Hi Mamas! Awesome episode today with the owner and founder of Be Big Be Brave, Laura Bagnarol.    In 1998, Laura Bagnarol started her career in the field of victim services by providing crisis intervention and support services to survivors of crime of all ages.  She has provided hundreds of trainings on the topic of trauma to a wide array of schools, underserved populations and professional organizations in and beyond the Hudson Valley. She has also taught on the topic of interpersonal violence as an Adjunct Instructor at The College of New Rochelle.    In 2013, while home raising her children, Laura founded Be Big Be Brave, LLC, an innovative company that inspires and empowers kids through its educational and recreational programs.  The Pigskin Princess Project, a flag football program (for girls, ages 3-11) was her first program initiative and continues to make a significant impact in the lives of girls throughout the Hudson Valley.    Soon after, the Pigskin Prince Project, an anti-bullying, flag football program for preschool age boys was created!  Most recently, in the fall of 2018, Laura launched The Brave Project, a self-awareness, safety program for middle school and high school age girls.     Laura is a fierce activist who cares deeply about creating a culture where kids can live safe, happy, healthy lives.  She is a motivational speaker who presents to audiences of all ages on wide-ranging topics from cultivating kindness to being brave in business and in life!     Laura lives in the Hudson Valley region of New York with her husband Rob and their three children.  She holds a Masters degree in Social Work from Fordham University.
