There are way too many expectations of us as women and mothers, and some of the best advice, although easier said than done, is to quietly not buy into it. Ask yourself, what are all the things you need to let go of? A messy house Fast food meals Matching sock Know what hill you want to die on. Messy bedrooms, dirty kitchen, overflowing inbox... You have to pick what's right for you and prioritize accordingly. You can't please them all, so focus on who you must pay attention to and forget the rest. You only have so much capacity in a day, a life, and the most important people in your life, are right in front of you. Be there for them. And if you have a business, create and PROTECT the time for the most critical tasks so you can be home every day. This week I chat with the brilliant Julie Cole, co-founder of Mabel's Labels, award-winning entrepreneur, best-selling author, mom of six, and sought-after speaker and emcee.
