883 When You've Fallen Short

Life is full of problems that don't have easy solutions or fixes. When you've fallen short, what can you do and how can you handle it? 

Here are some things I have been working through personally that will help you in the problems and hurt you are having.

First off, you're not expected to be perfect. Yes, you may want to be perfect, but you aren't going to be.

You learn from your failures, not your successes.

"If we confess our sins to Him, He is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong." ~ 1 John 1:9 NLT

A mistake is never permanent unless you do nothing to fix it.

Secondly, God solves your problems. He has an answer for everything in your life. Let Him handle your problems. When you let Him in, He will go to work on solving those problems that are too big.

"Since God assured us "I'll never let you down, never walk off and never leave you," we can boldly quote, God is there, ready to help; I'm fearless no matter what. Who or what can get to me?" ~ Hebrews 13:5-6 MSG

Thirdly, God made you a promise.

"Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." ~ Joshua 1:9 NLT

Whatever your problem is, God can handle it. It's not about what you can do. It's what God will do on your behalf.

"Now the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will personally restore, establish, strengthen, and support you." ~ 1 Peter 5:20 HCSB

Celebrate that promise. That's LOVE!

3. Trust His divine intervention as He creates your now.
