Dr. Amee has been active on stage for more than 30 years. She owns a production house- Avni Arts Pvt. Ltd. which stages Gujarati plays in which she performs as the lead actress.She is the recipient of Best Actress Award five times by Trans Media Gujarati Theatre Film and Serial Award for my play TAMAS, DEV NA DIDHEL and AME MASTI NA MATWALA and Dharmo Rakshati and Jaantaa Ajaantaa. She also won the Best Play Awards at the Trans Media Festival for Gujarati Theatre and Film and Serial for my plays Dharmo Rakshati, Jaantaa Ajaantaaa, and Tamas  Her latest project is producing and acting in a Web Series in Gujarati for Shemaroo titled 'Be- Naquaab'. Not just that, Dr. Amee has also been Vice-Principal of Narsee Monji College in Mumbai for 8 years and is now the Principal of Deviprasad Goenka Management College of Media Studies.
