This morning we define Chanukah as the holiday to reject assimilation. Using Avraham's formulation of Ger V'Toshav (I am an immigrant/citizen, according to the Rav, Rabbi Yosef Soloveitchik), we identify three elements to this vital process to put into practice in our time.
