A Living Hope :: Easter Sunday

When our desires of the world crumble, Jesus, a Risen Messiah, stands above the ruins calling all who will come. The message of Jesus’ life, death, resurrection, and appearance awakens us from the dead hopes of the world and causes us to be born anew to a living hope. This living hope is an eager and confident expectation that through the Risen Messiah, we will see the goodness of the Lord and receive the inheritance being kept in heaven for us. Jesus is alive, present and caring at every moment of our life. Our worries, fears, and despair can rest in the confident anticipation that God will do good and be good to us.  Through this living hope, we are strengthened to trust in God through troubles, delight in God despite the disaster and obey God’s command through the struggles, knowing that our souls are infinitely secure.
