Black Panther
Another episode of This is Stupid Presents: Dinner and a Show! This week, since everybody is talking about it, we figured we would too. Black Panther! Ted, Brocky and Dave discuss the finer points of rhinoceros jousting and just where the hell Wakanda would be on a map. The guys were blown away by the mix of Shakespeare, James Bond and Afro-futurism in this awesome movie by Ryan Coogler, starring Michael B. Jordan, Chadwick Bosman, Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira and a hell of a lot of other talented actors. So take a swig of your heart-shaped herb potion, commune with your ancestors and hang out with us while we discuss the 106th installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Wakanda forever!

Blade Runner
Please join the hosts of This is Stupid's Dinner and a Show for another exciting discussion of movies and grub! This week, Ted and Zach are joined by Dave and Phil to talk about the amazing 80's classic, Blade Runner. The guys dig into the mysterious messages lurking below the surface of Ridley Scott's opus and ponder the meaning of robotic life. They also talk about the delicious Japanese noodle dish known as ramen. Enjoy!

Holistic Living and You!
Ted is joined in the new studio by Zach, Jeanette and Natalie to talk about some new-age holistic living tips. We talk about reiki, hypnosis, meditation and other fun, consciousness-expanding things you can do when you learn to stop worrying and embrace the practices of the far East! Ted basically felt like Jack Burton in Big Trouble in Little China the whole time. Just shouting about how he doesn't understand all this wacky Chinese stuff. Upon reflection, the movie is really kind of inappropriate. Oh well, the 80s right? Anyway, let the soothing tones of Natalie and Jeanette's voices lure you into a nice, easily-influenced trance. You're feeling sleepy...

This Is Vegas
Holy crap. We're back. This Is Stupid is BACK! Ted and Nick and Heather just got back from beautiful Las Vegas and they had a crazy time! Nick and Heather decided to take the plunge towards marriage recently and figured it would be a great idea to celebrate appropriately. So they went to watch people take their clothes off in Las Vegas. And gamble! And have a generally funny, sexy time! It was a great time with a good group of friends, and now we're going to listen to the gang go over the highlights (and lowlights). The usual crew is joined by the bitchy robot Louis and our bubbly buddy Ashely. Enjoy! (P.S. The audio quality is a little funky on this one, try not to hold it against us, it's been a while.)

This is Sex(y) Therapy
Hey Stupidheads! This week, Ted is joined in the studio by Liz and Kevin, both first time guests on the show! This is also our first official This Is Stupid Science Time Corner! Liz is studying to be a marital/sex therapist, two things that don't necessarily go together. So she has decided to grace the show with her knowledge and pre-professional opinions concerning all kinds of psychological stuff. These shows are going to contain lots of "facts" and "science", so please sit back, enjoy and pretend to learn something so we feel like we didn't totally waste our time. Oh and Kevin helped! Thanks Kevin! Stay stupid everybody. Except for those of you in school. Don't be stupid. Do lots of stimulants so you can study hard and grow up to be a mid-level wage slave like the rest of us! YAY! Take our sex in your earholes now please.

This is Dystopia
This is Stupid has crawled back from the abyss, clawing and scraping from the brink of utter extinction, holding a microphone aloft in a trembling hand, ready to bring you, the loyal internet, more amazing and mostly infallible tidbits of complete crap. You. Are. Welcome. On this week's show, Ted is joined in the dusty studio by Zach! Zach comes to the show by way of having always wanted to be on a famous podcast. He figured this was a good place to start. Zach and Ted swallow red pills and journey down their respective rabbit holes to explore dystopia, what it means, our favorite examples of the genre, and why it's not actually a real word. Please enjoy!

Edge of Tomorrow
Ted is joined in the studio by fellow movie enthusiast Charlie Brown to talk about the new Tom Cruise vehicle, Edge of Tomorrow. Horrible title aside, the guys liked it. Tom Cruise is back, baby! Also, nicknames, seafood and the role of strong female characters in a post-feminist society and the challenges posed by redefining gender roles in popular culture. Most of the calamari you have ever eaten has most likely been, in fact, fried pig anus. Please enjoy the show.

This Is Camping: A How-To Guide
Ah, camping. The Great Outdoors. The Final Frontier. The Untamed Wilderness. The Heart of Darkness. The gang lugged the camping gear out to the woods this week and had a great time communing with nature. The learned valuable lessons, like how to fall in a river and how to lull a raging bear into a sense of false security. It was fun! Since they had such a good time and learned a lot about life, Ted, Nick and Heather decided to share some valuable camping lessons with you, our valued listeners. So pour yourself a tall glass of boiled water, grab some s'mores and come along on the journey. Also there are shout outs to LeVar Burton and the loveable traitorous scamp, Eddy Snowden. Hate mail commence! As always, please comment here or on the Facebook page at [embed]https://www.facebook.com/thisisstupidshow[/embed] Also, please check out [embed]https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/readingrainbow/bring-reading-rainbow-back-for-every-child-everywh[/embed] Most of all, enjoy the show!

X-Men: Days of Future Past
Hey internet! This week on Dinner and a Show, Ted is joined by three podcast virgins. Mike, Dave and Cody join Ted in the new and improved studio to talk all things X-Men. We all really liked the movie, so unfortunately there is no fighting. But Mike really just wants to talk about hot chicks and Cody is working off a hangover, so there is that. Apologies to Jennifer Lawrence, your body suit didn't look THAT bad. We also talk movie theater concessions, and get pretty much nowhere, because, really, who doesn't like an extra-large popcorn with butter sauce and a gallon of cola. Enjoy! And what are you doing listening to a podcast, go outside! Thanks for listening! Comment on the facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/thisisstupidshow!

GODZILLA!
Dinner and a Show is BACK with a 15 megaton bang! Ted, Amy (of Girl's Night fame) and newcomer Beau sit down at the rectangular round table to to turkey... giant, scaly nuclear fire breathing turkey. After getting our faces melted off by Godzilla and Bryan Cranston's respective cleansing fires, and then stuffing the scabby remains with sushi, we were ready to vomit our opinions on this modern take on the classic kaiju known as Gojira across the waves. We review the film, talk the history of the Kaiju genre, and a brief review and history of SUSHI. DISCLAIMER: Most of the "facts" given on the show are moderately accurate at best. We love being corrected, please comment on the Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/thisisstupidshow with your vitriolic commentary. Also, HERE BE SPOILERS, listen at your own peril. They start around 20 minutes in. We will warn you. Please to enjoy, Godzilla. Also listen for Beau's decreasing sobriety throughout the show, it's a bonus feature.

This Is Ridesharing
This week on the show, the gang talks ridesharing. You know, like Uber? Oh, you haven't heard of Uber? It's like an iphone app, you get rides through it... ok how about Lyft? They staple goofy mustaches to the front of their cars and... no? Ok, well listen up because Ted, Nick and Heather are about to educate you! We talk about the history of sharing vehicles, "slugging", and why the practice has become so divisive and controversial. Sit back, strap in and get ready for another stupid episode. Please share this episode. We depend on the listeners to get our content circulated, and if you play your cards right, you get a puppy. Someday.

This Is Fictional Science
This week, we are blinding you with science! Fictional science, that is. The science of science fiction... in layman's terms. A couple of pretty undereducated laymen at that. Nick and Ted sit down in the studio this week to explore the "science" that often crops up in popular fiction, and how silly it tends to be. We recorded this episode on May the 4th, and there were mimosas. To be fair there are always mimosas. You're welcome.

This is Video Games?
Hey out there in the internet jungle! We here at This Is Stupid would like to bring you a very important message. Never, ever, no matter what you do, no matter what promises they make or ways they threaten, allow a tele-presence robot into your home. Ever. That having been said, we welcome our robotic masters as they usher in a new era of peace, harmony, and wholesale slaughter of all organic life on Planet Earth. This has been a pre-recorded message from This Is Stupid. Stay stupid, meatbags. (Thanks Louis for contributing to this episode. Sorry we were so mean to you. But honestly, you kind of deserve it. You knew what you were getting into. I mean, really. We are dicks to each other. Poor Heather has to wash the tear-streaked mascara off her face like, three times a show. So quit your bitching.)

This Is Making Friends
We're BACK! I know you didn't ask for it, but here it is. Freakin' deal with it. This episode stars Ted, Heather, Kim and Nick and also Ted talking about how to make friends as old people in the modern world! Also Kim and Heather explain how to make friends as young people! We cover all the bases! Also, Ted guest stars as Ted, "Old Creepy Man #2", and Ted, "Confused Lurking Stranger". Seriously, it's great to be back. The studio shrunk, please excuse the audio, we are still undergoing construction. Pics will be up at some point. Enjoy! Good Job!

This Is Confidence
Oh my god did you hear what Becky said about... Oh, hi Stupidheads! I didn't see you there. This week the gang gets serious and talks confidence and confidentiality. So, please, just don't talk shit about us. We can't take it. We are like, legit pussies.

This Is Moving.mp3
Hey Stupids! This week, the gang talks moving. Ted is moving on, out of his apartment and on to greener pastures. Literally, his new apartment is called Greener Pastures. It's probably actually a nursing home, but he got a really great deal. Nick and Heather are moving into the coat room at One This Is Stupid Plaza, after horrible simultaneous house fires. Pay attention for some great tips on how to have a successful move, and also how to avoid alternative relationships in the Navy! Stay stupid everybody.

This Is Relationship Expectations
Stupidheads! Good afternoon/evening/night! We hope we find you well this week. So Ted invited his old friend Dennis and host of Girl's Night, Kim, on This Is Stupid. This was a great idea because both of them had lots to say about relationship expectations! It was very exciting for everyone, especially Dennis, because he didn't think he would be asked back after the "incident" last time. There was almost no fighting. Remember to check your itunes, facebook feed or go straight to the website at www.thisistheblog.com every Wednesday evening for new stupid episodes baked fresh for the holes that you hear into. Enjoy! PS! Keep listening for EXTRA SPECIAL BONUS CONTENT after the theme song!

Military Dating Part 2
Hey Stupidheads! This week Ted is joined by Nick and Heather, which is his habit lately. They decided to talk some more about militarv dating this week, and actually managed to get past basic training! Also Heather is not as drunk. Which makes it much less interesting. So listen up, maybe you won't learn something. Stay stupid everybody!

Insecurity Or How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Oh My God Why Is That Bitch Looking At Me
It's official... Ted has finally let Kim take over the show (Kim and the girls locked him in the closet). The girls combined forces to talk about one of the least discussed topics in today's society, but one that affects us the most... insecurities! Kim is feeling a little insecure just thinking about it. The girls decided the best way to tackle this challenging topic was with faces covered in breakfast burritos, pjs, and limited make-up. The challenge being to blame others for their own insecurities! So make sure you listen close to make sure you aren't being blamed for anything. Also, please write in with your own insecurities! With love and wine... LeeLee

This Is Military Dating Part One
So much topic we couldn't fit it into one show! Hey Stupidheads, this week the gang talks about relationships in the military. We have titled this two-part show "Love in the Military: From Masturbation to Marriage". Drinks are had, drinks are had, and we talk about love in the foxhole! Not that hole. Gross. Enjoy!

This Is Alternative Relationships
Hey Stupidheads! Full disclosure, something happened with the audio this week. It's a bit crackly. We are working 'round the clock to fix whatever the hell is going on with the mixer. I think it's an imp who has nested inside of it, but Nick thinks it's Jesus punishing us for the cheating episode. It's probably just because Heather pushed a bunch of random buttons before we started recording. This week Ted is joined by Nick, Heather the Intern and newcomer Alison for another sexy, crazy episode! This week the gang gets down and dirty with a deep, penetrating look at open and other relationships. Polygamy, polyamory, polygons and polyps, it's a hell of a ride. Nick and Ted approve this message. Heather and Alison mostly roll their eyes. Stay stupid everybody!

This Is Cheating
Yeah... I really don't know what happened with this one. Big changes on the show. Sorry. The guys talk about cheating and stuff! There is a live orchestra! The intern speaks! Thrills! Excitement! Sex! Again, I apologize. Stay stupid everybody! Do what we say, not what we do! Picture Credit: www.chromoz.com

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty
Hey movie lovers! This week, the gang gets around to reviewing The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, the new Ben Stiller Joint. Carlin liked it. Nick and Ted are on the fence. We also talk about cake, for some reason. Apparently if you have seen the movie, this makes sense. Enjoy the show!

This Is Dream Vacations
Hey everybody! We're back! The Stupid crew was just on vacation jet-setting around the globe, resting up and writing lots of great new content for our favorite degenerates, you people! Today Carlin, Ted and permanent special guest star Nick talk about our favorite trips and our ideal vacations, which we will pay for using the interest from the advertising revenue generated by This Is Stupid Enterprises, LLC. Also, we unveil the new features of the re-designed One This Is Stupid Plaza studio complex. Enjoy! Stay Stupid!

This is New Year's Resolutions
Happy New Year, Stupidheads! 2013 was particularly stupid, so here's to making 2014 even stupider! This week on the show, Ted and Carlin are joined once again by troublemaker and perpetual pod-crasher Nick to talk New Year's resolutions, both good and bad. Also, the boys dole out some helpful tips on how to succeed in following through with any BS resolutions you half-hardheartedly slurred while slamming apple schnapps at a house party right before you pass out on the bathroom floor at seven minutes to midnight. Have a very stupid New Year everybody! See you next year!

Anchorman 2
Hey gang, on Dinner and a Show this week, Ted is joined by Nick and Dennis to review Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. Its a pretty awesome time. Also, Ted opines about scotch and tries to educate his special guests. They respond with fried chicken. Heathens! ENJOY THE SHOW PLEASE.

This Is Social Convention
Hey Stupidheads! On the show this week, Ted is rejoined by the power couple of Carlin and Kim to break down social conventions. They pretty much just talk about pooping. ENJOY.

Christmas Movies!
Join Ted, Nick and Nicky for a brand-spankin' new episode of Dinner and a Show, just in time for the most magical time of the year! We are talking Xmas movies this episode, and then embark on a lengthy discussion of delicious Christmas memories and horrifying holiday treats. Enjoy and merry Christmahannaquanizikah!

This Is Social Media
Hey Stupidheads! Nick sits in for Carlin this week and the guys are joined by superfan and OG Stupidhead Dennis for a frank discussion of social media. Although, it's mostly Nick just reading his own twitter feed. Honestly it got kind of uncomfortable. Also the guys usher a new intern into service. It looks like she is going to work out, she already has ignoring the guys and not making sandwiches down. Now she just needs to work on unamused glares and snarky comments under her breath. Enjoy the show! And as always, please check us out on facebook at www.facebook.com/thisisstupidshow and find us on iTunes, just search for this is stupid and rate us!

This Is Revenge
This week on the show, we take revenge. On your ears. The sound is a little old school, low-fi, if you will, this week. There have been numerous technical challenges the past few weeks, and the studio at One This Is Stupid Plaza is under renovations. Pardon our dust. Revenge! The gang discusses all factors related to vengeance, the world's oldest profession. Or something. We talk personal stories, movies, myths, and definitions. This Is Stupid is a podcast best served cold.

This Is How To Score With Dudes
Hey everybody! This week Ted and Carlin are joined by Kim to discuss the counterpoint to last week's triumphant educational episode. Also, Carlin and Kim make a VERY SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT. Success stories are shared and advice is doled out in small, bite-sized delicious packages. And we discover that Kim has the best radio voice. Ever. Ever. Seriously. Ever. Enjoy! Stay stupid everybody!

LEGAL NOTICE: THE CONTENTS OF THIS RECORDED MEDIA IS MEANT FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY AND DOES NOT REFLECT THE BELIEFS, OPINIONS, OR POLITICAL POSITION OF THIS IS STUPID PRODUCTIONS LLC OR ANY OF ITS WHOLLY-OWNED SUBSIDIARIES OR FRANCHISES. IT'S A LOWBROW COMEDY PODCAST. GET OVER IT. Seriously, with this one, if you think you might like to be offended by things, don't listen. If you think things are funny and enjoy funny things, then please let Carlin and Ted's sultry voices make sweet love to your willing eardrums. This week, the guys explore the illicit world of modern dating and take a long and hard, among other suggestive words, look at the male perspective thereof. They share their successes, failures, lessons learned and an exhaustive list of steps on the road to foolproof lovin'. Ain't nothing wrong with a little bump and grind. As long as it's consensual, legal in your current state of residence and all concerned parties use proper physical, mental and legal protections. Enjoy!

This Is Asteroids
We're back! Well, Ted is at least. Josh is taking an extended leave of absence. He took waaaaaay too much peyote at Burning Man this year, and let's just say he is on a vision quest. Or rumspringa. Or a walkabout. Whatever it is, he is happy and well, faithful listener, have no fear. So, during Josh's sabbatical, Ted decided to soldier on, and invited some guest co-hosts to fill in while Josh is discovering himself. This week it's Carlin. Who is Carlin, you ask? Ted met Carlin going through his trash one night. Ted though Carlin was a racoon, Carlin thinks Carlin is an astrophysicist and Nobel laureate. Who is Ted to judge? Nobody, that's who! So, Stupid Nation, sit back and enjoy Ted and Carlin discuss the cosmos, some favorite movie quotes, and the quandaries of pumping one's own gas. Thanks for listening, and stay stupid.

Blackfish
Hey Stupidheads! This week, Josh and Ted talk about the dread Black Fish. Josh saw the movie, Ted didn't. Ted was scared. Ted doesn't like the orca. Ted doesn't like to talk about it. Josh went to see the documentary about so-called killer whales that has animal lovers all in a tizzy. Apparently it's pretty good. The guys also talk about seafood and Inuit survival strategies. Ted played Angry Birds throughout this entire episode.

Riddick
This week Josh and Ted get real with Riddick. Third (and hopefully final) film in the Richard B. Riddick trilogy came out recently and Ted just had to torture his eyeballs with some popcorn sci-fi madness. Josh declined to watch the movie, per usual. He is much smarter than Ted. The guys break down the film and discuss the strange, bounty hunter-ful future of the Riddick universe. Enjoy!

This is Dreams
Hey kids, this week, Josh and Ted are joined by their favorite guest Alex. The guys and girl discuss dreams, dream interpretation and how realistic the film Inception is. Favorite dreams are discussed and dissected, and everybody feels just a little more crazy by the end of it. Nothing new. Enjoy!

The first ever DC Chivecast
Hey chivers! This week we finally got around to recording the first ever DC Chivecast. Ted is joined in the rooftop studio at One Stupid Plaza by venerable DC Chive administrators Shawn and Lewis to discuss all things chive. If you aren't familiar with the global phenomenon that is the Chive, or if you are new to the community, listen closely and maybe you will get to soak up some of the magic through the scientific principal of osmosis. If you already chive, then please, by all means, chive on. P.S. Let us know if you want to be on the show! Email Ted and Josh at thisisstupidshow@gmail.com, or just put your request in the comments on the post for this episode. Or hit us up on Facebook!

The World's End
This week, Josh and Ted rap about the new Britromzomrobocom, The World's End. This movie wraps up the so-called "Cornetto Trilogy" by the comedic team of Edgar Wright, Nick Frost and Simon Pegg, and it really is the cherry on top. Ted explains the movie to Josh, Josh doesn't get it as usual and loses interest in the dicussion within the first 30 seconds. Hilarity ensues. Then they talk about pub food. Enjoy!

Horror
This week, due to a lack of homework on Josh and Ted's respective parts, there was no film viewing. So the guys decided to roll out one of their new, shiny genre episodes! On this episode, Josh and Ted talk about their favorite horror movies, where horror fits into the world of cinema and basically whatever else is on their minds. Enjoy!

Elysium
This week, Josh and Ted step into the shiny dystopia of Neil Blomkamp's newest film, Elysium. The guys break down the themes of the film and Ted gains a whole new perspective. Also, they sink their teeth into some delicious discussion of Brazilian cuisine, mainly because they assume that's what the poor people in the nuevo-favelas of the future will be cramming into their irradiated gullets. It's safe to assume there are spoilers in this one. Activate Kruger.

The Conjuring
Hey guys! Alex joins the boys this episode to discuss the frighteningly well produced instant classic horror film The Conjuring. It almost comes to blows between Alex and Ted during a heated discussion, which is stopped at the last second by a mysterious pizza delivery. Chills! Thrills! Enjoy the show.

The Wolverine
This week, the guys slice and dice Hugh Jackman's 17th outing as The Wolverine. The finer points of the film are discussed, the shirtless scenes are tallied (pretty much the whole movie) and the lack of big showy dance numbers is lamented. Also, there is a lot of chatter about Japanese food and a discussion of particle physics and the effects of being caught within the corona of a nuclear blast. BORING! Stay stupid everybody!

Red 2
Neither Josh or Ted saw the movie. So this week, they kinda just made things up as they went along. Then Ted went back in time and saw the movie and changed the space-time continuum, which cause a butterfly effect and now everybody has tails. It's been a weird week. Also, the guys talk about the tradition of spies lacing various food items with poison and the long history of food-related assassinations. It's related to the movie, we swear. Enjoy!

Pacific Rim
This week, Ted saw another movie and Josh didn't because he was too busy for fun and games. The guys talk about Pacific Rim and fusion cuisine, and get down and dirty with an in-depth look at robot anatomy. Enjoy!

IRL
In this VERY SPECIAL EPISODE of This Is Stupid, Josh, Ted, Roxy and Alex discuss taking their online lives offline. They delve into the twisted, incestuous world of online dating and meetup groups. And PORN. The girls bring their unique perspectives to the show and of course, lend it a little class that it was seriously lacking. Sit back, relax, and prepare to take copious notes. Fair warning, the porn discussion gets somewhat graphic, so those with delicate, virgin ears made of soft lambskin should probably skip that part. We talk about body parts and say bad words. (The audio is weird on this one, apologies.) Enjoy the sex positivity and groovy vibes!

World War Z
This week, Josh and Ted are joined by Alex to discuss big Brad Pitt blockbuster World War Z, cannibals, and brain-based cuisine. The gang takes a look at the recent growing fascination with zombies and why it’s such a popular guilty pleasure. Also, they discuss the fine points of serving human organs at fancy dinner parties. No humans were harmed in the recording of this episode. Enjoy!

Der Übermensch!
It’s another dinner and a show this week! Josh and Ted discuss the finer points of Man of Steel and break down the culinary zeitgeist of the United States. And we add a new segment to the already jam-packed show! Enjoy, and tune in next week for a new episode of This Is Stupid.

Dinner and a Show: This is the End
This Is Stupid Presents: Dinner and a Show! "This is the End" Josh just went to see the cinematic triumph "This is the End". He didn't invite Ted. This makes Josh a dick. Regardless, Josh and Ted discuss the film, food inspired by it and what they would want to find in an abandoned fallout shelter during a scavenging trip in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Josh's voice sounds stupid on this episode.

This Is Stupid Live!
This podcast was recorded in front of a live audience. They weren’t paying attention. Josh and Ted talk movies, fitness, natural selection, and the difference between a mage and a wizard. It’s a fine line, apparently. Enjoy the fine, flawless audio quality and lightning-quick quips while the guys duel with words in real time. For your bloodthirsty pleasure. You animals.

This Is Communication
This week, things get real. Josh and Ted almost have a falling out. The guys talk about communication, and how hard it is in today's society. Also, they nerd out over Game of Thrones. *SPOILERS*

This Is Contested Nations
This week, Ted and Josh get political, so the episode might be a little dense. They also get kind of drunk, so it might not entirely make sense. So sit back and enjoy the chaos. Some people just want to watch the podcast burn. Some people just forget to hit the record button. Who knows, you might learn something from today's episode. But definitely not anything about Canadian currency or sea-steading. This is stupid.

This Is Traffic
This week, the guys gripe, bitch and complain. They also talk about traffic patterns in the Northern Capital Region. I mean, come on, who doesn't hate traffic? Enjoy some more vitriol and hate, curtesy of Josh and Ted. This is stupid.

This is the Holidays!
The guys decided not to go home for the holidays this year. Any of them. Instead, they started a podcast. Their families are ashamed.
