Selamat Hari Malaysia. As Malaysians, we know that Malaya was free from the British occupation in 1957. But do many of us realise the actual formation of Malaysia, consisting of Malaya, Sabah and Sarawak, was only formalised in 1963. Which makes our country only 55 years old. Today, Huda asks the question - what makes us Malaysians? How much do we really know about Malaysia? Do we really recognise and think of our Sabah and Sarawak brethren as part of us?
