An einem der Tatorte hinterlässt der Täter eine Nachricht an der Wand, geschrieben mit einem roten Lippenstift. Die Polizei gibt mehrmals an den Fall gelöst zu haben, oft liegen sie jedoch falsch. Der Mann der letztendlich für die Verbrechen verurteilt wird, beteuert bis zuletzt seine Unschuld. Wir sprechen in der heutigen Folge darüber, warum es bis heute umstritten ist, ob der wahre Täter verurteilt wurde.
