In some cases a driver that has received a major violation, has not been detected by a company inquiry of said drivers MVR. This may result in a driver being hired by a trucking company that is unaware of a drivers that record that in a normal case, would not hire that driver. If a carrier hires a driver that say, has received a recent DWI in a commercial vehicle based on the motor vehicle report showing a clean record, it could result in major lawsuits, if that driver gets into an accident while driving a company vehicle. This is the danger of a state not uploading all infractions into their data base.
