Ghostbusters (1984) – Three parapsychologists forced out of their university funding set up shop as a ghost removal service in New York City. Casper (1995) – An afterlife therapist and his daughter meet a friendly ghost when they move into a crumbling mansion in order to rid it of wicked spirits. The Others (2001) – Immediately following the end of the second world war, a woman living with her two photosensitive children, begins to think their family estate is haunted.
