I have been listening to Damon Dash about how to become your own boss & how to be successful. I have had some of the same thoughts as he does on becoming your own boss. There are things he has said that makes good sense. At first, I thought: Why does Aaliyah like Damon Dash?” Well, I don’t know either one of them, but I do know they both wanted to be successful in life. It is said that Aaliyah had been dating Damon for a year before she was killed. If you’re wondering who he is, he is an entrepreneur, film producer, and co-founder of Roc-a-fella. When I look at Damon Dash and listen to him talk, it sounds like it wasn’t always easy for him. It sounds like he doesn’t mind sharing & helping someone else. Maybe that’s what Aaliyah saw in him. That’s a strength that he had that maybe made Aaliyah like him. When I first saw him from the internet, he looked like the serious type of person, and sometimes the I don’t care type of person. I’ve never met him, and I’ve never been around him. So I can’t say what kind of person he really is. However, in order for Aaliyah to choose him to date, there must have been something she saw good about him. Business wise anyway. It sounds as if Damon & Aaliyah didn’t get to spend a whole lot of time together. They were both busy people, but when they were together they looked happy together. There could have been a lot of reasons why Aaliyah liked Damon Dash. He sure was one lucky guy to have her in his life.
