What is HTTP? We recognize it from URLS, but most of us don't have the slightest clue as to what it actually is, I know I didn't. Before I learned about HTTP, I didn't even realize that HTTP was something that did something, as silly as that sounds. I think I sort of just figured that it was just some meaningless part of the URL. In this episode you'll gain an understanding of HTTP and what it does for us, which is a lot. I encourage you to listen even if, especially if, you don't think this is the kind of thing you would understand. I think you'll find it interesting! Thanks for reading :)

Twyla Tharp A large consensus of critics, dancers, and dance-loving audiences would agree that Twyla Tharp has succeeded in her mission. No one making serious dances in this country since the 1960s could ignore the challenge of her inventive, quirky, complex creations. No serious dance artist has ever stretched the boundaries between classical and popular, serious and silly, accessible and intellectual, as Twyla Tharp has. Even the arresting titles of her works convey their antic, inventive quality: The Bix Pieces, Deuce Coupe, Sue's Leg, Push Comes to Shove, Cutting Up. When she first began to work with her own small company in the 1960s, Twyla Tharp brought more intelligence, humor, originality and nerve to the making of dances than New York had seen in a long time, and she did it at a time when New York was the undisputed dance capital of the world. Twyla Tharp accomplished all this in her youth, when her own powerful dancing was one of her company's prime attractions. Hi, I’m David McKerracher, and the reason this podcast exists is because I want the stuff I’m putting out there to be more widely accessible for people who don’t wanna pay for YT premium. I assume an audience of workers with earbuds, even though most of them are, at this point, post grads from Europe who have given up on existing movements, parties, ideologies, and who, ultimately, want to understand the situation we are in. THE CONTENT YOU WILL FIND HERE IS GOING TO BE WEIRD in a few important ways: 1st. Though I do want to be reachable by the kinds of workers, like me, who want this content, it is extremely ni Casually Philosophical Damian Trying to look at everyday events through a philosophical lens. An honest attempt to normalise philosophy and make it accessible to every human. Trying to create a dialogue on philosophy and not restrict it within the holds of few intellectuals.
