Julia Harley is a tattoo artist and animator. On this episode, Julia opens about her current family dynamic and how it has been becoming a new mother. Julia explains how having a child has strengthened her relationships with her family and clients. She goes on to discuss how she began drawing as a way to communicate as he learned English after immigrating over to the US at an early age. Then, Julia talks about going to school in New York to pursue a degree in stop motion animation, but eventually transfer out to come back to a school in Massachusetts. Julia dives into transitioning from animation into tattooing and how it gives her flexibility with her time as a new mother.
