Celebrate their victories, but also teach them how to handle challenges and setbacks gracefully. Remind them that mistakes are stepping stones to success, not stumbling blocks.It's natural to want to shield our kids from life's challenges, but fostering independence is so important. Start with age-appropriate responsibilities and gradually increase them. Letting them make choices (even if it means a mismatched outfit occasionally) helps them learn decision-making skills. Allow them space to solve problems on their own but be there as a safety net when needed.As parents, our goal isn't to do everything for our kids but to empower them to become capable, self-assured individuals who can navigate the world confidently.
