A Preview of What's to Come!

Hello! And welcome to Always Forward ABA - a podcast where we believe that a happy life is one lived in growth. On this podcast we discuss the latest in habit and behavior change research, our insights as professional behavior analysts, our struggles and successes in managing our own behavior, and how we can use behavioral science to grow and move forward. I am your host, Kathryn K Goerges, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst specializing in severe or dangerous problem behavior and based in Oceanside California. Today’s episode is just to say hello and to give you a preview of what’s to come. When the COVID 19 pandemic hit in early 2020, my team of incredible coworkers and I got together to start this podcast.  We recorded an episode about our experiences in the field of behavioral services for people with dangerous problem behavior and severe disabilities.  You can check that out now it is listed as episode 1. Moving forward, I am planning content around 2 types of episodes - the first, will be occasional discussions with the panel of guests you met on episode 1.  Basically members of my work team that I LOVE, and enjoy talking to.  Every so often we’ll get together to discuss important research, specific articles, or a pertinent topic that we all find fascinating. The second type of episode will be completely different.  In these episodes I will interview interesting guests, behavior analysts and beyond, to get the inside scoop on how they structure and behaviorally design their lives for growth, happiness, health, productivity, self care, and success. We will try to get at the root of how they have developed their successful behaviors, and we will get their advice on how to apply their behavioral insights in our own lives.
