34 - The glory has departed (S4, EP8)

The High Priest Eli has been living with compromise and a prophecy has warned that his family will not continue God's priesthood. Now invaders steal God's ark of the covenant from the tabernacle. Eli dies, as do his two sons all on the same day. God had told Moses that the people would ask for a King to govern them, like other nations and now God speaks to the prophet Samuel about the people's wishes.
