Localizada em um dos maiores complexos de favelas do Brasil, a Casa das Mulheres no Rio de Janeiro, oferece refúgio para aquelas que deixam relacionamentos abusivos em uma área onde a polícia se recusa a intervir. A organização tem sido um santuário durante a pandemia, durante a qual muitos moradores de favelas perderam seus empregos.
