Jesus has been taken into heaven miraculously and they have been told that he will return in the same way. But, meantime it is the anniversary of God giving teaching to Moses in the desert and people are in Jerusalem to celebrate. But Jesus has told his friends to wait there, because he is going to send his Holy Spirit.
