Pete Atkison is an award-winning underwater photographer and Author of the popular book – ‘Polynesia an Ocean Realm’.Pete was born and raised in the UK and attended Bangor University, North Wales where he studied marine zoology. In 1982 he bought Eila, a 1935 classic yacht, which he sailed all over Polynesia, taking photos and writing articles. Pete’s journey to Phuket took him around the world on a yacht for 23 years. Shooting underwater photos, swimming with sharks, and living his dream of being Jacques Cousteau.
