Last week saw the return of the Carlow Business Awards for the first time since 2019, and it was a business awards with a difference with proceedings taking place across three venues where representatives from Carlow businesses large and small gathered to honour the best across a range of categories.In this episode of The Bottom Line on KCLR, John Purcell chatted with Eimear Ní Bhraonáin about the resilience of the Carlow Business Community, their inspirational stories and how they overcame the challenges of the past number of years.John also spoke to Bobby Quinn who was the recipient of The Lifetime Achievement Award, James Keogh, Director of Rathwood Ireland who were winners of Carlow Business of the Year and to Shauna Doyle of Doyles Tarmacadam Ltd who took home the title of Outstanding Small Business Of the Year. Having just been crowned the National Retailer of the Year at the Retail Excellence Awards 2021 and winning the Best Online Presence Award at the Carlow Business Awards Rachael Doyle, Founder of Arboretum Lifestyle & Garden Centre spoke John about what the awards mean to her and the team.With thanks to O’Neill Foley, Produced by Deirdre Dromey.  To contact the show, email: [email protected]
