Pogovor je potekal 21. decembra, 2016 na Intimnem odru GT22 v okviru serije #ekstremnoslovensko, v kateri predstavljamo slovenske filmske ustvarjalke. Špela Čadež se je rodila v Sloveniji. Po diplomi iz grafičnega oblikovanja v letu 2002 je nadaljevala študij na Akademiji medijskih umetnosti v Kölnu v Nemčiji. V času študija je posnela dve lutkovni animaciji, ki sta dobili mednarodno priznanje; Mate meriti, (2004) in Zaljubljen, (2007). Od leta 2008 Špela Čadež dela kot samostojni filmski režiser in producent za animacijo. Njen film Boles je bil predvajan po vsem svetu in si prislužil 50 nagrad, priznanj in nominacij. Zadnji film Nočna ptica je bil na letošnjem Festivalu slovenskega filma nagrajen z vesno za najboljšo animacijo. Špela Čadež was born in Slovenia. After graduating in Graphic Design in 2002, she continued her studies at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne, Germany. During her studies, she made two puppet animations that gained international recognition; Mate to Measure, (2004) and Lovesick, (2007). Since 2008 Špela Čadež has been working as an independent animation film director and producer. Her film Boles, has been screened worldwide, receiving 50 awards, distinctions and nominations.
