Friend and listener to the show George Alexakis recently travelled to South Australia with Tom the Roving Reporter to purchase a car.  They could not afford a classic Ford Mustang Fastback or a Holden Monaro so they bought a 1990 W126 Mercedes 300SE instead. We look at the negotiating process, we discuss the pros and cons of buying from a dealer compared to buying privately.  We look at the difference of driving back versus using car carriers to return the newly purchased car.
