When I first started my journey into functional medicine, I read a book called Total Recovery and thought, “yes, this is how medicine should be treated.” I don’t need to spell out that he’s been a massive influence in my work and in my life. That person is Gary Kaplan.Dr. Gary Kaplan is the founder and medical director of the Kaplan Center for Integrative Medicine. A pioneer and leader in the field of integrative medicine, Dr. Kaplan is one of only 19 physicians in the country to be board-certified in both Family Medicine and Pain Medicine. Dr. Kaplan is passionate about using multidisciplinary and alternative medicine strategies to address underlying chronic conditions. His forthcoming book, Why You Are Still Sick, is set to be released in June, 2022.We go into several topics, from autism to Alzheimer's to Parkinson's, ADD, and more.
