71 jaar geleden maakten de ouders van Minggus Pessy de overtocht van de Molukken naar Nederland. Niet veel later werd Minggus geboren in kamp Well in Limburg, vervolgens verhuisde het gezin naar het Brabantse Cuijck. Minggus neemt verslaggever Guido Spring mee langs betekenisvolle plekken uit zijn jeugd, zoals de school die vroeger als kerk dienst deed en waar het gospelkoor Black and White werd opgericht. Verder horen we Max Maselaman en Myrna Groenink-Mastail, die terugblikken op hun bewogen familie geschiedenis en er is veel muziek in deze aflevering!
