169: Making Boundaries Simple Pt. 1

from Dorothy and the Dealer Podcast · host Dorothy and the Dealer Podcast

Setting and enforcing strong boundaries can be the difference between imploding  your life and transforming it.  It should come as no surprise then that this is one of the things we’re asked to speak about most often. So, over the next two weeks we’re giving you a mini-series of podcasts about this! Including how to know you need boundaries in your life (Part 1) and what to do to put them in place (Part 2). In this episode Mills is dishing out FIVE signs boundaries are lacking in your life. Constantly being a people pleaser (where do you stop and someone else starts) An inability to speak up (Or being too emotional when you do) Feeling guilty or anxious all the time (Because you’re putting more value on someone else) A fear of rejection (Not wanting to lose someone else, but losing yourself instead.  You carry resentment that people don’t ‘know’ what you need.  (People can only ‘cross’ lines if you’ve actually set & communicated them first.
