Cette semaine, tu vas faire la connaissance de Sébastien, fondateur de Mapstr. Une très belle app sur laquelle on répertorie tous ses lieux préférés (cafés, restos, boutiques, etc.) pour s’en souvenir ou les faire découvrir à nos proches. On va revenir sur quelques étapes clés dans la boite, dont la période Covid qui a provoqué une chute de 95% de leur trafic et ce pendant près de 2 ans ! Plus récemment, on va analyser le passage d’un modèle 100% gratuit à une app partiellement payante pour une partie des 4,5M d’utilisateurs, c’était fin 2024. L’équipe de Mapstr s’est fait copieusement insulter, des milliers de personnes sont aller mettre la note la plus basse sur les stores pour se plaindre. Alors pourquoi les Français rechignent à payer pour un service qu’ils aiment pourtant ?
