LIES IN MARRIAGE: I AM THE BOSS "It's my right!", "I'm entitled to this!", "I should have this!" are quotes we often hear and say. But did Jesus act like that? Is this how we are supposed to live? In all His life on earth, we see Jesus not being taken away by accusations, false judgements and wrongdoings. We learn He came to serve and not be served, and that we are also called to do so: to surrender our expectations and rights. To acknowledge that, regardless of any accomplishnent and morality, we should not think we are entitled to anything, but instead, trust God's authority and character with everything that comes our way. Wir lernen, dass er gekommen ist, um zu dienen und nicht, um bedient zu werden, und dass auch wir dazu aufgerufen sind: auf unsere Erwartungen und Rechte zu verzichten. Wir sollen anerkennen, dass wir unabhängig von Leistung und Moral nicht glauben sollten, dass uns irgendetwas zusteht, sondern dass wir bei allem, was auf uns zukommt, auf Gottes Autorität und Charakter vertrauen sollen.
