167. Toppermost: Back To The Egg. Med Lars Daneskov

"Back To The Egg" med Wings er et album der er gået i glemmebogen. Ellere rettere; Paul McCartney har intet gjort for at hans fans skal huske LP´en fra 1979. Seneste genudgivelse ligger tilbage i 1993, og pladen har tilsyneladende aldrig været i nærheden af at få en kærlig hånd i form af en "Archive" udgivelse.  1979 var en musikalsk brydningstid og "Back To The Egg"  landede i et uroligt musiklandskab – midt imellem Punk, New Wave og Disco. Måske af den grund nåede albummet nummer seks på hitlisten i UK og nummer otte i USA. Samtidig rasede voldsomme elementer omkring McCartney – bl.a. nyt pladeselskab og nye medlemmer af Wings. Selvom pladen ikke er elsket af Paul selv, har den langsomt fået en større fanskare. En af dem, der altid har holdt af "Back To The Egg" er Lars Daneskov, der købte LP´en  for 59, 50 i den lokale pladebutik. For egne på avisruters opsparede penge. Lars nævnte i sin første medvirken i "Elsker The Beatles" at han holder meget af "Back To The Egg" – og siden da har det været et ønske at få ham med i en "Toppermost", hvor vi kunne gå i dybden med pladen og dens historie. Første del af to fokuserer på forhistorien. Vi kommer ind på de nævnte ydre faktorer, og fokuserer især på "Goodnight Tonight singlen, der måske burde være med på pladen. Vi når også at sætte de første tre numre på, og taler bl.a. om "Getting Closers"  store, herlige indbyggede POWER.   Lars Daneskov er forfatter og tidligere radiovært på P3, hvor han var og er beundret af undertegnede for sin sproglige flair, stærke programmer og masser af musikalitet. Lige nu er han aktuel med bogen "Der var engang et eventyr", der er ni moderne eventyr for børn i alle aldre. Derudover har han lavet musik med Tamra Rosanes og skal nu så småt i gang med at skrive teksterne til det, der bliver Mike Tramps tredje album på dansk.  Og så er han STOR Beatles og McCartney fan.
