your accomplishments, you will appreciate all of the time and energy you have expended, and experience what is now the SPECIAL part of your life. As you continue through this cycle, the key in this process is skip the SCARY part of life and make it to the SACRIFICE part of life as fast as humanly possible. Sacrifice brings and breeds reward and will carry you to the SPECIAL part of life. We are meant to be Special. We are meant to do special things. Too many people are stuck in the scared mindset and never get to truly appreciate the Special part of life. Once you have hit your goal in the Special part, you will slowly shift back to the SAFE mindset, create a new goal (generally bigger than your last) and will repeat the Sircle of S's once again.
Above, Down, Inside, and Out Featuring Mike Lynch
Ep. 91 Today at TFP Studios, I got to sit down with Mike Lynch, owner and friend at Adio Health Chiropractic in Boulder, CO. The word "adio" stands for "above, down, inside, and out" and the company places its focus on restoring optimal health through a properly functioning nervous system. Several people associate chiropractors as a type of "witch doctor" if you will. However Mike has personally opened my eyes to the incredible benefits that his practice can have on my health, so much so that I want to make sure the world can be exposed to the same concept through Mike's story.
7 Steps to Becoming a More Intentional Leader Featuring Rocio Perez
Ep. 90 Today at TFP Studios I got to sit down with leadership trainer, Ms. Rocio Perez. Rocio is the founder of Inventiva Consulting, a company created to bring positive change to the workplace and to help organizations align culture, brand, and leadership. Her international best-selling book Unstoppable outlines a 7 step coaching process that we were able to unwrap in our interview as well as her eye-opening story as to how she became the powerful leader she is today.
The Top 5 Regrets From Your Death Bed
Ep. 89 In speaking to the KMG Academy Fall 2019 Graduating Class, we discussed the importance of living your life boldly and decisively. You cannot wait for things to be exactly perfect before you get started. The best illustration I could give to demonstrate the importance of this concept was from a book I read years ago that compiled research from interviews with people on their death bed recounting the top 5 regrets they all had looking back on their lives. Among others, the top regret was living for other people's expectations and not living for what was inside of themselves. You cannot decide your future, but you can decide your habits. You can decide to live boldly and decisively. You can decide to make a new habit every single day that will, in fact, change your future.
Hope vs. Faith
Ep. 88 What's more important to you? Hope or faith? The general public response will reveal that faith is more important in all of our lives. The answer is that both hope and faith are unbelievably important. Hope provides the motivation for you to get started on a path and faith provides the inspiration for you to continue and remain consistent on that path. If we look at what we can and should have faith in, it all starts with ourselves. We have faith in our abilities and know that we are capable of more. However, hope needs to be let in as fast and as often as possible to provide the motivation for faith to grow. Hope is the path to motivation and faith is the path to inspiration - motivations pushes, and inspiration pulls. You have to learn how to use both wisely.
Deep Work
Ep 87: We are coming to you today from the brand new TFP Studio and discussing the importance of removing yourself from a distracted environment in order to truly complete "deep work" within your life. There are moments throughout our days where we need to be present when working face to face in our relationships, business, and more. Technology as it pertains to social media, communication, entertainment, and more has become such an addiction in our generation and it will only take deliberate and diligent practice for us to learn how to move our lives forward without letting these distractions constantly overpower every situation.
Who are YOU Influencing? Featuring Hypnautic
Ep 86: As I got the chance to spend some time with my longtime friend Hypnautic, we discussed the current state of the "Influencer" game and the impact it is making on our world. So many influencers out there, no matter how many followers they have, how many likes they get on their post, how many people commented on their photo, are not considering the IMPACT they are truly making on their audience and the negative effects that can result. Your mind is a paintbrush, not a camera. YOU are making your own future based on the books you read and the people you spend your time with. The positivity in our mind is what becomes our success in the end. People can always buy what you do, but they can never buy who you are. What you DO supercharges who you ARE.
Everything Begins with Belief - Featuring Tristan Silva
Ep 85: Today I met with Tristan Silva - the social media expert of Diamond Limited Enterprises. We discussed what is possible when you choose to focus on belief in yourself, your brand, your business, and more. One of the most dangerous things that you can ever do in your life is choose to only believe in the things you can see. The only things you have control over in this life are your attitude, your philosophy, your actions, and your reactions. People are waiting for belief to show up in their lives. People are waiting for things to happen. They are waiting to see it before they can believe it when truly, they need to get out of their own way and start understanding that it is okay to borrow someone else’s belief in you so that you are able to believe in yourself at that moment. The difference between you taking action and taking no action comes down to simply belief in yourself and your abilities to achieve. Once you’ve got your belief locked in, then you’ve got to prepare to win, plan to win, and EXPECT to WIN!
Life Just Doesn't Get Better Than This
Ep 84: My dad has always told me that "memories are the best way to teach us how to know we were in the right place at the right time" and if I didn't believe him back then, I can wholeheartedly tell you that truer words have never been spoken. Imagine where we would all be today if we accepted the timing of our lives and believed that we are all exactly where we are meant to be? Join us as we take a trip down memory lane and reminisce on the stories that taught me how life just doesn't get better than this!
Performance vs. Development
Ep 83: Are you in a "development" stage in your life? Or a "performance" stage in your life? Everyone has undergone development in at least one area of their life, but often times people try to perform at a higher level than they have actually developed themselves to achieve. Paying more attention to the personal development that is required to perform at your highest capacity will be the biggest component we have available to us in pushing society to its max potential.
The "I Need to Decompress" Phenomenon
Ep 82: In this day and age, the entrepreneurs, influencers, hustlers (you name it!) promote an always-working mindset at all hours of the day. What happens when we hit our limit? Generally the popular phrase that has become overused is "I just need to decompress for a little bit." In this episode, I dissect this phrase in what it is assumed to mean on the outside, but also what it promotes in our own minds on the inside and how we can adjust the meaning to better encompass what we all truly need at the end of a long day - "downtime."
