151: Tom and Lisa Bilyeu of Impact Theory

from Together 24/7 with Barry & Catherine Cohen · host Barry & Catherine Cohen

A little about our guests. Tom is all about greatness and empowering others. In fact, he has been featured on The School of Greatness podcast as well as the Tony Robbins podcast and has spoken on stages worldwide. Conferences and seminars include Abundance 360, A-fest and Freedom Fast Lane. Tom is a co-founder of the $1 billion dollar unicorn startup, Quest Nutrition. Lisa is living proof that Darwin was correct when he said “it is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but rather, the most adaptive to change.” She started a career in film, moved into administration, and joined the team as a founding member of Quest Nutrition. Tom and Lisa have been together 17 years and decided to go into business together about a year after meeting. They have been together 24/7 ever since and love every minute of it. A little about their business. After creating Quest and feeding the body with great nutrition, Tom and Lisa knew it was time to work on the mind. They created Impact Theory as a podcast, blog, and Tom – speaking, teaching, working to help people build things that matter. Tom and Lisa are driven to help people develop the skills they will need to improve themselves and the world. They are intent on using commerce to address the dual pandemics of physical and mental malnourishment. Tom regularly inspires audiences of entrepreneurs, change makers, and thought leaders at some of the most prestigious conferences and seminars around the world. One piece of advice (the nutshell version) Everything comes down to a growth mindset. Take ownership for the position we are in in life.
