#72: How To Overcome Anxiety Using God's Word

from Uniquely You with Destiny Pickens · host Destiny Pickens

One of the emotions naturally expected of humans is the feeling of worry and unease. It is difficult to know what the next day has in store for us so we go about carrying the burden of uncertainty. While this is not so bad, allowing this burden to overwhelm us would cause a drift in our relationship with God. Anxiety is a common experience for many people but it can be particularly difficult to confront alone. Thankfully, the Bible offers comfort and encouragement to those who suffer anxiety. It is not God's plan that we are troubled about things we have no control over. When we worry, we are simply ignoring the supremacy of God. We must understand that the moment we become Kingdom children, the reins of our life are held by God and He is in full control of our affairs. In this episode, I shared 5 scriptures that can help us overcome anxiety.Scriptures Mentioned Philippians 4:6-7 Matthew 6:25-34 Isaiah 41:10 Psalms 56:3-4 1st Peter 5:7 Psalm 56:4 1st Kings 19 Job 13:15 2nd Corinthians 11:23-28 Matthew 6:25-34 Isaiah 41:10LinksAre you currently dealing with anxiety?
