My second author interview with Josh Howard about my new book, Acts and the Movement of God.

We discuss the church in Jerusalem as the role model for every church. We learn that discipleship and church formation are two sides of the same reality. We identify the pattern of engagement in Acts between the movement of God and a lost world. We see how the movement advances through both miracles and martyrdom, signs and suffering. Some of us live in places where the laws have been reformed already; many more of us still live under the darkness of Prohibition. No matter our race, religion, nationality, or place in society we have found our way to a common value system. That system values freedom over authority; creativity over conformity, nature over industry, peace over war, love over hate, radical inclusion over any type of prejudice; and an absolute rejection of any type of intolerance. That is who we are no matter where we find ourselves in geography or circumstances. If we can all figure out how to talk to each other, and how to take common action on the basis of our common value system, we can change this world into the one we all really want
