This series of talks unfolds the highest truths of Vedanta through the study of "The song of God". 🔆 Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 11 Verse 34: द्रोणं च भीष्मं च जयद्रथं चकर्णं तथान्यानपि योधवीरान् |मया हतांस्त्वं जहि मा व्यथिष्ठायुध्यस्व जेतासि रणे सपत्नान् || 34|| droṇaṁ cha bhīṣhmaṁ cha jayadrathaṁ chakarṇaṁ tathānyān api yodha-vīrānmayā hatāṁs tvaṁ jahi mā vyathiṣhṭhāyudhyasva jetāsi raṇe sapatnān 🔴 Dronacharya, Bheeshma, Jayadratha, Karn, and other brave warriors have already been killed by Me. Therefore, slay them without being disturbed. Just fight and you will be victorious over your enemies in battle. || 34 || 🔆 Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 11 Verse 35: सञ्जय उवाच |एतच्छ्रुत्वा वचनं केशवस्यकृताञ्जलिर्वेपमान: किरीटी | नमस्कृत्वा भूय एवाह कृष्णंसगद्गदं भीतभीत: प्रणम्य || 35|| sañjaya uvāchaetach chhrutvā vachanaṁ keśhavasyakṛitāñjalir vepamānaḥ kirīṭīnamaskṛitvā bhūya evāha kṛiṣhṇaṁsa-gadgadaṁ bhīta-bhītaḥ praṇamya 🔴 Sanjay said: Hearing these words of Keshav, Arjun trembled with dread. With palms joined, he bowed before Shree Krishna and spoke in a faltering voice, overwhelmed with fear. || 35 || 🔆 Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 11 Verse 36: अर्जुन उवाच |स्थाने हृषीकेश तव प्रकीर्त्याजगत्प्रहृष्यत्यनुरज्यते च | रक्षांसि भीतानि दिशो द्रवन्तिसर्वे नमस्यन्ति च सिद्धसङ्घा: || 36|| arjuna uvāchasthāne hṛiṣhīkeśha tava prakīrtyājagat prahṛiṣhyaty anurajyate charakṣhānsi bhītāni diśho dravantisarve namasyanti cha siddha-saṅghāḥ 🔴 Arjun said: O Master of the senses, it is but apt that the universe rejoices in giving You praise and is enamored by You. Demons flee fearfully from You in all directions and hosts of perfected saints bow to You. || 36 || 🔆 Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 11 Verse 37: कस्माच्च ते न नमेरन्महात्मन्गरीयसे ब्रह्मणोऽप्यादिकर्त्रे |अनन्त देवेश जगन्निवासत्वमक्षरं सदसतत्परं यत् || 37|| kasmāch cha te na nameran mahātmangarīyase brahmaṇo ’py ādi-kartreananta deveśha jagan-nivāsatvam akṣharaṁ sad-asat tat paraṁ yat 🔴 O Great One, who are even greater than Brahma, the original creator, why should they not bow to you? O Limitless One, O Lord of the devatās, O Refuge of the universe, You are the imperishable reality beyond both the manifest and the non-manifest. || 37 || 🔆 Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 11 Verse 38: त्वमादिदेव: पुरुष: पुराणस्- त्वमस्य विश्वस्य परं निधानम् | वेत्तासि वेद्यं च परं च धाम त्वया ततं विश्वमनन्तरूप || 38|| tvam ādi-devaḥ puruṣhaḥ purāṇastvam asya viśhvasya paraṁ nidhānamvettāsi vedyaṁ cha paraṁ cha dhāmatvayā tataṁ viśhvam ananta-rūpa 🔴 You are the primeval God and the original Divine Personality; You are the sole resting place of this universe. You are both the knower and the object of knowledge; You are the Supreme Abode. O possessor of infinite forms, You alone pervade the entire universe. || 38 || 🔆 Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 11 Verse 39: वायुर्यमोऽग्निर्वरुण: शशाङ्क:प्रजापतिस्त्वं प्रपितामहश्च | नमो नमस्तेऽस्तु सहस्रकृत्व:पुनश्च भूयोऽपि नमो नमस्ते || 39|| vāyur yamo ’gnir varuṇaḥ śhaśhāṅkaḥprajāpatis tvaṁ prapitāmahaśh chanamo namas te ’stu sahasra-kṛitvaḥpunaśh cha bhūyo ’pi namo namas te 🔴 You are Vāyu (god of wind), Yamraj (god of death), Agni (god of fire), Varuṇ (god of water), and Chandra (moon-god). You are the creator Brahma, and the Great-grandfather of all beings. I offer my salutations unto You a thousand times, again and yet again! || 39 || 🔆 Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 11 Verse 40: नम: पुरस्तादथ पृष्ठतस्तेनमोऽस्तु ते सर्वत एव सर्व | अनन्तवीर्यामितविक्रमस्त्वंसर्वं समाप्नोषि ततोऽसि सर्व: || 40|| namaḥ purastād atha pṛiṣhṭhatas tenamo ’stu te sarvata eva sarvaananta-vīryāmita-vikramas tvaṁsarvaṁ samāpnoṣhi tato ’si sarvaḥ 🔴 O Lord of infinite power, my salutations to You from the front and the rear, indeed from all sides! You possess infinite valor and might and pervade everything, and thus, You are everything. || 40 || 🔆 Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 11 Verse 41-42: सखेति मत्वा प्रसभं यदुक्तं हे कृष्ण हे यादव हे सखेति | अजानता महिमानं तवेदंमया प्रमादात्प्रणयेन वापि || 41|| यच्चावहासार्थमसत्कृतोऽसिविहारशय्यासनभोजनेषु | एकोऽथवाप्यच्युत तत्समक्षंतत्क्षामये त्वामहमप्रमेयम् || 42|| sakheti matvā prasabhaṁ yad uktaṁhe kṛiṣhṇa he yādava he sakhetiajānatā mahimānaṁ tavedaṁmayā pramādāt praṇayena vāpiyach chāvahāsārtham asat-kṛito ’sivihāra-śhayyāsana-bhojaneṣhueko ’tha vāpy achyuta tat-samakṣhaṁtat kṣhāmaye tvām aham aprameyam 🔴 BG 11.41-42: Thinking of You as my friend, I presumptuously addressed You as, “O Krishna,” “O Yadav,” “O my dear Friend.” I was ignorant of Your majesty, showing negligence and undue affection. And if, jestfully, I treated You with disrespect, while playing, resting, sitting, eating, when alone, or before others—for all that I crave forgiveness. || 41-42 || Note : Due to limitations in the YouTube description size, we couldn't include verses 43-46.
