#204: The Man Who Eats Faces - Cannibal Frat Boy

from Rotten Mango · host Stephanie Soo & Ramble

The two police officers ran out of their car. They knew there was time was of the essence when they saw the stream of blood running down the residential driveway. They had their guns drawn and started making their way into the garage where they heard animalistic noises. A dog perhaps? They didn’t know what to expect but it wasn’t this. On the ground they found the victim laying flat on their back, arms spread, blood everywhere, looking up at them. The victim pleaded with them, “please help me.”And next to the body of the victim was another man. He was latched onto the victim’s body using both hands to hold the victim’s face in place…so he could bite off his face flesh. He chewed. He swallowed. He was eating the victim’s face in front of the police officers. He was like a real-life parasite attached to the victim’s face.Full Source Notes: rottenmangopodcast.com Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. The Econoclasts UnHerd The Econoclasts is a new podcast from UnHerd hosted by economist Yanis Varoufakis and journalist Wolfgang Munchau. While they don't always agree politically, they are united in one conviction: the consensus is rotten. Mainstream economics has consistently failed to predict the events that shape our world, yet this broken orthodoxy still dominates policy and media. Each week, they choose two pillars of the established orthodoxy — the "settled facts" — and shatter them, cutting through the spin to connect the dots between money, geopolitics, and the real forces shaping our future.Don't forget to rate, like and subscribe wherever you get your podcasts.
